cuando llegamos había algunos bungalows q todavía estaban sin acabar. al de nuestros hijos les faltaba el aire acondicionado pero en una hora lo solucionaron mientras nos invitaban a un te. a los 2 días negociamos el precio y nos rebajó. aunque habitualmete no cocinaban un día que había una tormenta muy fuerte y no podíamos salir nos preparó la cena. te proporcionaban información sobre la isla y te ofrecían excursiones a buen precio. el servicio de masajes que tenían calidad precio era bueno. la dueña era encantadora..

Beautiful gardens and on the beach”

We recently stayed at Phu Quoc Kim Bungalow On The Beach for a week. It is in an excellent location- close to great restaurants and shops. Very quiet at night. We enjoyed sitting on the deck outside our room. Lovely to walk down the hibiscus lined path to the beach. Great breakfast and friendly and helpful staff.

Fabulous little place in Phu Quoc”

Perfectly located on Long Beach in Phu Quoc. Owners are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. My reservation I made with Agoda git cancelled. By mistake. So when we arrived they had no reservation or payment. The showed us 2 different rooms! Then told us just to pick one and we could have room now and worry bout details later. We stayed a few steps from the amazing beach and restaurant. The included breakfast had plenty of great choices. And so delicious every time. Beer is cheap. Rooms very clean and housekeeping staff are wonderful. Scooter rental on site and the scooter was the newest model I’d rented in Vietnam. It was modern and well maintained. All in all it’s a great place. We’re alresdy planning our trip back. Oh and the massage tables (on right as you enter the beach from the bungalows ) are great. Highly recommend. We also ate fruit and baked goods for sale on beach and everything was amazing.

Great family getaway and beach at your doorstep”

The owners and staff are lovely here. We had a great time. This is not 5 stars here! The beds are quite comfortable and rooms cleaned daily. The breakfast here is great. Christoph (owner) has a french partisserie and produces a range of pasteries, tarts and icecream/sorbet that always satisfy. It is close to village shops and fresh local seafood restaurants The mosquitos and sand flies were quite bad and repellant was a must have. The bathroom is a wet area and is very slippery particularly for children as the shower toilet and basin share the same space with central drainage. There were day beds at the beach anf it seemed one of the best sections of beach as it was quiet and no noisy bars. Perfect for family

Clean, comfortable and Right on the Beach ”

WiFi was decent. Staff was helpful. Rooms were clean. AC worked well. Bed was comfortable. Near restaurants and shops, but still peaceful. I travel full time and switch locations often. My only complaint would be that the beach had too many jelly fish and that’s not the Hotel’s fault. Pleasant stay overall.

AMAZING”

I had pretty high expectations before I came to Phu Quoc and Kim Bungalow hotel. I have to say, this was beyond my expectations. Amazing hotel! I got the room next to the beach, and right outside my door there was a restaurant which served free breakfast with a lot of variety on the menu. The staff are super friendly, helpful and hardworking people. The beach is clean and there’s plenty of sun beds you can use. Definitely not to crowded on the beach and not too little people either, just a perfect amount, haha. I LOVED staying here. The rooms are clean and nice and you have many restaurants in the area to choose between. I’m recommending this hotel to anyone visiting Phu Quoc. I doubt you’ll be disappointed. Next time I’m going here I’ll stay at Kim Bungalow for sure! I felt like I was living like a queen for one week, haha. It’s a paradise for real.

Perfect value for money in the area ”

Located directly at the beach. Very convenient. Owner/reception Kim speak English French and Vietnamese so no communication barrier and very very friendly. The only contact I can think of is the shower. It's located between toilet and sink so very slippery. But if you ask for an additional trowel to put on groun problem solved. The location is surrounded with cafe's . shops and restaurants. Motorbike rental is next door too. I planned to stay 4 days but at the end after checking out several hotels I stayed 12 days. I definetly recommend this place and I will return for sure

One of the last hotels left on the beach”

Because Phu Quoc Kim is one of the last hotels on the beach not being renervated it has a monopoly on beach front living. The rooms were OK as was breakfast, their bar is gone, the beach out front is reasonably clean. I appeared to lose some money whilst staying there,can't point finger at anyone buy all of a sudden I had money but not one dong in my wallet.

highly recommend. We were lucky enough to stay in the only beach side bungalow, 10 steps to the water,rooms are basic but clean and well serviced, staff are very friendly and most spoke English which is hard to find in Vietnam, food was good but basic, there are plenty of restaurants close by on the beach and lanes that get to bungalows( dont go to Arcadia next door it was the worst meal of our 2 week holiday. you can hire bikes at the property at good rates

Feel like cheated”

I booked the standard double room and got big surprise when checking room. Hotel requests to pay addition VND 100,000 per day for using air conditioning of the room, otherwise the room only available with fan!!! When I booked the hotel, there was nothing to say that I have to pay extra for using air con. It's hidden cost. That makes me feel like cheated although the amount is very small.

