El hotel es viejo y se nota por todos los lados! Hemos pedido una habitación tranquila y nos tocó una (319) muy pequeña con malos olores, armario apestando, baño mohoso y ruidos de obras insoportables.

Cheap hotel in prime location of Santiago”
The hotel looks like it's really upscale in the pictures and the outside. But the rooms need to be remodeled. Bathrooms are very dated and old. The sink needs to be replaced. The flooring is really old. The air-conditioning unit needs to be replaced but it was cool enough. The price I paid was discounted so it was okay. But I would not pay full price for a room.

Super old hotel but good location”
The hotel is on the 4th flr of a pedestrian street so you have to wait downstairs on the sidewalk if you called a taxi, no way of knowing if it's there if you're on the 4th flr. The elevator only goes to the 4th flr, so in our case our room was on the 5th flr and had to pull up our heavy luggage on the stairs. Staff didnt help with luggage. Room was very old, shower drains very slow, breakfast not enticing. I wouldnt stay here again.

It is OK but just a bit run down and grungey. Once in ther hotel you have to carry your own bags up the stairs to your room as there is no lift within the hotel but you get to the hotel by going up to the 4th floor and there is an external lift to get you to reception.

Helpful staff. The hotel is on the fourth floor. You don't pay taxes if you use a credit card instead of the local currency.

Great location for the historic area. Staff were helpful and provided good support. Rooms large and clean. Slightly older hotel, but hey your in the historic area. Would recommend.

Conveniently located budget hotel”
Hotel Santa Lucia is conveniently located just a few blocks from the Santa Lucia Metro stop, and just a blocks from the Plaza de Armas and other sights. It is an older hotel in need of updating, but it is perfect for budget travelers. The staff helped so much with a variety of needs. Breakfast included juice, coffee, tea, several kinds of bread, butter, jam, and scrambled eggs. If you are a budget traveler and need an inexpensive place to stay, this is it!
