Hotel tranquilo y comodo”
Es la segunda vez que estamos en este hotel y siempre hemos estado muy a gusto. Hay mucha tranquilidad y el desayuno es aceptable, podrían sacarle mucho más provecho a todo el hotel si le dedicarán un poco más de tiempo ya que se encuentra frente al mar. Importante necesitas moto para moverte

Hotel mediocre, ubicación engañosa”
Estuvimos cinco noches en el Penny´s hotel, a la media hora de llegar ya pensamos en cambiar de hotel, con esto casi lo digo todo, pero hay más. Lo venden como situado en white sand beach y no es verdad, de hecho no tiene playa,son unas rocas que hacen inaccesible llegar a una sucia agua. Muy descuidado en sus instalaciones, lo único positivo reseñable es la piscina. El desayuno buffet mejor olvidarlo, no llega al aprobado. El personal es amable pero hablar inglés poquito. La conexión de wifi, sólamente en el bar o si estás alojado en una de las habitaciones aledañas. En conclusión, no recomendaría este hotel.

El hotel no está mal pero la playa no existe es todo piedras, el hotel es tranquilo y bonito con unas habitaciones amplia y limpias, es servicio es amable pero muchas veces fallan en la limpieza de las habitaciones. En general es un hotel agradable y sobre todo muy tranquilo.

El sitio es bonito en primera linea del mar pero no tiene playa por lo que no es posible bañarse. Está lejos del pueblo y necesitas moverte en taxi para todo. Viajamos con una niña de 3 años que rompió un vaso y nos lo hicieron pagar!

Pennys Resort, excellent.”
We just had five days at Pennys resort, my Thai wife and our nine year old son. First impressions were good, the room was spotless, its a few years old but well maintained. The pool water again was very clean and maintained with a lovely view over the ocean, the food in the restaurant also excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will become regulars as we travel all over Thailand as we live here, we will be back.

Good place to stay”
First time I stayed at this Hotel. The staff is very friendly, and helpful. Bungalows are nicely decorated and in good condition. Everything is clean and maintained well. Only downside is the location, as the beach is has mostly rocks. However a great location to watch the sunset. You need a motorbike to get around on the island. Also White Sands Beach area is a few minutes drive. Breakfast buffet is good, but not a huge variety to chose from.

The place is in the middle so convenient if you want to go for North or south of islands, but better rent a bike, i like the swimming pool and the sunset view from the swimming pool every day is amazing. Really good place to chill. The stuff are friendly. The breakfast is ok, not the best but not bad. Room condition is clean and there's a nice bar near by if you like to enjoy live music i totally recommend this resort

This was a great place that was right on the ocean hearing the waves crashing into the beach was very therapeutic the only problems I had was the bed was a little uncomfortable

The worker couldn't speak english but it was okay. We were 5people and he kindly allow us to stay in the biggest room. The location is right next to beach and they have swimming pool either. There were some bugs in the room but it was okay.

Dear Robert We had very special room rates during this renovation period.You also booked a 3 days extension by us...not really clear for what if you complain it now in 2 reviews. Seems some people really not to understand

What a great place this is. The attention to detail & efforts to make sure guests are happy is far more than you would expect from a Budget Resort. Even the Buffet Breakfast was very clean, fresh & a far cry from the bread, rolls & jam at many Breakfast Included places. Would highly recommend Penny's for your stay on Koh Chang.

ive stayed at pennys many times. its peaceful and relaxing. just outside main resort..staff helpful and kept very clean. highly recomended.

Nice quiet resort in a decent location ”
An older facility that hasn’t been updated recently (tube TV in 2020) but it’s maintained well has a nice staff and nice layout. It’s locared in a quiet are but not far from most anything you’d want. Lacks a sand beach but the pool is nice.

The rooms are clean and well equipped, the staff is friendly and helpfull, the place has a pool with sea view. But one cannot swim at the beach (only rocks). It is also not possible to walk at the beach (for example to other restaurants in the evening or so). If you chose that place, better come with motor bike.