Simple, friendly, beautiful location”

This is a simple set of bungalows directly on the beach. The owners are extremely helpful and friendly. The bedroom and bathroom are simple and adequate and clean. Breakfast was good. The French bakery outside on the lane is part of the same family and does delicious croissants, almond tarts etc. The little restaurant next door was the best we found. We would definitely go back there and recommend to anyone who just wants a relaxing beach break.

WE Are a young couple - travelled a lot around Vietnam and just wanted to relax for some days. Phu quoc is not cheap like the mainland but the bungalows are clean cosy and very quiet so it was really worth it. Just 10 m to the beach - bars and restaurants around. The hotel has its own French bakery - we miss it!

Nice, small family resort on the beach”

We loved our 6 nights stay at Phu Quoc Kim Bungalow On The Beach (triple a/c room) and would definitely stay there again. The location is great, right on the beach, not far from the Duong Dong town (about 2,5 km). Bungalows are basic, clean, towels were changed every day + separate beach towels. The restaurant, also on the beach, serves very good food, especially fish dishes and pho soup were my favorites, and the prices are very reasonable. The owner, Kim, is very kind and helpful. She arranged us taxis, sightseeing and fishing and snorkeling tours and gave us lots of useful information.

Great view”

The long stretch of beach is literally in your backyard. Just 20 steps away from your room, even their breakfast are served on the beach. The staff are helpful if you can find them. Most of the time, they are not at the receptionist desk but rather at their lodgings across the road. I don't know whether this is a norm in Phu Quoc but electricity gets cut off twice a day. Other than that it was a nice stay.

we had a unforgettable 3 days at this place. our room is right by the beach. like 10 seconds you can see the sea. the staff and reception and restaurant were very nice and kind to us. a free house wine surprised us for my friend's birthday. the breakfast by the beach was diverse. I just kept drinking red Saigon from sunrise to sunset at the beach. definitely highly recommended. the beach is quiet at night, no any recreation.

Great Location on Long Beach”

We stayed in the deluxe bungalow right on the beach...I'm sure it was the closest accommodation to the beach on all of Long Beach! We had a private patio, and as the restaurant was just across the path, we had breakfast and drinks served there...sheer luxury! Despite being close to the action, our bungalow was very quiet. I would rate this as a 2* hotel by North American standards but who needs a fancy room when you're outside most of the time. No bouncing on the beds - they're too hard, but better that than too soft. I had a bout of food poisoning and was brought a big mug of ginger tea; my husband had a stain on his pants and they laundered it for free. The staff went above and beyond...from booking, through reception, the 'boys' at the restaurant, to organizing tours for us. All in all a great week on Phu Quoc Island, made so by the friendly staff at Phu Quoc Kim Bungalows.

Better beach bungalows out there”

Super important for me was Wifi which was sporadic at best and didn't work most of the time. Was told it was an island wide issue or something...(!) I upgraded and had air con and breakfast - air con was ineffective and didn't cool room at all. Breakfast was very limited. Felt ripped off. I moved to the beach bungalow next door which was way better and cheaper too... & shares the same stretch of beach ..: go elsewhere !

A good place for family, near by beach.”

- Pros: This is a good bungalow for family holiday. Beach is side by side, beautiful and silent wave which is suitable for children. - Cons: The road lead to bungalow is dark. There is no window net to prevent from mosquito and bug.

Wait for three hours to check in.”

We book two night here but move out next day because the bad service here. We found better hotel deal also from agoda. Service here so bag we wait for more than three hours to get our rooms. The room so dark. The beach too small. Expensive for it rate we found some where else heap better.

We stayed at Kim Bungalows on the beach with my Mum in a deluxe room. Simple but good value for money and the great location on the beach is just amazing ! you can rent a scooter, Kim will be happy to help you to discover the Island. Family atmosphere with a few kids around, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to everyone ! We will definitely come back.
