Great hotel, beautiful location, great staff”

We spent many times our short holidays here, also with Christmas, which was always great with special diners, Santa Claus, Christmas decorations etc. And fully booked! However this year only a few guests, no Christmas party, the hotel was almost empty. For us it was no problem because we prefer to be private and enjoy the scenery and the quiet atmosphere. Rayong Resort has the most beautiful scenery and great view. We booked a de luxe room with seaview, and the view was stunning, with a great view on Koh Samed Island. We enjoyed our stay, which was already for the 5th time. However, the restaurant never changed the menu in 8 years, and becomes more expensive every year. When you stay here, you absolutely need a car, because the hotel is “in the middle of nowhere”.

Excellent get away for a few days”

The staff is super friendly and most speak fairly good English. All areas of the property are well signed. Meals are well prepared with no rush to get you out. Had great old time piano music. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The included breakfast all you can eat has a wonderful variety for all tastes.

Ideal accommodation for relaxation..”

Upon arriving at the hotel, right of the bat, we were greeted with refreshing welcome drinks and attentive staff which is a great start of the vacation. The location of this hotel is ideal for relaxation since it is surrounded by the sea; you can see the calming sight of the sea no matter which building wing you are in. However, with such location, the hotel is quite isolated from the city. This hotel is a bit dated but the cleanliness is on par with other hotels with the same rating. Wifi speed is decent but it keeps getting disconnected quite frequently which might be based on the facts that I was there during a long holiday with lots of people. The pool seems small when there are a lot of people in it. All in all, it was a memorable stay and we will be going back there again. One of the things that should be mentioned is the staff. During my stay, everyone was very helpful and attentive. K'Noi, especially, was very kind and caring to us and we do appreciate that a lot.

Nice and Quiet Place”

This place is nice and is located in a quiet place. But it is also situated close enough to other places like Piers, Rayong City, etc. Being close to Bangkok, this is a good place for a weekend getaway as well.

Excepcional”

I was so impressed when driving up to this resort, it’s generous size and multiple pools were visible from the mountain drive down. The resort sits on a small peninsular giving it all around sea view. The lobby and entrance were immaculate and well designed. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and even gave us breadsticks which we loved! I came here with my friend- were both teachers in BKK and wanted a chilled weekend away from the city- this resort provided just that. The room view was just beautiful, beds clean and comfy, shower hot and satisfying. The only thing I would say is that the pool furniture was a bit old and could do with being replaced- old wood, shabby sun bed cushions. The spa was also amazing and had some great scented oils! Overall, I really enjoyed this stay and can’t wait to come back again 🤗

The location was great! You can see the sea from both sides of the hotel. More convinient with private car to reach here. Staff are very friendly and helpful. A room is quite old but still clean. Breakfast was good.

If you want.to rest, turn off your mobile and fresh you mind, visit here. Need a car or motorcycle to venture out but for a relax stress free trip, ypu must visit. Staff are awesome, breakfast has good choice. Scenery is next level and swimming pool is great. We will return

Great Place for Nature Tripping in Rayong”

First of all I would like to thank the staff and especially Khun Kook for accommodating my requests during our last stay this month at the hotel. Stayed for 3 nights and took the liberty of being able to access the adjacent Laem Ya National park from the hotel grounds. Great place for some quiet time and low key activities. Great location with two beaches front and back of the hotel. It was so good that we wanted to come back again this Labor Day weekend but the uncertainty of the situation in Bangkok of late had forced us to cancel our reservation. Looking forward to going back to the hotel later in better times. Tip: Breakfast is great at the hotel, but the choices for lunch and dinner is a bit restricted. Menu choices are not plenty and when we were there, they ran out of pla Kapong :( However, there are good seafood and cafe's along Mae Ram Phung Beach, 15-30 min away by car.

it's all about location.”

Pros. Best setting ever. Isolated. At end of private road. View, even from cheapest rooms ,is stunning. Staff excellent. Ambiance excellent. Good pools and gardens. Cons: Expensive. This is a large, grand hotel, but needs major update to rooms. You pay for the setting. My room was a cheaper one, but no more than 3* standard at best.(but bed excellent) Drinks are very expensive. £5 for a small beer. Wine bottles from £35, but that's only Hardy's plonk. Neutral: Yes, there is abit of a walk to reception, from car park, as others stated, but its hardy a issue to moan about. You'll need transportation to everywhere. But that's half the appeal.

The view is fantastic. The room is Great. (Plenty of space for 3 ppl) but the breakfast is quite disappoint.

Good for social distancing”

Rayong resort: they have a private beach and a unique bridge that you can walk on. We stayed there almost all day all night, only left once for lunch. Dinner was expensive, like double the price from outside but it was Covid 19 period so we chose to pay to eat inside. Having read that it was a bit old so we didn't expect much but it turned out to be pretty good. They probably renovated it last year. The chair at our balcony broke though. The beach was nice. The swimming pool was quite clean but there were some rocks on the floor that broke and hurt our kid's foot.

The best place to stay in Rayong for a relaxing family trip. You can do lots of activities here; private beach, swimming pool ,free kayaking, great fishing place and lovely staff!
