Heritage hotel in need of renovation”

Layout is good.

Reputed heritage hotel. This was my third trip, the last being in the year 2000. However, this time I was dissapoited. The room 101 which I stayed was a premium room. However, the room and toilets are in need of renovation. The toilet slabs are cracked. The drain covers are damaged and not properly placed. The rooms do not have any charging points for mobiles. The doors and windows are not sealing properly. It needs better heating arrangement. After, checking in I had to call the room service to cleanup the toilet. The free pickup & drop was only till 7 pm. However, the food was good and the staff were friendly and helpfull.

Lake view from outer area of hotel

- lunch and dinner menu need improvement in terms of variety. - no feedback form available in hotel. it should be part of room package. - lake view rooms fo not have view of lake at all. guest needs to go out to a specific area meant for view. they should not be called lake view room. biggest disappointment. - hotel should provide umbrella tyo guest. request was plainly refused. even 3 stars' hotels in europe and usa provide umbrellas to guests. another disappointment. - could not sleep properly as guests in other 2 lake view rooms made lot of noise. it seems that walls are not thick enough. moreover, i had to ask hotel staff 4 times to tell ohter guests not to create noise in night. i had to go other guest room personally for the same. even then hotel staff was not much help.
