Spacious and newly built room, River view is amazing”
The hotel is only 200 meters from the main road and next to the river, so it is pretty quite. There is an authentic northern thai restaurant on the opposite side of the beginning of the street, a few massage shops, and a motorbike rental shop. I'd recommend staying here.

Great riverside option with big pool”
Nice air-con bungalow on the riverbank. Good sized pool to cool down in. Friendly Thai/Burmese staff. Near some small bars and restaurants. 1km to bridge area.

The young staff was nice but the fact that in the hotel the staff that suppose to help don't know to speak English at all it's a little bit a problem for a tourist

Location was quite and next to the river, room was not so clean, my aircon didn’t work well, wifi good...i stayed only one night, so i can’t say much

checked in and of 3 rooms the aircon was only working in 2 and the remote only in one room. Bathroom had to be cleaned, I cleaned the aircon( filter clogged). I have stayed there for many years but the maintenance is lacking. staff is very friendly but for the price of aprox 1000thb per night you are in the upper market for this location.

Don’t stay at this hotel If you have a choice”
Honestly, it felt like we’d accidentally booked a room in a hotel that was closed for refurbishment. Lobby a total mess, incomplete buildings onsite, power socket hanging from the wall in our room and no running water until some hours after we checked-in. The pool looks nice but made our skin sting. Very limited English spoken which would be fine if the staff actually seemed interested in providing service. I’m not precious, but this was a super disappointing booking. There are plenty of alternatives that would surely do better than this.

Rooms are basic, but clean enough. Overly priced for the facilities and amenities available. Many far higher quality hotels in this price range. Swimming pool was promoted as a big feature, but was empty. Breakfast was basic and terrible.... all being cold and low cost food.

Misleading Ads, but Redeeming”
Stayed in private room 3 nights December 2022. Hotel is not a 3 star hotel in its current state. Pool is empty, wifi doesn’t work for the private riverside huts but does for other rooms. Bathroom smells terribly (mold?) and has a couple cockroaches. The breakfast consists of fruit, salad, instant coffee & tea, fried eggs, white bread & jam; owner will make you hot soup, which is great. The owner is very friendly and offered to move us to a room with wifi. The riverside private hut is 2 meters from the river and is really cute. It would be lovely with a bit more cleanliness, wifi, a bit more wall hangers or other storage, such as bedside table.

I spent 2 nights at the hotel, for which it was perfectly fine as the rooms were spacious, A/C worked all the time and it was clean expect some minor points (single dirt spots on the blanket); stuff was really friendly and helpful with requests + the resort is located directly near a street filled with restaurants, bars and shops. The river view from the room is indeed amazing. What was very unpleasant that the pool was unusable, which was not decleared beforehand, and it certainly looked like the status was on not recently but rather a long while. The breakfast was also rather poor - it had a good rice soup but elsewise just toast, eggs and vegetables. All in all it was ok for the short stay but would not recommend for long periods or real holiday. Thanks anyways to Riverpool Resort.

Good place to stay”
Great choice if you are looking for a place to stay in Kanchanaburi and also concern about the price. The price is good. The location is closed to the car/motorbike rent shop. It also near the Bridge over Kwai river and JJ night market, so you will have a lot of place to visit at night

The staff in Riverpool Resort was great. a lot of the facilities there were under construction ,but the staff was very lovely and welcoming, we stayed there an extra 2 nights

Stayed at this same hotel this time last year which was very pleasant. This year the place must be under a new manager/owner and the standard has really slipped. For my 4 nights there, my room was NEVER serviced despite me asking the 'manager' for a room clean on 2 occasions. There was almost no English spoken by any of the staff, some of whom where not very helpful, especially when it came to requesting transport. About 50% of the floor tiles are cracked throughout the facility, and border on being dangerous for the elderly or kids. No .... never again, despite me visiting Kan-Chan at this time every year.

Bad luck with the first room but happy ending”
Unlucky with my room room for 4 persons. The air cons did not work properly so hot that we could not stay and the first round of reception forgot to warn the mechanic to come and check during our break for dinner outside. So when we came back we required somebody to come and fix the aircons (2). Only maintenance team was there but could not do anything. So the hotel proposed to give us 2 separate rooms. The rooms were nice with huge bathroom. Aircons were also fine. And the next morning we did not have to pay any extra so quite happy with that. The view was nice, you can have breakfast with river view. Only thing, the pool was too dark and scary during night.

Pool was very dirty, staff mentioned maintanance would come, but nothing was done. Air con broken, and staff really unorganized with whats going on!!
