What a Great Find!”
Friendly staff, great facilities (for a hostel), everything clean and a great location in Hanmer Springs. What more could you ask for. We went back for a second stay later in our holiday.

Great location & Price”
Stayed here for one night in a private room. It came with a heater which heated the whole room which is perfect in winter. Such a good price for a room here and only a couple minutes walk into town. Will definitely stay here again.

Ideal location, very clean, and good value for money”
We took the double bedroom with bathroom. We were happy to have TV in the room. The place overall was very clean, even the shared kitchen and lounge. We enjoyed our downtime watching Netflix in the lounge. It is walking distance to the hot pools, grocery, and restaurants. It's cheaper than getting a motel.

Lovely stay, right on the edge of town with everything you need from a fully equipped kitchen to bikes for hire. Staff were lovely and we loved the wood fireplace! Will definitely be back!

Perfect other than the beds ”
This is a wonderful facility, clean and tidy, really well cared for, great kitchen area, tv/relaxing areas, lovely people, nice decor but and I’m sad there is a but, the mattresses or lack there or are what let it down and mean unfortunately I wouldn’t stay again, as it was a foam mattress that was maybe 10-15cm thick, with a topper, which being pregnant and not a petite lady, meant I woke every 1-2 hours with sore lower back and hips. I even went and slept on the lazy boy in the hallway for a few hours just to try and get some sleep. If they had proper mattresses I would almost stay here every single time I was in Hanmer as otherwise can’t fault it. My partner is a runner and very light and can usually sleep on anything and even said it wasn’t that comfortable although he slept better than me still. Other than mattresses though everything else is fantastic!!

The window in toilet was clear glass no curtain. The only place to fill the jug was in the bathroom and they say it's a kitchen at.
