The place needs to be renovated, the lights, the toilet and the floor were defective. The ladies at the reception look grumpy and were not friendly to assist you. Not a good place to stay in. The people at the restaurant were at least nice.

WORST NIGHTMARE”
We had a long day yesterday and we wanted to get some rest to catch a 6 am flight today back to Cebu. Only to eb told at the front desk that they pulled out my booking I was like wtf? My husband and I along with my One year old baby were only staying at the lobby of the hotel for 45minutes it was a total nightmare. Hotel said it's red doorz fault and red doorz called me 45mins later blaming agoda saying I should've been contacted about it but we weren't contacted or anything in advance at all. Again, I appreciate the call but the inconvenience I had to go through because of that experience. The 10% compensation isn't enough not to mention we needed to hire a Taxi from the Ritz Hotel to where we spent the night and we had to pay more because it was a same day booking and the rooms are limited as it was a weekend.

The hotel did not acknowledge our booking even if we have showed our confirmation receipt and information. It was frusrrating because OUR event is also held on the same hotel. I emailed Red doorz and i have not received any response yet. I NEED MY REFUND!

Violated our SAFETY, SECURITY and PRIVACY”
PLEASE HEED MY WARNING!!! IF YOU'RE CONCERNED OF YOUR SECURITY SAFETY and PRIVACY - PLEASE NEVER BOOK A ROOM NOR ANY SPECIAL GATHERING/EVENT in The Ritz Garden Oases. Earlier today (Jan. 26, 2020) between 3:00AM to 4:45AM Philippine Time, the Manager, named Paul, together with one of their Housekeeping Personnel (Brix), opened my room (Room 405, 4th Floor) WITHOUT MY PERMISSION and let somebody in then took one of the 2 bags left inside the room. THEY claimed that the person knows me, confirmed my full name and the room number so they've assisted the person and let him/her in. Please note that I was out during the said time. The room was locked using the hotel's unique Powercard/Keycard. I have the card with me while I was away. No one called me nor informed me, not even asked my permission, that they'll let someone in. I've asked the hotel's Manager (Paul) WHY? He said "we have this process based on our Policy. If the person wanted to get inside the room, so long as he/she can confirm the Full Name and the Room Number for which the Guest booked, they'll let that person go inside the room." IS THIS FOR REAL??? Please also take note that I have recorded our conversation. I've made a follow up question, can I have a copy of your Policy in Black and White? Paul's answer is "We don't have that. It is our SOP and the usual SOP for most Hotel/Inns." WHAT???? HOW IS THIS A POLICY THEN BECAME JUST AN SOP??? Please see the attached pictures for reference. Where is the Hotel's Policy/SOP for our SAFETY, SECURITY and PRIVACY??? I'll update this post from time to time.

the house keeping staff stepped in without being lwt in. there was no reason for them to do so. at times i felt that since they freely go in and out the room, there was no security. it bothers me to know we left the room for a number of hours with all pur valuables there.

Cold and unfriendly staff”
We arrived with lots of luggages but none of the staff standing at the lobby lifted a finger to help. They just stared at us as we struggled to retrieve our luggage’s from the car. They have a luggage cart but none of the boys moved to get them to us. My wife had mobility problems but only the lady guard at the door seems to care. The hotel itself is nice but THE STAFF GIVE THE HOTEL A BAD IMAGE AND UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE TO ITS GUESTS. We have planned earlier to extend our two nights booking but decided to move to another hotel where we fell More comfortable and welcomed. The management should change their staff or put them into a retraining program if they wish to stay above their competitors. With all the hotels sprouting in Davao, this hotel would easily decline behind its competitors. YOU ARE IN A HOSPITABILITY BUSINESS SO YOU MUST LEARN TO BE HOSPITABLE!!!!
