My stay was good. The staff and family is friendly and helpful. However, the place is kinda far and you would need transport, so better avoid if you do not have a transport. otherwise, everything is good about this place.

Kids suffered”

We booked a deluxe room, as we had 3 kids, by looking at the photos in the site, however, the view and the space shown were not there. The two beds occupied the whole room, and hence there was no space to keep the bags properly, or no table to work on the laptop or to do any writing work. There was no view at all when the window was opened as the adjoining building was too close, and hence the room also was dark. In fact, the standard room was better with at least the view, and there was a little space between the beds, so we requested a transfer to one of them, although we paid for a deluxe room. The whole building had no heating. The tap in the bathroom was leaking, so the water was not getting heated up. Water pressure also was not enough in the shower. No proper hangers to keep towels. No proper locks for the bathroom door. The kids suffered due to cold room and cold water, and they did not sleep well.

Arrived and the room was not even ready. The shower did not have any hot water and to too if off it's not a 10 minute walk to town it lake view like advertised. Would never stay here again.

Hotel was good and the staff is very friendly and attentive.But you have to check as to who else is staying since it is a relatively small place.We has to stay there with a large group of very noisy guests.that was a minus factor.But the staff tried their very best to make our stay comfortable.

cozy, but need some improvements”

First impressions of the place were great and the family that runs it is incredibly kind! I hate to give any sort of negative review.. but the major downside was that we couldn't sleep AT ALL. There seemed to be a large gathering of birds living in the attic above our room, and there also seemed to be a cat or other animal chasing them around ! I was literally up all night due to the noise of the birds chattering and the thumping and running around. It was such a shame. The room was so cute and we had a little breakfast nook. They served us an AMAZING breakfast in the morning! There was food for 6 people and we were just two ;) Also.. it is COLD up there…. keep that in mind. And there was no hot water. There really needs to be hot water. This place has the potential to be really top notch!!!

Good as a starting point to Horton's Plains and World's end. To be noted: the room was cold and there was no heater (or you have to pay to have a radiator!).

Дом похоже уже давно используется для отеля, поэтому все уже весьма ушатано. Не очень чисто. Одеяло дают, но не дают простыню, которой накрываться. Все требует ремонта. Кровать большая, но очень мягкая. Для людей с проблемами со спиной не годится. Расположен он на склоне горы, далековато от центра. Утром можно спуститься до центра пешком, а вот вечером точно придется брать тук.
