EXCEPCIONAL”

Sin duda el mejor hostal donde me he alojado, todo más que excelente; instalaciones, personal, limpieza, servicios, localización. Me hubiera quedado allí a vivir :)

Mala opción ”

El lugar está muy lejos de las playas, la playa más cercana es de aguas cero profundas, por lo que no es un lugar para bañarse. Mi opción fue una pieza compartida, pero esta tenía impregnando el olor a humedad y muy cerrada, llegue y me fui el mismo día a pesar de haber pagado ya unos noches.

Buen ambiente pero...”

Es un lugar de muy buen rollo. Los trabajadores son muy majos, el bar está muy bien y la piscina abierta las 24 horas. La playa está a 200 metros. Es una zona un poco apartada de la isla pero no falta el buen ambiente ni la tranquilidad (depende lo que se busque). Lo negativo es que a pesar del buen rollo en el bar se despistan bastante. En todas las consumiciones que hicimos se les olvidó traernos algo. Los bungalows son sencillos pero están descuidados en cuanto a mantenimiento. El baño precisamente no es el más limpio que he visto. Aún con todo repetiría. ¡Buen rollo!

Very clean, good food/bar and a refreshing pool”

What more could you want from a hostel. The decor in the rooms is basic but the beds include privacy curtains and the set up for you belongings was great. Place to hang clothes and a huge locker for you backpack and valuables. The bathrooms were cleaned very thoroughly every day and had great showers with lots of space. The bar area had a very chilled vibe and offered free tea and coffee all day. The food was really tasty and at a fair price. Prices on the island are slightly higher than elsewhere in Thailand. Staff were very friendly and straightforward. Would highly recommend

Shiralea is definitely the best place i've ever stayed in! I totally recommend it to solo travellers, friends, families; everyone is welcomed there! The atmosphere is absolutely amazing. It is surrounded by nature and it's locations is perfect, the facilities are amazing and the staff there could not be more beautiful! The rooms and toilettes are cleaned every day and everything is just amazing! The kitchen/living room/soul it's a super nice place to chill, to talk and to spend some time. I would definitely stay in Shiralea, you are not where all the crown is but still close to everything!

Amazing staff and relaxing atmosphere ”

Close enough to the beach to walk to, the rooms are clean and the dining area is really relaxing and chill in the morning and fun at night. The staff is extremely cool, friendly, and helpful taking care of all your needs quickly and with tons of local knowledge. The food is also very good and while there was excellent dining options nearby we found ourselves enjoying the food at the resort (especially the rad na!). Will definitely go here again.

BEST HOSTEL I'VE STAYED AT”

I booked one night at Shiralea and ended up staying for one and a half months. The staff is super nice and makes this place feel like home. The common spaces are awesome to meet new people, especially as a solo traveller. The pool is so nice to cool down, especially because the ocean water in Thailand is too hot sometimes. The gym was great to have and gave me extra motivation to workout. The food is great too! Overall, this place is AMAZING and the vibes are great*

Super friendly and helpful front of house (Matt) went extra mile to explain and welcome me. Super clean room and bed with nice large cupboard each to put personal belongings! Great facilities and great location. Favourite hostel I stayed at on Koh Phangan

Excepcional”

The atmosphere in the resort is amazing, they have the best pool -depth of 3 meters, so you can dive there, it’s cleaned every single day; there is a gym, joga classes near the pool; the rooms are basic, but it’s clean, comfy beds and a/c is quiet; vert good location, close to the beach.

Awesome place, super cozy to hang out during the day yet still exciting and eventful in the evening / night. The staff are super rad and easy to get a long with. Jimmy, Jay, G, and Keira are excellent workers and made us feel at home, will go back for sure!

Amazing staff and place in general”

Booked 3 nights here, ended up extending my stay twice to a total of 8 nights. Simply loved it here. Even tho it was low season and not much was going on, it was just a very pleasant place and the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful with literally everything. Coming back for sure!

Favourite Hostel! ”

This is the best hostel I’ve stayed in. The facilities are amazing, the staff are beyond incredible, and there’s a gorgeous beach right around the corner. I extended my stay, just like everyone who comes here. Highly recommend!

Reasonable prices all you need”

Rooms are spacious and clean. Personal is excellent. Equipment is excellent. Gym +Pool. All in all would definitely recommend

Happy”

I had a good experience, dormitory was nice and basic (they also give you a lock for cupboard if you are concerned about your stuff). People were friendly, food tasty. Comfortable bar area to sit and relax.

Small and basic room in nice resort ”

We stayed in the double fan room. We originally booked for 2 nights but ended up staying for 7. However I wouldn't say that we extended our stay because we loved the room! The room was clean but very very small. Not much room around the bed plus a badly laid out shelf meant there was no room to unpack bags at all really. The room had a fan (as expected) but was still very hot. Obviously this to be expected, not moaning just noting that it gets stuffy and hot. No bugs in the room, however our bungalow (11) was next to a large bush that was home to lots of noisy bugs and on one night a very loud bull frog that kept us up most of the night. Unless you are a deep sleeper bring ear buds and you should be fine. The resort has a great pool with sun beds around it, as well as a good bar/restaurant with a chill out area. Staff were mostly friendly. Would recommend staying for a few nights as the island is great, but room is basic as advertised

Amazing and very supportive staff, great common areas and favorable location to visit beautiful beaches on foot if you don't mind walking. Also, their restaurant offers good meals and snacks options.

Best fried eggs on Koh Phangan ”

Nice pool, good for swimming under water with your eyes open. Karim is very cool. Genuinely amazing fried eggs for breakfast!

Excepcional”

I stayed in a dorm at shiralea and the dorms are really nice. They are clean, you have AC and a curtain for some privacy. They also have huge lockers and each bed has a plug. I just wouldn’t recommend staying there if you don’t drive a scooter because it’s a bit far off from everything.
