To whom it may concern: I am writing this detailed letter with regards to the booking of ,,,Baan Pak Lung Teeb Paradise Resort in Chaolao beach, Chantaburi Thailand. Following my overnight bus journey from Nong Khai in the north east of Thailand to Bangkok and then another 4 hour bus journey to Chantaburi, my wife and I arrived in Chantaburi at approximately 11.30 am Wed 20th of April. Upon arrival I asked a taxi driver to take us to the resort. He could not speak any English so he brought me into the lady that works in the bus station, she could speak a little English. After showing the lady the details of the resort , I phoned the resort so that she could speak to the woman who answered the phone (in Thai). When they finished talking, the lady in the bus station said the woman had said to her that the resort was closed. I assumed that this was simply a matter of misunderstanding as I tried to tell her " surely it's not possible " as I had just booked what appeared to be the last room a couple of days previous. With the details of the location as per the address in the property location button on booking.com the taxi driver drove me to that location which just appeared to be a lot of fish farms with no sign of the resort to be seen. Again I called the resort and spoke to the lady in the resort, the only English that she spoke to me was that her son had gone away somewhere , so I asked the taxi driver to speak with her. When he finished talking with her and gave my phone back to me I tried to speak with her again but all I heard was the woman screaming in Thai ( not at me , I think) before she eventually hung up the phone. So again the taxi driver turned the car around and drove back down the road for a couple of miles before arriving at a resort that resembles the photo of the one in Booking.com . Again I called the number for the resort and let the taxi driver speak to her.

Language is big issue. They were not able to understand english.

It was clean

The garden feels as a parking/clamping ground. Our Thai neighbours actually camped there. Nice people. They promised free bikes but charged 200 bath. Same price as a motorbike elsewhere. Greedy owner. We left after one day stayed at Baan nam, half price, double quality and location
