Amazing little piece of paradise”
Our stay here was amazing. The apartment was perfectly comfortable for our small family, and the view and private lawn out front made it feel luxurious. The beach is literally at the doorstep and the shallow, calm water is perfect for kids. The staff also were what made this stay special. They were attentive and kind and helped us with anything we could need. There is a restaurant on the premises that we didn't even know about but ended up eating there every night. The menu was surprisingly extensive for such a small place and the food we ordered, including vegetarian, was delicious. We will definitely be coming back.

We spent 10 amazoning days in this hotel. Pha and Mali are so sweet, so available to answer our questions or need. Service is great and cleaning of room just perfect. The hotel is calm. Villa with private swimming pool are so cool. The atmosphere of the hotel is top for familly. We recommend this hotel 100%. The Thai manager of the hotel is a good guy Who supported us every time needed. Food is great and pancakes in the morning are so goooood. Thanks the all team for having us offering such a Nice time in this hotel.

The hotel is very clean and the location is nice and calm, right on the beach. We chose golden suite and had a feeling of staying in a private beach villa. Service is great and the staff is really attentive. Good value for money. Strongly recommended

Wonderful place to relax for as long as you can get away .. everything great from friendly staff.. location.. rooms.. food.. it's all good. I hope it stops raining long enough for me to try the little par 3 golf course here and go kayaking in the bay.. those activities will be some nice icing on the holiday cake. Scott

My stay at Little Sunshine was amazing! The staff were so kind, the room was lovely, and the location was incredible. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for something quiet and peaceful. My room had a wonderful view of the sea and was very clean & comfortable. There isn't much around there in the way of restaurants & shops, but that was perfect for me—you can walk up and down the beach, go out on a kayak, or walk about 20 minutes to a 7-Eleven (the hotel is also happy to arrange a trip if you don’t want to walk). The bay is very calm and clean and lovely to swim in—at certain times of the day you can see little fish. The included breakfast is good (and big!) and I had several dinners at the resort, which were all good (and reasonably priced). Everyone on staff was very friendly and very helpful. I was only sad I had to leave! If I’m in Koh Chang again, I’ll definitely stay at Little Sunshine.

Ideal if you really want to get away from it all”
Lovely little place, overlooking a beautiful quiet beach. Nice, clean room. Slightly smaller than other places we've stayed in Thailand but we still loved it. Really lovely friendly and helpful staff. Great little pool and garden overlooking the beach. A great location if you really want to get away from it all. There are no shops or restaurants/bars in the area, except for the few other restaurants/bars that are part of the Siam Royal View resort. There were a couple of restaurants outside the main gate, although we didn't try them. The Little Sunshine restaurant was lovely - great food and cocktails with a beautiful view. A short walk along the beach took us to Shambala bar - great cocktails, lovely pool and beach cricket.

Excellent service in 5 star location ”
Great staff, very attentive and helpful. Perfect location on beach. Great facilities: Pool, restaurant, coffee machine in room, well stocked kitchen in our room to cook if you want. Can help you with anything you need. kayaking, fishing, day trips etc, disc golf, golf. We stayed at a very quiet time of year, proximity to other villas close so noise in busy season may be an issue. I would 100% recommended and we will stay again.

Solo retreat in peaceful place ”
As a solo traveler at the time, I was looking for a nice quiet place on the beach and Little Sunshine not only provided for my needs but completely exceeded expectations! I booked the Queen size bedroom with ocean view just for myself. Kata the manager is here to welcome you and explain the facilities and you can always come to him for information or if you want to book an activity. Pa offers a fresh orange juice, which was real nice after the trip to the island. The bedroom is confortable, not too big but the size and smootheness of the bed is enough, with a plater of fruits and free bottles of water provided every day in the little fridge. The little houses/rooms have roofs the shape of tents which makes for a high ceiling bedroom that lets in lots of natural light which is very pleasant. The bathroom is large and the shower too. Shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, towels of every size, everything is there ! The staff lets you choose if you want the towels and bedsheets to be changed on a daily basis or not as Little Sunshine cares for the environment. The beach is literally 6 meters from the room. It's a long white sandy beach of about 1,5km, with swings hanging from coconut trees here and there. The other hotels and accomodations along the beach are also part of the Royal Siam Complex where Little Sunshine resides. It's mostly rents for families or friends gathering. But it's chosen for it's peaceful atmosphere. No heavy music or night clubs over here. Two or three bars-restaurants that offer thai and western meals and seafood of course! The water is clear, so so clear and warm that I actually never wanted to go in one of the two swimming pools, even though they looked really nice. There's a 7-eleven about 15mn a walk, or 2mn on scooter from the hotel, as well as restaurants and local shops if you're looking for fresh fruits and local food. Beautiful beach location with sunset views”
The hotel and accommodation were clean and well presented. The breakfast is served far too late not starting until 8am and then the service is slow and disorganised so you have to wait a long time to get it all at the same time. The hotel is located on a lovely beach but not not much to do unless you get a taxi and venture out. Every guest had problems upon arrival because it is badly sign posted and none of the taxi drivers could find it. There are a couple of local restaurants outside of the hotel which serve much better food.

