The people of Sri Lanka are very nice and welcoming in general, they are honest and friendly. The staffs of Marino beach Colombo are no different. They are very nice, kind and guest-friendly. The female receptionist and others were very kind to give us a room with a better view of the sea upon request. The room and everything else is neat and clean. Nice bathroom fittings with an automated blind curtain. The room has a touch of aesthetics to make anyone’s stay here a memorable experience. On top of that, guests here get unlimited access to the infinity pool, garden, and Jacuzzi. The Food Emporium and Marino Mall with the VR Park can make life easy, especially if you are traveling with kids. The food emporium has excellent Local, Indian, Western food. Price of food is reasonable. Also, the view of the sea is excellent from there. You can smoke at the pool, at the balcony of your hotel room, and at the restaurants of the food emporium. Do taste the tea in the restaurant. It’s excellent!

Best Hotel - Word Class”
I stayed in this hotel in December 2019 for 7 nights. I really enjoyed this hotel very much. Wonderful clean safe friendly hotel to stay. Excellent Wifi. This hotel sure deserve the 5*. Best for relaxing in the rooftop with nice views and tasty food (2nd floor restaurant - must try their morning breakfasts or diners). Really appreciate how they make me feel like home. The service was perfect, friendly staff and always happy to help. Extremely recommended!!! - Rooms were very chic and super CLEAN. Front desk staffs were very professional and friendly. I would love to say thanks to every one who works at this hotel - the room service, laundry (I forgot the name of this young man who picked up my clothes 3 times and brought them back to me) Hotel Driver - Janaka: I hired a hotel car to visit Colombo while I was there - Driver name was Janaka. He was super friendly and kind. Always there to help with a big smile. Air Conditioned, clean car. I sure enjoyed it.

The services were really good, very clean, we could feel the neatness and extra caring. Appreciable to located in the sea side. Inside the hotel atmosphere is really awesome from the lobby to the infinity rooftop amazing pool. The room was much comfortable, super clean with nice facilities and the best sea view. Huge selection at the breakfast buffets. The staffs were very helpful, friendly manner, polite and eager to help especially Ramshid and Sajeevan.. We enjoy our stay without any single complaint from start to finish. They made our stay really pleasant. Perfect from every angle. Highly recommend for outstanding value. Nothing was there to dislike

A contemporary style new hotel in the heart of Colombo ”
This hotel is conveniently located to just about anywhere in Colombo. Large structure adjoining the Marino Mall and has an entrance through the hotel to the mall. Rooms are very spacious and each bathroom has it's separate shower and bathtub. Service was prompt and efficient from room service to housekeeping. Food was tasty and well presented. Outlets too are varied and there is access to their food court which also has several smaller food outlets. Beautiful infinity pool on the rooftop is their most outstanding feature which has panoramic views of the city and the sea. Thank you for a lovely, comfortable stay.

This hotel was great, from the welcome in the lobby to the smooth check-in process. The room I got (deluxe with a partial view) was amazing and quite comfortable. All facilities within the hotel are great, the infinity pool is a standout, all food outlets are very good (breakfast was excellent!). I was greatly surprised by the quality of the gym, lots of different machines and good environment. Overall, I would definitely be booking this hotel again when back in Colombo for either business or leisure. Ps. and added extra, the shopping mall in the lower levels was great!

We chose the hotel because of the value for money. I think its fair to say that the hotel over delivered in terms of all its facilities. Great, smooth check-in! Brilliant spacious room with clean toilets and well draining shower toilets (if you know what I mean) Sumptuous breakfast spread! Polite staff And the POOL! Massive, Brilliant view and clean! And also great value for money Dinner options as well. Highly recommended

Over all rating SUPERB. 5 STARS RIGHT AWAY. Fabulous location right on the seashore with breathtaking view from the TIDES restaurant. The swimming pool on the tenth floor is just awesome. Breakfast varieties were good. Alacarte menu items did not taste that nice - needs some improvement. Rooms were impeccably clean and the staff were polite and helpful.

The Hotel was very clean and location was fantastic as was close to all shopping centres. Buffet breakfast was awesome & rooftop swimming pool was sensational. The only issue here is you need to get there early to get a lounge chair. Issue I had was that we did not get a welcome drink on arrival and other people did get one. Also to lock the door to ypur room you need to slam it really hard or else it just beeps and this was annoying.

Fantastic Value for the price”
The rooms are just brilliant. Each room has a balcony and a partial sea view. Everything from furniture, decor, curtains, lamps to even the light switches are of a high quality and are a joy to use. The bathroom is decked out with almost everything you might need from a bathtub, a shaving mirror, a touch activated light on the main mirror, a stow-away clothesline, shower and all toiletries. Another nice touch is the speaker inside the toilet and the glass wall that let you watch and hear the TV while soaking in the tub. The breakfast spread was fantastic too. All in all, this stay was just wonderful and I would definitely visit again.

5 Stars Hotel with 180 sea view sky pool and perfect sunset”
5 stars hotel, location nice, not in the city area but close to, so bit quite. The sunset bar and sky pool were superb. You couldnt miss the view on the rooftop, the sunset and train passing beach line. The room with balcony. Toilet facilities high ended and clean.

Top notch 5 star experience for 3 star price. Room was comfortable, big, and luxurious. Big tv with hbo. Infinity pool is the highlight and watching the sunset is the thing to do here. Customer service was top notch. Breakfast buffet was worth the money. Dinner buffet was average. Mini fridge stocked with snacks at no cost.

Rooms facing the ocean, big and clean rooms, free minibar, rooftop infinity pool, jacuzzi and hot tub, friendly staff, located next to a mall and within minutes drive to Galle Face Green. 5 stars + double thumbs up! Would like to give special mention to Fiona from the front desk or reception, she was wonderful!

Great hotel in convenient location. The rooftop pool is spectacular. The rooms and extremely spacious and clean. Attached to the mall so easy to get to an ATM etc. Staff are very polite and helpful. Easy to get a Tuk Tuk or taxi from outside (although arrange this yourself as the hotel travel desk is overpriced). I would definitely stay here again.

Very clean throughout. Very helpful friendly staff. Great position. Nice pool and park area on roof. Rooms were very nice, spacious, comfy beds. The breakfast choice was great for westerners, Asians alike. Nice outside terrace overlooking the sea for breakfast and sunset too. Highly recommended.

Little oasis in the middle of busy city”
We traveled Sri Lanka for 10 days and stopped in Colombo before our flight to the Maldives. We booked Marino Beach as the pictures looked amazing and the reviews were very positive. However the hotel exceeded all our expectations. The staff were very friendly and always smiling. We were greeted with cold fresh juice on arrival. We had dinner in the Tides restaurant and the food was delicious. There was a big variety and quite a few vegetarian options as well. Of course the best feature was the infinity swimming pool on the 10th floor with the ocean on the background and the beautiful roof garden next to it. The room was cleaned to perfection. There is a quirky glass that divides the bathroom from the bedroom and you can watch the tv while relaxing in the tub. The Marino mall is easily accessible from the hotel lobby. We truly enjoyed our stay in Marino Beach and will definitely book it again if we go to Colombo 😊

really clean: tiny things could be improved but not sure they read these reviews so may not be worth stating....making sure the windows are not marked - it's tiny as I say. Also, make sure there is consistency in the food sent to the rooms. Lovely pool, big enough that you can do lengths in (if its not too busy)!
