Good spot for a home base”

Good beach, kite surfing school right next store. A good food market a 10 minute walk away. Stayed here for the full moon, prices were higher than normal but that’s how it goes around that time of the month. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Great little resort”

We had our own bungalow on the beach with amazing views! The room itself was very basic. The staff were amazing and very accommodating to any needs and the pool was lovely!!

Our first stop in Phangan and it was great - right on the beach and with friendly and helpful staff, and a great breakfast. The help we received was exactly what we needed upon arrival. Really nice little resort spot.

A little slice of heaven”

While there are prettier beaches on the island, and nicer places to stay, I found Macs to be wonderful and quite charming. The staff are incredibly nice, patient, and accommodating. That's what did it for me.

Really nice place! The WiFi kind of sucked but everything else was beautiful! The pool was amazing! The staff was not super friendly, but they did what was expected of them. Not many smiles however

Pros Great location for the beach Nice bar and pool Cons Check your timings don't clash with the beach party. Goes on until 6am right outside the resort.

The place is gorgeous, so clean. the restaurant food is lovely and the owner "MAC" is so nice. he organise's everything for you and nothing is trouble for him.

On beach resort ”

Very plesent, clean, comfy, right on beach. Beautiful views and surroundings for a very good price. Restaurant at resort, easy access to shops and taxi services at resort too. Very convieniant and staff were very friendly and helpful.

It was a perfect location for the full moon party as it was only a ten min taxi ride and quiet to chill out after, nice pool nice beach view, rooms modern!! Very happy!!

Overall I enjoyed my stay at Mac's bay resort. Only cost 100 baht to get the taxi into baan tai to all the party's, pubs, clubs & shops. A nice place to retreat from partying too hard lol.

Had a lovely stay at macs bay resort. The staff are lovely and very welcoming. Lovely resteraunt right by the beach with lovely food! Dont have any complaints would definately reccomend this place and would love to go back in the future.

stayed at a non arcon bungalow. it was hot during my stay but fortunately the breeze was awesome....nice place,relaxing and quiet.

the hotel was ok but it's price is way higher than it should be. the room was good. only downside is it had many mosquitos.

the second day we where told to be out that room for 11 oclock to change to the room we had arridginley booked only to be sat in reception for another 2 hours while our room was being cleaned. the second room was no better the sheets although clean where stained and the drain was blocked which we asked to be unblocked and never was and we where there 4 days. also the amount of dogs walking around the resort is not good you could not sit on the balcony for 2 mins without 1 or 2 dogs coming on it wanting food.
