Nice place”

This is a nice place. Clean, comfortable, nice facilities, great breakfast. To clarify, however, the location is good if you have a car. If you don't, or you have a motorcycle, you're much better off staying somewhere near the main street in Kenting. The location is near a beach but not right at it. You can't see the sea from your window. It's good enough for me but do adjust your expectations. Other than that, it is very nice

Very good stay here again. No complaints. Visitors to this area would be well-advised to rent a scooter from Henchun or Kenting before going because the local taxis are extortionately expensive. The breakfast was an improvement on last time, but the lack of afternoon or evening food options is why I've given 3/5 for food. Otherwise the room was very clean, the staff were polite and friendly and the location is excellent for spending the day on Baisha beach. While I feel this hotel is deserving of an extra half a star rating, I would say the price is about right.

Very nice, peaceful hotel, not far from beach”

This is a very nice little retreat with friendly staff, a short walk from the lovely Baisha Beach. The room was clean, very comfortable bed, nice outdoor relaxing area and friendly staff. The only drawback was the food, it wasn't great. But there is plenty of good food available at the Happy Panda camping resort, not far away.

Great place, perfect location, clean, calm, nice breakfast. Highly recommended”

We stayed there for 5 nights in total (couple, and mom with baby) We totally would stay there again if we ever come back to Taiwan. 1. the rooms were clean, spacious and each one with an own veranda. (with all the common comfort like fridge, ac etc.) 2. the staff was really nice, spoke fluent english which was helpful for us as our chinese is very poor. They recommended us a really nice restaurant called Bossa Nova. The food was amazing. 3. good western breakfast, which we really appreciated after several weeks in Asia 4. the most beautiful beach in Taiwan (according to us) is just across the street. The beach doesn ´t have any shade but there are umbrellas to rent. 5. you should have a car as in Baisha itself there is not much (no 7eleven, not a lot of possibilities to eat etc.) We really enjoyed the calmness and the walking distance to the beach there and didnt mind driving a bit at all. 6. Its a hostel, your room doesnt get cleaned automatically everyday. But you can ask for it.

Great Location”

This is a simple room with basically a couple of beds, a TV, an air conditioner, and a bathroom. The room and bathroom were very clean and it looks like the rooms are regularly painted. This is a great place to stay if you want to spend most of your time at the beach. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach from your room's door. The staff were very nice, and the breakfast was fantastic. It was a mixture between Western and Taiwanese and the staff cooked your plate when you arrived so it was very fresh. The room itself was a little bit expensive for what you get, but it was nice to have a clean room so close to the beach. We would stay here again for sure.

Beautiful getaway near the beach with friendly hosts”

The hostel is beautifully constructed and the rooms are nice and cozy. The location is in a quiet forested area in walking distance of the gorgeous Baisha beach. While there was only one set option for breakfast, it was hot to order, which was a plus. I would definitely recommend this place for couples and those who have their own transportation. For those without their own scooter or car, this location can be difficult to get to (but the Biasha beach bus stop is in walking distance) and taxi service can be quite costly (400 NT to Nanwan Bay). Foreigners should bear in mind that international driver's licenses must include a motorcycle license to rent a scooter in Kenting (which was a shock to us, as we had no problem renting scooters all around Taiwan previously).

Summer Lovin”

Where it is, is where it's at. Just a stoned skipper's hop away from Baisha Beach - one of the best beaches in southeast Asia. Staff will go the extra kilometer. Bed, comforter, pillow - like sleeping on a cloud. Quiet, wifi, cool grounds where you can play croquet if you have the mallets. Shower and bath, standard - but the rest, is to be loved.

Simple and nice hotel in good location”

Overall a pleasant stay in Kenting. We arrived very late, but the staff was flexible and let us in. The room was clean and orderly. Recommend for people who spend their days outside and want to come back for evening. Location is next to the beach, yet restaurants are not close by.

Perfect name for the place”

Lovely owners who spoke good English and provided great customer service, going beyond by helping us look at train times and organising taxis. The room was lovely and spacious, quaint decor and colours. Nice garden at the back with a couple of swings. You can conviently rent electric scooters which are great for exploring the area. The beach is much quieter than the others nearby and only a 3/4 min walk. It's also has food and drink at the beach. We would return to this accommodation :)