A very special place”
Little Sunshine Resort is on a beautiful, clean horseshoe shaped beach and is just the most lovely, peaceful holiday destination. We spent a week here and have come home with batteries recharged and ready to get on with life. The rooms are comfortable, decent shower, a/c etc and the restaurant serves delicious Thai food but it's the staff who really make this place. They are such a special team of caring, gentle, amusing people and I send them all a huge 'thank you!'

Perfect getaway”
This place is a little gem located inside a residential resort. Absolutely beautiful beach and area. Inside the area is a small but fun golf course, there is a pool on site and access to a much bigger pool 100 m away. There is also a very cool pool/beach bar in very close proximity also inside the resort. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is good and prices are fine. You will need a scooter to get around to find more restaurants and bars, and it is probably not the best place if you want to party later in the night. But for families and couples who want to relax the place is absolutely perfect in my opinion. If I come back to the island, I will definitely stay here again.

Little paradise”
I think this place comes close to paradise on earth. Wonderful and calm location. A very warm welcome, nice staff, excellent facilities and very nice food for a very reasonable price. In the evening the tables are covered with linen and romantic lights. In the morning you will be surprised by a lovely breakfast. We just stayed for one day, but next time it will be definitely longer!

I was a little apprehensive about being in a large development, whether there would be freedom to move about. No such worries. The beach is open end to end. Gorgeous, clean sand. The water is shallow and can walk 50m into the ocean in low tide, so ocean swimming isn't really an option. On the other hand, it would seem safe for children to wade in without being worried about them. Bottom line, if I come back to Koh Chang, I would be happy to stay here again.

I traveled with my wife to Koh Chang for our honeymoon in February. We intended to stay for 6 nights and move on but extended for another 6 nights. Positives;- We booked a paradise room which is small, but has a large bathroom and quality sea view. Our room was cleaned well daily. The breakfast was a good standard, there was free use of the hotel kayak, you can use the large swimming pool at the next door hotel, there is free bottled water in the rooms, a laundry service (which is cheap and arrives the next day). The manager was very accommodating, relaxed, friendly and gave us a lift into White Sand Beach of an evening. All in all it is an excellent beach location – very peaceful and relaxing. Agree with positive reviews. The garden area is nice, there is no fighting for sun beds and it is totally chilled out. Just what we needed. Ping the ginger cat also kept us entertained. Negatives;- The hotel needs to publish useful information for guests on services as we only found out certain things by previous reviews and word of mouth. Be prepared as it is a remote location and if like us you need more activity in the evening, then a taxi is 400-500 TBH for a one way trip. It is only a 15 minute journey, but this is over a mountain. However, we thought the excellent location more than made up for this. Hotel restaurant – found the menu limited in the evenings. Although the food was nice, you may not want to eat there every night and there are limited other viable options in the area. Overall, you will not be disappointed, it was a privilege to stay in such a nice location and I would love to come back in the future.

We can always find a 'BUT' when writing a review, well if you are looking for an idyllic location, superb views, lovely beach, classy room, superb staff...this is it.... without any 'buts' ( If you are looking for nightlife, busy bars, music this is not for you ). Loved our short stay at 'Little Sunshine' and will be back. Couldn't get better for a relaxing time, just superb.
