A quiet, well located place with super helpfull staff”
We stayed in Sunshine Bungalow for 5 nights. The place has clean, quiet & spacious rooms, cleaned daily. It's located 2 minutes away from the beach with plenty of restaurants nearby and 10 minutes away by motorbike (or taxi) from the town center, where the night market is. It offers services such as laundry, motorbike rental (great price & good quality of the bike) and has it's own store that was open pretty much all the time we were awake, so we could buy water or snacks even late in the evening. The biggest asset of the hotel was however it's management. Duc & his father, who run the place were super nice & extra helpful. They would assist with anything that we needed, give helpful suggestions, always smiling. Duc speaks good English, his father speaks German. It was simply extremely pleasant to stay at their place. Thank you guys!

Excellent value for location and room”
Great location such a short walk to the beach. Clean and quiet at night - such a welcome pleasure. The AC and Fan were a nice combo. Only feedback would be to have a garbage can in the room also and to provide a hand towel for the bathroom in addition to the bath towels already provided. The owner and his son were so helpful and friendly. They helped arrange scooters at a good price and the taxis to the airport and the Ferry office for an early morning pickup. The owner even came to see us off which was totally unnecessary and very touching. It made it seem like we were saying goodbye to family. We would highly recommend this place. The value for money is unbeatable. The internet works really well too and much better than other locations in Vietnam! We spent 3 nights total and could have easily stayed longer. The size of the rooms is great too because you can move around without stepping on each other. Three adults shared Room 08 and we were more than satisfied.

Fantastic owners ”
Pros: large clean room, good facilities (quiet air con, fridge, bath, towels including beach towels); excellent family owners who are extremely friendly and helpful (can organise bus tickets, scooters, taxis etc.); nice quiet location near many restaurants and the beach. Cons: the area is quite built up and touristy, if you're looking for a more isolated place then you need to be further from town. Not a problem with the guest house but worth being aware of.

Best value in Vietnam”

Such a lovely place to stay .Near beach and places to eat, bars etc,very helpful staff .Shop on premises for everything you need.Beds are sooo comfortable and clean.Highly recommended.Towels and bedding clean everyday.Nothing was too much trouble.

Great stay in Sunshine Bungalow”
I stayed in Sunshine Bungalow with a group of friends at the start of January this year. The rooms were great and the beds very comfortable. The staff that run Sunshine Bungalow are great, it is a family business. I would highly recommend Sunshine Bungalow.

Excepcional”
Very responsive staff who helped us book taxi, recommended restaurants and laundry services. It’s right by the long beach and close to many restaurants and convenience stores. It’s the best buy.

Everything we needed”
This is a quiet, very pleasant place and the family who runs it is completely helpful and cheerful. The bungalows are basic, but they have been renovated recently; the windows, for example, are new and have screens, so you can have fresh air without worrying about the bugs. We really enjoyed the small village feel of the immediate neighborhood, especially in contrast with the hectic atmosphere on the main road and in the center of town. The beach is a short walk away; we spent both days at Jojo’s, which provided a lounge and umbrella all day for free as long as we spent a few dollars on lunch and drinks at their beach-side restaurant. The sand on the beach is a beautiful yellow-brown, and both the beach and the water were clean.

Lovely, pretty accommodation with all the necessities”
Great, friendly, helpful, family run business by Duk and Dad Zum. Very helpful, good English, informative and would do anything to help. Just be careful if you hire a bike as I got a very dodgy one which broke down at the other end of the island and being a solo female traveller, it was a bit of a scary experience. They were apologetic about it afterwards though. Room spacious, very clean, all the necessary requirements. Very hot shower, comfortable bed. Close to the beach and restaurants, plus minimart on site.

Quiet Oasis in the heart of the beach”
The small hotel (12 rooms) has a quiet ambience and lovely grounds. Rooms are small and plain but have everything you need. The beach is a short walk and if you go left you can dodge the beach chair police at the hotels. The staff are helpful and very friendly. Highly recommended!

We stayed a group of 5 adults and 3 children at sunshine bungalows resort, and we were positively surprised to get this kind of stay for this small amount of money, It is also very close to the beach.

A very pleasant place”
There is no swimming pool or free water or breakfast. There is the most friendly staff. You are a 5 minute walk to the beach. Their convenience store is right there with very fair prices and the beer is as cold as it possibly could be. For the price it cannot be beat! Family owned and run and they treat you like visiting royalty!

Great accomodation”
Lovely small bungalows in an overgrown corner near Long Beach. The owner and his wife are very nice people speaking english and german. It's easy to realize, that they take good care of their property. It was very clean, just as the rooms. There's also a small store at the front we're you can buy water or other things. The walk to the beach is about 2 min and although there are many private beaches there is a comfy, cheap restaurant at the end of the road where you can enjoy your time. Also the hotel is in a good walking distance to many nice restaurants. Would definitely reccomend!

Friendly staff, beach nearby”
We felt very comfortable in our bungalow. The rooms were made everyday but the sheets had some stains. 3 min foot Walk to the Beach. You can rent a scooter for 150.000 vnd to discover the island or going to the night market (5 min by scooter). We had a small incident with our lamp when we tried to turn it on, there was a Short circuit. Luckily nothing bad happened except some black stains at my friend‘s hand, still a bit dangerous. The best part was the friendly family who owns the place, very helpful and welcoming. For this price range, I would highly recommend this place.

Cute motel for low budget travelers”
Sunshine Bungalows was very clean with kind and attentive staff always willing to assist. The room was very basic. The bed and pillows were the normal SE Asia super firm. The shower was in a tall bathtub with no curtain or door and it was impossible to shower without getting the polished tile floor wet and very slippery and dangerous. The beach is a 2-3 minute walk away which is nice. There are a number of resorts right on the beachfront who refuse to let non registered guests use their sand or even their water. We were told to leave a couple of spots in front of resorts even though Vietnam’s beaches are all supposed to be public. It was an issue and we felt quite unwelcome on the beach., which was no fault of the bungalows, but something travelers might want to consider.

They were totally wrong and we could have helped you to protect your right. So next time, ( and for other travelers) when the staffs of resort don't allow to use the beach, just tell them you are staying at Sunshine Bungalow and they will know what to do. Very hospitabe and well maintained”
The place is managed by a young gentleman Duc and his mother, it is conveniently location, maybe a 5 minutes walk from the beach with some very nice beach restaurants and a few bars. The hosts are very kind and responsive to any request we had. It also has a makeshift workout area with spin cycles and some weight training equipment. They recommend you make no noise so as not to disturb the peace and quiet of the place and rightly so. The rooms are very clean and the airconditioning was in perfect order. There are enough toiletries in the bathroom as well.

Decent accommodation that’s well priced and close to the beach. On a side street rather than the main strip so it’s quiet.
