Fantastic sea-front location ”

We rented two sea-view bungalows and hired a BBQ from the hotel and drove a few minutes down the road and bought loads of sea-food, and spent 2 days enjoying the view and wonderful food, beach wasn't great but we had spent the previous week on samet, so that wasn't a big deal.

This is my 4th or 5th time staying there, with the kids i always take the family room which is perfect. Nice quite area and close to family friends.

Family friendly”

It was great and it was a family friendly hotel. You got the beach in front of the hotel but sadly we did not know how to get down there. However, they got a really nice swimming pool, which the water in it was warm during the day and night. Also, they got delicious rice soup for breakfast.

Nothing around this hotel”

Hotel staff was nice and kind, pool was good, beach is in front of the hotel; however, this beach is not suitable to swim. This beach is not for swimming neither walk as clay like and risk foot sunk. If we want to enjoy beach, absolutely should not stay here.

Great Value”

I had a great time. I needed somewhere quiet and unsophisticated to relax and do some work. Sri Phairin allowed me to do that. Local restaurants "Thai" gave good value and were also run by happy smiling folk. A far cry from the city.

Great escape”

This hotel is a very good quiet place to think. I've found my solitude. Will definitely drop by again. The only downside is that if the next bangalow is a group of drinkers, you might not be able to sleep.

Nice hotel, pity about the beach”

Very quiet this time of year so we had the pool to ourselves. Good sized pool with kids pool as well. Our beachfront rooms were very good and clean, bed was a little too soft. This section of beach isn't good but it's only 5 mins drive to choa loa beach, Plenty of places to eat there too. Food at hotel was nice and the staff very friendly and professional.

Great service... Quiet beach”

the service at this little cabin on the beach was great. there was attention to detail and a pride in making things smooth. the receptionist is in charge of running most things and it is a family business, so she was quite accommodating. the one negative thing is that there are very few food options in the area and one must seek out local transportation for getting around. clean beach.

The place is clean. Simple. And is a beach front. Can improve if they add more of their amenities like water heater or fridge maybe.

This Sri Phairin Resort on Hat Lam Sing is suited for mostly Thais or if you're traveling with a Thai person. We booked the connected room bungalow with a garden view which is about 100m walk to the beach. Not much of a view. The beds are too firm though. You could feel the spring underneath. Pools are ok. Children’s pool is about 85cm, adult pool up to 2.5m with no swimming restrictions. Downside= pool lights were not functioning at night due to renovations and rewiring. The rooms were ok for a family of 4 not too small. The Thai style bathroom was clean; all open area (no shower curtains). There are no closets or drawers to put your cloths in, just a towel rack. The Thai staffs were friendly. Two types of breakfast served= American (1 egg, ham, hotdogs, toast and coffee or Ovaltine for kids), or Thai rice soup choice of Pork or Shrimp. There's a seafood restaurant about 125m walk from the resort called "Krua Chom Talay" meaning Kitchen with a Sea View. The food is delicious and not too expensive. Room service is offered by this restaurant. The other downside is that on Hat Laem Sing, you really can swim at the beach. The water is too murky due to the currents and silts. You have to drive to Hat Chao Lao if you want to swim which is (8km) from the resort. Hat Chao Lao water is clearer with muddy-brown powdery sand. Overall the resort is a great quiet getaway from hectic Bangkok. Trip review- April 22-24 2015.

In the middle of nowhere”

The staff in the hotel is very nice and helpfull, they try to help you as much as they can BUT... The hotel/bungalows are situated in the middle of nowhere. There is absolutely nothing around, no shops, no taxis to get out from that place. Nothing. The only restaurant we could find was the one in the hotel. The beach is dirty with papers, bottles. The water is dirty too. The huts looks nice outside but inside they are quite old, with wooden walls, we found skme bugs inside. We have paid for extra bed and what we got? The mat to sleep on the floor so 3 of us end up sleeping in the same bed. I think its just the place for local people to come and do nothing. Oh and the pool was nice. Thats it really.

Comfortable but poor beach”

The bungalow is nice and great in the evening or when the tide is in. The restaurant is serviceable, and the service is great. The pool is usable. It was raining when we were there but teh beach area was unclean and when the tide goes out you can see pipes pushing up through the sand disposing waste.

when we got there the man at gate let us use a motorbike to have dinner, they shut down at 5 o"clock. so we only eat a small breakfist there. good place to eat down the road at another hotel. great pool.

Beach very dirty”

If you stay here you definitely need your own transport Swimming pool ok for children but nothing else to recommend Ok for one or two nights
