Un mágico lugar llamado Hallstat!”
Nos quedamos solo una noche en el hotel y lo disfrutamos muchísimo. Tiene una vista al lago que es inmejorable. Además el hotel cuenta con un deck que te permite meterte al lago y disfrutarlo aún más. El desayuno que ofrecen es muy variado y rico! El hotel está ubicado a unos pocos pasos del muelle al cual llega el barco que te cruza del otro lado del lago donde arriba el tren. Así que la ubicación es excelente. De todas formas considerar que Hallstat es un pueblo muy chico y todo queda a poca distancia. En cuanto a la habitación quiero mencionar que no cuenta con aire acondicionado o ventilador. Considerando que fui en verano, es algo que me incomodó y más a la noche para dormir. Por ultimo, el horario del check in es a las 15hs. Un poco tarde para mi gusto, teniendo en cuenta que fui solo por 1 día. Sin dudas volvería a Hallstat y a este hotel. Lo recomiendo!!

Lovely room, clean and warmly welcome”
I am solo traveler with a big lugguage. I searched for the most convenient hotel to stay in this charming town "Hallstatt". Seehotel Gruner Baum is very close to the pier, once I arrived the room is not yet ready the staff is so nice welcome me warmly and help me to keep the lugguage. When I came back it's almost dinner time so I asked the restaurant staff for a dinner table he told me that all tables are reserved. As the hotel restaurant is very famous and I forgot to reserve table. When I am going to get out the staff called me and asked me to wait a few moment. Just a few minutes he got back and told me that I can have a seat. I am so happy and thank to him but he also sorry to me that he can allow only one hour as the next guest will come soon. I am so much impressed because I feel so hungry and no energy to find ano other place to eat otherwise my dinner will be a leftover bun for sure, that dinner I enjoyed fish dish a lot. It's fresh cooked and smell good. Breakfast is so delicious I refill a lot esp fresh fruits. I remember it has another room specially for various buns. My room is also very nice and lovely. Decorating like a princess' bed. If I come to Hallstatt again I will stay at Seehotel Gruner Baum.

BEST HOTEL I'VE EVER BOOKED!!!”
Words cannot describe how beautiful this hotel is. Breathtaking views, amazing staff and rooms beyond equipped. Extremely comfortable beds, nice size shower and tub, oh, and did I mention THE VIEWS ARE SPECTACULAR!!! Worth every penny!!! Welcoming staff and literally right in front of the market square. A+++++

Magical Location”
The only way to truly experience Hallstatt is to stay overnight at this wonderful hotel. The majority of the rooms overlook the lake and I suggest you do what we did. We arrived mid-afternoon, avoided the crowds and had a late lunch or early dinner right on the lake. Then go explore Hallstatt in the evening after 7 pm when all the crowds have gone. You will be blessed with amazing views, the quiet serenity of the lake and excellent service. Be warned Hallstatt is currently running at overcapacity, so staying inside the hotel until after the day-trippers have left will give you a once in a lifetime memories.

A boutique centrally located hotel”
The hotel is centrally located at the heart of Hallstatt. Although the room is not big, possibly you can't find a bigger room in such a small Village. Staff is very friendly and helpful. You have to park at P1 Parking Lot with fee. The restaurant at the hotel is highly recommended. Food is good and fresh. Highly recommend this hotel.

Gorgeous historical hotel ”
We loved our one night stay. It was in the perfect location in the Hallstatt Marktplatz so walking out the front entrance was always a a delight to have the best view of the Marktplatz. Our room was absolutely perfect, very spacious, and quiet. The bed was so comfortable. We ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and both were excellent. All the staff were pleasant. Poor town though, it is overrun by tourists.

We loved Hallstatt and our hotel ”
We had one night for Hallstatt so we decided to upgrade our room to view the lake and it did not disappoint. The views all over town were amazing, especially our room. Wish we could have enjoyed it for longer... For only one night, we didn’t have a lot of time to be on the deck, so maybe paid too much... but we did enjoy it. Hotel is clean and very nice! Rooms great!

We stayed in a suite that overlooked the lake. The room was beautiful. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was very nice. Breakfast in the morning had wonderful buffet.

My husband and I had a great time staying at this hotel. The room with the balcony facing the lake is a wonderful choice! Looking at the lake in the early morning is just like heaven. We will definitley come back here in the future.

The location is great, near the schiffstation Hallstatt Markt... Around 1 min walk. The breakfast is very nice. The room is spacious with complimentary stuff like chocolate. Lovely hotel with great view.

We loved this hotel and Lake Hallstatt. But we won,t return... the area was dominated by Asians.. at breakfast every table except us was occupied by Asians...in the street every one was Asian.... The only problem with our room was poor lighting.. also in the restaurant...

Historic hotel with perfect location ”
The hotel itself is one of the tourist attraction in the small town. It’s perfect location is so convenient that you can always go back to the room for a short break when you feel tired for sightseeing. The room is huge and staying in the room just make me feel I’m living in the town century ago. We were staying in the room facing the garden view where you can get a panorama view of the town’s central Square. The breakfast offered a vast variety of choice. It might be expensive compared to other hotels or hostels in the town but it’s definitely worth it. After all you May just visit this fairytale town once in a lifetime only.
