Happy family trip”

Travel with Big family and Happiness for all especially for kid they have fun in swimming poll but the beach not so much clean.We stay at Family room (bangalo).The room WiFi was not working inform to the reception but nobody come to fix

Good place for quiet relaxing stay, but busy w/e”

Very pleasant few days stay with good room, balcony and view over sea. Not many foreigners stay and weekends are popular with Thai company sponsored holiday weekends so can be busy although we did not find this an inconvenience. A couple of small beach restaurants within walking distance although to south, however many more available a km or so up the coast to the north. Beach has very shallow gradient so not the best swimming stop in the world but they have kayaks for rent.

Lovely hotel with a great pool”

At first we plan to stay in this hotel only two days but we were so satisfy and stay one day more. The hotel location is very good, rooms are comfortable with nice sea view, the hotel restaurant was good and the staff friendly. We spent very good time by the pool. Only the beach isn´t clean.

Nice room, great view, good service”

too far from chao loa beach, the beach near the hotel too shallow for swimming and the sand not nice, there were no deck chairs or sun umbrellas on the beach. wireless internet didn't work in the room, but could use a pc downstairs near reception for 30mins for free. the pool was great and the staff were friendly, check in and out was quick and easy.

Beach, seafood and slow waves”

The service is great, very clean and fast. the staff are friendly and very helpful. the food is just what you need for a getaway trip where you wanted to eat fresh, restarant quality right next to the ocean. Plus, it had good room service

The room is a bit old but has good location. Hotel located by the sea, children enjoy to make sand castle at the beach.

very nice quiet hotel”

Have been visiting this hotel in june 2016. Very quiet location at the end of chao lao beach, very spacious hotel area, big Swimmingpool. The room on the fourth floor was also very spacious, clean, with a fantastic view of the bay. Staff was very friendly. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful location ”

When we arrived we discovered that the swimming pool was closed. This is a major problem for a family with young children in a place where there are no other facilities - no playground, no playroom and no toys. When it was finally supposed to be ready, it was so dirty that I didn't want the kids in it for their own safety. The breakfast was very average, and the restaurant was expensive, so we didn't try it. The owner was helpful, but unfortunately her staff were not particularly, and could not communicate in even basic English. What can be said without any doubt was that the bungalows on the beach are spectacular. I would highly recommend staying in a bungalow rather than in one of the cheaper options near the pool.

Their staff are lack of training”

When I arrived there are only a few guests stay and I got informed that breakfast will not serve as buffet but you can request more for free. I feel uncomfortable to order more food as they weren't pay attention towards us. So I only ate 1 course if breakfast instead of buffet that I could feel free to pick what I want. Staffs never smile, greeting or attend to you. เวลาแขกเข้าพักน้อย จะไม่เสิร์ฟอาหารเป็นบุฟเฟต์ ตอนเช็คอินพนักงานแจ้งว่าสามารถสั่งเพิ่มได้ตลอด แต่เมื่อถึงเวลา พนักงานไม่สนใจหรือไม่อยู่ให้สั่ง พนักงานไม่ยิ้ม ไม่สนใจ ไม่ทักทาย ทำงานเหมือนไม่เคยถูกอบรมมา สรุปคือ ไม่คุ้ม

Good value hotel”

My wife and I enjoyed this hotel. We booked two days to get the feel of the area and extended another two days. It has a fabulous pool which we enjoyed. The staff were friendly and accommodating even though they had very limited English skills. Quite understandable since the area has mostly Thai tourists. No problems though. We did not eat at the restaurant but a British couple told us it.was.good. Breakfast was fine. Good variety. We had two different rooms, oven view and then the lower floor. We.were there over the New Year and the place was booked so.we had to move downstairs. Manager adjusted the rate for us. Both rooms were good. We had a positive stay at this hotel and would recommend it. The beach is not the greatest but the pool more than makes up for that. We ended up moving to a bungalow further down the strip but the stay at the hotel enabled us to have a stress free four days over the holiday while we explored the area. Would stay here again.

Great location”

We stayed three nights in October - quiet time and we had the place to ourselves. Some of the villa rooms looks tremendous but seem expensive - maybe a good deal for large parties? We had a room in the main hotel - good, clean - beautiful sea view. The surrounding area is great - hire a bike and head down the coast.

Awesome place, unseen paradise nestled in Chantabu”

The hotel staff are quite friendly and they heed our request for another 1 person inside the room - which only caters 3 pas maximum and free flow drinks in the reception area. The free wifi access though is only available at the hotel lobby and other hotel facilities but not inside the room. Not inconvenient to go out the front porch to access free wifi but above all, our stay is excellent and exceeds our expectations.

Worth to pay”

The breakfast is not good due to there is agroup of tourist come fir seminar and we need to have breakfast with them May be the budget for breakfast is not high so food isnot good as expected But if order from the restaurant directly is marvelous

hotel on beach”

Long time ago the hotel might be nice, but it is now running down. Nothing wrong with the room: it is spacious but the amenities, furniture, TV and bathroom are old. Only selling point is a big balcony facing the spectacular view of the sea and cape. Staffs are polite and helpful, but don’t expect anyone speaking English. From main building it is close to swimming pool and beach. Unfortunately breakfast quality is horrible. A warning: people who love nightlife will be disappointed as this is a lovely area for only relax-seekers. The beach is quiet during the week, but will be fully packed with locals in the weekend. Out of the hotel and turn right in a walking distance you will find seafood restaurants on the beach serving delicious local dishes with reasonable price. Out of the hotel turn left you can find more resorts, many shops and restaurants. But you need a car. It is too far to walk in very warm day. Also you can visit (by car) the nearby beaches and aquarium. The road and bicycle-path along this coast is called scenic route. The road is in very good condition. You could enjoy cycling as well in early morning and late afternoon. Don’t try during the day; it’s boiling hot. We enjoy driving car and watching local life and peaceful beaches which are not (yet) disturbed by foreign tourists. Next time we will certainly spend more time on mainland to explore this charming province, Chantaburi.

this is my third visit to the new travel beach resort and it won't be my last! since my last visit the resort looks a bit smarter and they have made a real effort with the breakfast which is now excellent. best kept secret in thailand i reckon.

views forever and what a swimming pool!!”

If you want to get away from the crowds this is the place to go. Midweek you will have the hotel and beach to yourself. Rooms are clean, spacious and quiet. The hotel is looking a bit tired and the staff try hard. The games room was a dissapointment as the pool table and soccer table were not working.Food and drinks are pricey compared to what you can get within a 5 minute walk outside the hotel. The swimming pool is awesome and the buffet breakfast reasonable.

Remote hotel”

The " new" travel hotel is not really all that new to be honest, but despite of a sometimes aged look or furniture it was a good stay there. restaurant and that is a pro since there is not much nearby. We had a car and that was at least to us a must.

Lovely resort for a relaxing Thai-style holiday”

We had an amazing time during our stay in the New Travel Beach Resort. It is very remote from usual touristic destinations and favored by the locals. So it would be a great place to stay if you are looking for a relaxing Thai-style holiday.
