Es imposible comunicarse con el personal ya que ninguno de ellos habla inglés. Por otra parte, cuando entramos a la habitación una de las almohadas tenía una araña y una cagada de un animal que todavía desconocemos. Es cierto que está en plena naturaleza ( las vistas son preciosas) y es inevitable no encontrarse animales pero deberían revisar la habitación antes de entregarla al cliente.

A hidden gem”
This was a perfect spot for us to visit Erawan national park - from the main road you can easily jump on the bus from Kanchanaburi, and the park is then only 15-20 min away. The resort is beautifully laid out in a large green area - easily 2.5 km to walk around, with a small lake, direct access to the river and lots of hidden spaces with animals and vegetable gardens. The restaurant offers good food and the staff is very helpful in making your stay pleasant!

Beautiful place with lots of hiccups”
We selected this resort because it looked stunning in the advertisements and it was close to erawan falls, which was an area we really wanted to visit. When we arrived, the staff were extremely friendly, but very few people spoke English and we had to rely on a translator app to communicate. The kitchen closes at 7pm, which seems early to us as travellers, and there is virtually no other food options in the area if you don’t have a car. Public transport was good for getting to erawan and into Kanchanaburi, but it stops running at dark. Further, the resort has a “no eating in your room” policy, which makes it difficult to meal-plan when travelling on a budget. When we went to check out they wanted me to pay in cash, and this had not been specified when we checked in, as every other booking I’ve made on Agoda accepts major credit cards. My “no I would not recommend this resort” is not based on the customer service we received, but other travellers deserve know our experience.

The place it's isolated from everything only bus to Erawan park (300b entrance fee) and other bus to kachanaburi both leave every hour. Other transport it's a taxi and they really over charge you. The rooms are big and clean but it's really far away from everything. Breakfast you have three choices American/ continental, fried rice with chicken or pork and rice soup.

Riwer kwai and erawan resort review”
Its, more of a resort v/s a hotel. Its basically a huge poultry farm converted into a resort. The resort is beautiful and ideally located close to erawan. There are ants and mosquitoes everywhere. Food on the property is good. Staff are polite and are helpful. dont recommend booking the rooms near the river, save money by booking the cheaper ones. If you like ducks and cocks cracking you up in the morning its a place you should stay at. Property can improve the bathroom amenities and room amenities.

The most peaceful and beautiful hotel nearby Erawan waterfalls”
All is good except bad mobile service and no WiFi in rooms (only in the lobby). But this may be a benefit for someone :)

the resort place is very big. we need to travel around by bicycle. they are for free. including different kind of farms. surounding by trees and plants. also have ducks, chickens, rabbits and Turkeys. there is a huge lotus lake there. we were just live next to it. the raft is very nice. the hotel is right beside the river kwai. you can take a lot of pictures easily just within the resort area. feel peace and refresh. the staff looks happy. they seem to love here a lot. they r cheerful n helpful. the only thing is there is no wifi at the room. u hv to use it at lobby. but its all ok. this is the best experience i have ever had.

- location to get to the resort is a little danger espectially if you drive at the night time. And location not far from erawan waterfall. And staff drive us to the waterfall too. - In the resort is very nice. Free ride bicycle around the resort which is so nature. They have a lot of animals like Turkey, duck, cow, bufferlo. -The room also have an indoor and outdoor shower. - Breakfast included

The place is huge and the bungalows nicely spread out. Quiet with lots of birds. Swimming pool was nice too although could have been cleaner. Breakfast was ok...A bit basic.

Beautiful property on the river, but the beds were the worst we have slept on in all the weeks we have stayed in Thailand. They were not only hard, but none of them were level causing severe back pain. We even switched rooms and it was still the case. The aircon is terrible and there is no Wi-Fi anywhere on the property. Only one of the staff members speaks a few words of English, she was nice though.

Lovely place in the nature nearby Erawan Falls ”
In the middle of nature, a Nice place To stop. Kindly people who tries to help you if you need To. They don't speak very good english but it's not really a problem the basic things can be explain. You can use the bicycle on the wide proprety (lot's of things to see like buffalo's, ...) and use the bus (if you dont have a rental car) to go to the Falls or to Kanchanaburi - It's a nice experience with local people. They serve dinner until 7pm but You can also go in front of the Resort, they are 3 restaurants. I absolutly recommend that place if you like to be in the nature, far from the rush of the city and tourists

the grounds are very nice, very peaceful. we seemed to have the whole place to ourselves. the staff doesn't speak much English, but we got along fine and used Google translator for anything more complicated. you should have a vehicle to stay here, or plan to spend your time at the resort. we stayed here because it was close to Erawan Falls, thinking it would be easier to get there, but it wasn't. our choices were to hire a private driver (it wasn't cheap) or go 50 km back to Kanchanaburi to catch a bus to go to the falls. the pool was a nice place to come back to with kids in the afternoon the animals on the grounds were a hot and there is a nice walk along the river and park The staff was always friendly and helpful. The food needs improvement.

Very nice ancient hotel, good for Nature lovers. It is quite a good location for water falls, but there is not a choice of food within 8km (only 2 restos around the hotel). We enjoyed the swimming pool though, and the farm in the hotel is interesting for kids
