Great location”
Location is right across from the beach - bring your bath/beach towel, staff is awesome, wifi works well and beach is really nice. Bus stops right in front, enjoy.

The bus stop is right next to it. It"s directly across from the beach. It's an amazing place to stay and the food in the cafe is great too. Loved this place, and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to go to Shimoda.
Small but nice, perfect for a short stay”
We enjoyed our stay. We stayed one night & had the room w the bathroom. The bathroom was small but nice. The shared bathroom was bigger & nicer. The rooms were clean & AC worked great. View was nice but the room was situated on the main highway so it was noisy at night. The beds were comfortable but sheets were stiff. They also did not give you regular towels only 1 hand towel per person which was very inconvenient when showering after the beach, we had to purchase beach towels at the local store to use. Location was great for beach access & food. They had very good lunch food & coffee menu but only 1 breakfast item on the menu. Overall, hotel was good buy for your buck & we would stay again just would bring our own towels & sheets.

Perfect escape to the beach!”
We had no idea what to expect as we were just after the cheapest place by the beach so we could surf for a few days. Ontop of a surf shop &converted house made it feel very homely and welcoming.very good value for money, the closest accom to the beach and the cheapest by far! In summer this place would be pumping! Thanks for a great stay!
