Absoultey brilliant, friendly staff, beautiful food and breakfast just watch out for the mosquitos, buy lemon grass spray from the pharmacy. Access to scooters also for a really good price and a lot easier to get to the shops and back than walking. The roads are not so bad there just stick in to the right and it will all be worth the experience. Thanks to everyone at the island logde you made our time here very comfortable and enjoyable ❤️

We loved everything about it. It’s far from all the big resort and it’s a quiet and relaxing place. The food at the hotel is good and the staff very friendly. The pool is not too busy. They have free bikes and motorcycles you can rent on the spot. It’s in the middle of the island so it’s perfect to visit everything.

Island lodge is further inside of ONG Lang town. It is a quite place and if you want to spend time for relaxing, getting away from noisy . This is a true place to be.

Beautiful well kept lodge with plantation style bungalow accommodation. Gorgeous tasteful decor with semi outdoor bathroom. Very substantial well presented breakfast with a good choice. Good housekeeping, very nice staff. Bike hire available and free bikes for your use. The pool is fabulous. Loungers comfy. Our only downsides are the beds are extremely hard. Second being it's a kilometre from the village and it's shops and restaurants. We didn't mind the walk but it's dark coming back at night, little street light. The lodge do provide torches though.

It does not deserve the 3 stars it has been given due to the staff. Staff is super lazy, they don't check on anything and they don't clean. The young er guy is nice an friendly. Beds are super hard, couldn't sleep. Made 2 seperate bookings, total of 9 nights. Asked if I could shorten my stay, but that was no option. He showed me some other beds rhat were are rock hard. Ended up putting foam blocks and thebpillow from the sunbeds under my sheets. There was no coffee or tea or soap available. No handsoap and the bottles of shampoo etc were all empty. Switched to a room with bath later. The bed was better, but they didn't clean. There was poop under the toilet seat...looked like someone had diarrea there and it hand't been cleaned for a while. The bed sheets were not changed, i told him to change it, because its gross, then he asked ik heb could do the blanket tomorrow...what the? NO!! Then he told me that if something is wrong i should till him earlier, now it is late...-.- yes dude j wanted to go to bed too...but hey maybe change it in the first place so i do not gave to ask? Then i had some days coffee some days not, the battery from the airco remote was empty. There seemed to be no tv remote. I looked for it to change the batteries bur there was none. They also do not clean the floor. There had been a dead cocktoach for a couple of days untill i switched room and the gecko poop from the gecko livng above my toilet piled up. Big layer of dust on the mosquito net. Food is also not great (tried the first day, got halfb a lime dried out....just cut of the slice, but don't serve it to you customers like that..this hotel would have been so much better if the staff put in a little more effort. :( also they put 2 dogs on the chain seperate from each other all day long. They are bored and full of energy they can't lose because the are stuck to this short chain. I don't understand why they do not let them roam around like all the other dogs out there

Das Resort war super schön und ruhig. Wir waren 5 Tage dort und würd jederzeit wieder zurück kommen. Die Bungalows sind um den Pool herum angeordnet sauber und sehr gemütlich. Das Bad war sehr angenehm und im abgetrennten privaten Außenbereich untergebracht. Extremes Urlaubfeeling ist Vorprogrammiert. Alles war sehr sauber und wurde jeden Tag gereinigt. Auf der eigenen Terrasse ist neben den beiden Sitzmöglichkeiten die Hängematte der beste Platz -ever- zum relaxen. Der Pool ist groß, sauber und sehr cool. Egal zu welcher Tageszeit ihr dort rein wollt er ist immer erreichbar. Das Personal ist steht bemüht und steht für alle eure Fragen jederzeit zur Verfügung. Da es keine festen Essenszeiten gibt könnt Ihr jederzeit Frühstücken. Oder euch was bringen lassen. Für alle die, die selber kochen wollen ist die Küche extrem gut ausgestattet und macht spaß darin zu kochen. Wenn Ihr etwas benötigt oder vermisst, wird schnell und unkompliziert geholfen. Wie haben dort keine Roller gemietet aber die Roller die ich gesehen habe haben alle einen sehr vernünftigen Eindruck gemacht. Auf unsere Frage einen Regenschutz zu bekommen hat man uns auch dabei schnell 2 passende Überzieher zur Verfügung gestellt. Wir sind nur sehr ungern wieder gefahren und sind uns sicher das wieder zurück kommen werden. Super Resort mit SUPER Personal. Danke! The resort was super nice and quiet. We were there for 5 days and would come back anytime. The bungalows are arranged around the pool clean and very cozy. The bathroom was very pleasant and located in the separate private outdoor area. Extreme vacation feeling is pre-programmed. Everything was very clean and cleaned every day. On the private terrace, in addition to the two seating options, the hammock is the best place -ever- to relax. The pool is large, clean and very cool. Countryside resort”
I stayed here with my family during the Tet holiday for 4 days, and it was an interesting experience. The location is acceptable, not too far from Dong Duong town, and other tourist places like Vin Wonder, Safari, etc. The room is nice and cozy, it's the countryside so it is very green and quiet, you can truly rest here. Amazing pool with very clear water (as in the picture). Mostly my neighbor was foreigner. The receptionist is friendly and very helpful. Will come back when traveling to Phu Quoc island again.

My mistake in picking the wrong location for this trip to Phu Quoc without careful research. If you would like to enjoy nature and stay away from chaotic city life, you might like this bungalow. This location is far from literally everywhere else (even with a scooter, and a taxi costs a fortune here as well). My room looks exactly like the photo (only in the smaller size because the wide-angle photos gonna trick you like other accommodation services). Hygiene is unacceptable, or maybe I did not get used to the bungalow style. All surface was covered in a thin layer of dust. I will understand if the bathroom (which was exposed to the outdoor area) has dust, but inside of the closet, on the vanity table, on the drawer next to the bed, literally everywhere possible. I emailed asking whether they could assist with a surprise for my anniversary celebration and got a confirmation from them. When I check-in, the room has just finished cleaning, the bathroom floor is wet, and of course, no setup was prepared. Be careful when choosing a scooter to rent here because of the low quality. I almost got myself into an accident with the brake in one of their scooters but luckily I got help from the locals.

Lovely and accomodating hosts, made our stay very pleasant - quite easy to find once you know! A little bit southwest from the Google maps marker. They provided a lovely (and very cost-effective) airport transfer and had plenty of delicious coconuts filled with water for us to purchase (again very reasonably priced). Would happily recommend!

Island Lodge is set in a quiet area off the main road, about 10 minutes out of the main city. Excellent size family room, clean, but some areas need a little TLC. Staff friendly and helpful. limited food option, reasonable sized swimming pool. Some of the greenery further back needs trimming. Lots of shops/restaurants near by on the main road. Motor cycles for hire (required). Ong Lang Beach, a few minutes by motorcycle, small beach, gets busy late afternoon with locals when the sun isn't as hot. I would stay here again, recommend it you want a quiet place and don't mind riding the motorcycle to get about
