Sugar Cane, una excelente opción en Kanchanaburi”

Como hotel está bastante bien para el precio de las habitaciones. Recomendables las que están sobre el rio. Las otras no tienen ningún atractivo. El restaurante está en una terraza con vistas sobre el rio. Excelente panorámica con comida de muy buena calidad a un precio más que razonable. Recomiendo especialmente los desayunos en la terraza.

Bonita ubicación pero hotel justito”

Las vistas y su ubicación al lado del río son su punto fuerte. Sin embargo la limpieza de las habitaciones tiene bastante espacio de mejora, así como la distancia a los puntos de interés en Kanchanaburi. Está a una media hora del famoso puente y otros tantos minutos de los cementerios de la guerra.

Peor que mal. Realy bad”

Lo contraté porque estaba en el río. Cuando llegué me dieron una habitación que, aunque daba al rio, era todo unas maderas y no tenía ninguna vista ni medianamente buena. Al decirlo me cambiaron con mala cara a otra que también daba al río pero daba a escasos metros del siguiente hostel por lo que las vistas eran a la parte de atrás del hostel. Limpieza: con hormigas e insectos y separación de baño con habitación rota. El precio me dijeron en el pueblo que si lo contrtabas directamente era la mitad. En fin, que más decir, el peor de todo el viaje.

Las cabañas no son nada del otro mundo, pero por el precio q pagas tampoco se puede pedir mucho más. Las camas son cómodas. Las vistas del río no son las mejores desde las cabañas pero es más lindo que estar en el centro del pueblo. La zona del restaurante es muy agradable. La comida depende, a veces aciertas, otras no. El sándwich club estaba muy rico. El ambiente, al menos cuando yo estuve, no era el q esperaba. Mucha hombre de edad avanzada, alojados solos.

Great value, lovely staff, central location”

Location is great, I stayed in the rooms floating above the water which were nice. Good and cheap menu in the place. Staff spoke English well and were friendly and helpful. A great tour operator agent is right next to the driveway. The walls of the rooms were a little bit thin; this did not affect my stay but I would be mindful if you are a light sleeper you might have a problem if you were unlucky and had noisy guests next door. For me it was a great stay.

Cozy place with beautiful view by the river”

It was nice and quiet. Very cozy atmosphere. Not like your honeymoon destination of course but for a small getaway it was good. Located within the center or the restaurants and small bars area but you can't here any noise from the place. It's Kanchanaburi so they don't do party anyway,

This place is very basic bungalows the only real problem was tgat they needed new mattereess badly as mine was just springs. But the price was great and the view was beautiful well worth the back pain. I would return to see the sunrise over the river.

Get what you pay for plus a great view”

This is a great location. Not far to the Rive rKwai Bridge and plenty of shops up on the main road. Absolutely fantastic view on the water to wake up to. The walls are paper thin so if anybody is talking you will hear there conversation but luckily there was nobody next to us. The beds are comfy the room is clean but has gaps under the doors so welcome in the creepys. But for the price you cant complain at all. Its certainly an experience but would stop again. Perfect for backpackers.

Nice raft”

I appreciate to stay here 2 nights. The personal are gentle, the raft bedrooms is old and the aircon is just enough efficient, but I really enjoy my stay. I thought that is possible to fishing from the room but unfortunately the water is about 50 cm deep around my room. Some of my neighbors fished and catch fish ! If you looking for a quiet, simple and romantic place you should like it. For this price don't believe to get a luxurious room but I will recommend this hotel for the feelings.

Location is very central but wafer thin walls ”

I liked my stay here. I stayed in a floating room. It is basic but clean. The location is so close you can walk to almost everything. I liked the outside eating area, it was great to have food and beer while watching the sun go down. Food and drink here are a good price. It is down a side street and on the river so it's well shielded from road noise etc but the walls between each room are so thin you can hear everything. That was it's only downside for me. Cheap n cheerful.

This place is very nice. Staffs are very nice! They very careful. Food prize not to expensive. You can take a lot of photos and feel relaxed. But i think the wall is not strong because i can hear next room talk and cough, rest room is very clean! And it might so good more than this if it have 2 plug.

Basic room, uncomfortable bed, but the real issue is the staff who "doesn't speak English" until we had a friend over for a beer (not even inside the room) so they came and asked if we are 3 sleeping in the room.

Super clean and perfect location ”

I loved the "on the river" feel. The GF wasn't impressed......maybe it's time to EJECT! LOL.

Solid basic river accomodation ”

Comfortable room and nice staff. Walls are thin, but wasnt a problem for us.
