Es el mejor hotel en ambon”
Mi experiencia en el hotel fue muy buena si bien perdí mi reserva porque no pude volar regresando desde banda, en una visita previa conocí el hotel, cene en el restaurante y me parecieron muy recomendables.
Great place for relaxation”
Good location right on the seashore (but the beach is only 20m long)...clean location, amazing sunset! and private beach, so not much of crowd. The staff were very helpful and friendly, as well as spoke decent English. Rooms were fine (deluxe) and wifi strong. Breakfast was satisfactory with good Indonesian spread. But those coming to Ambon for first time, be prepared for everything to be 10-20% more expensive for all items than Jakarta prices. Our family enjoyed the place thoroughly. Its a peaceful place with big grounds to cover..we will return!
The hotel is very nicely located on a quiet part of Ambon island but there are still some nearby warungs to have local food and it is only a short walk to where we could enjoy fantastic rujak (mixed fruit with peanut sauce) in small kiosks right over the beach. The hotel itself has a good breakfast, an excellent large pool for swimming (and a smaller one for kids), and a nice aura. Staff are all very friendly; the only problem was a lack of communication on the booking and payment.
All good except LOUD music”
Clean, very nice great aircon, large rooms with nice view. But there were peoblems with noise: loud music in the restaurant (we asked the several times to turn it down, and to their credit they did). However, OUTSIDE the resort someone or something plays music starting at 5am. One night it was horrifyingly loud. The second night not as loud, but one wonders who in tarnation needs to hear that crap at 5 am? So watch out for that. - Bill
By far the best resort around Ambon”
We had a great stay in Natsepa. Maybe the cleanliness of each room could be improved as we found ants between glass that covers the desk in our room. But overall it was a great stay esp. if you opt for the room with its own pool. The beach outside the resort also clean and beautiful.
Very nice Welcome”
We were so happy after that very nice welcome by Ms. Triyan All was ok. The checkout with Jerry was perfect too.
An oassis with serene surroundings near rural area”
Wonderful service staff from the reception to the bell hop, to the restaurant staff, always ready with a smile and smal talk. Large rooms facing the pool and the sea. Interesting spread of breakfast with local delights. Good place to simply relax away drom hustle and bustle of life. Spa facility is a little disappointing as there is only one therapist, not suitable for a group
It was fine -- good even -- until there was some music playing at 5:30AM. I called to have it shut off, but they said it was from the local village -- though it's a wonder to me what the village would be doing piping out "muzak" kind of music at 5:30AM. My buddy next door heard it but slept through it - I could not. Be warned. The food was just OK.
Well managed hotel”
Ambon is a beautiful place, it is super clean and well governed. The hotel is very nice with helpful staff. Food is not really to my taste, but it is ok. Breakfast are just ok. The hotel is on the ocean and has very beautiful surroundings. The rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained.
Perfect stay on the way to Banda with speed ferry”
We stayed one night in the Natsepa before heading to Banda with the speed ferry. It's half way between the airport and a small boat jetty. We had a clean, spacious room with a seaview and balcony. Bed was confortable, air conditioning was effective and silent. The wifi had good signal strength, and was quite fast as well. In the afternoon we enjoyed the pool very much. The restaurant provided really good food. Try the Maluku burger! Breakfast was also superb with a lots of choices. And the most important: the staff was really helpful and friendly!
Great if you just want to stay in the hotel n swim in the pool all day everyday”
Had a lagoon room, ie with a pool at the patio so that was great. But room had obviously seem better days- flaking paints, water leaking out of walls in toilets. Killed two centipedes in three days - one in toilet and another on wall outside the front door (yeah, slippers can be very useful). Loads of mozzies - so be warned. Housekeeping did try very hard to keep mozzies at a minimum by spraying the room everyday. So you see loads of dead mozzies on the floor when you return to the room :) (Can be interesting activity to watching them spinning round and round on the floor dying if you have nothing better to do) On average, we kill probably an additional 15 to 20 each day ourselves. Kind of fun to challenge who kills more mozzies since there was not much else to do after the daily swimming, massage and city/beach trips. Gym was "under construction" n no wifi in room. To get to anywhere, you need to book and pay for min 4 hours even if it's to the nearest town centre (30 mins away) which had absolutely nothing to look at (30 mins is enough to go through the entire place). The beaches were ok (read "nothing to shout about") but better than being in the room all day. Restaurant food was quite decent and restaurant staff were great although English was still a problem. Can't say the same for reception staff ... Their English was not very good to begin with and one was distinctively unhelpful ie everything did not understand and when she understood, she could not help. We asked about day trips to other islands or snorkeling/ diving / water or any other activities besides staying in the room or swimming in the pool. But no, she did not have any idea or cannot help to provide any information at all. Another one told us a ride to the city centre costs IRD45,000 (about USD4.50 and we thought it must be hourely-rated for the 4 hours we booked) (not once but twice when we asked to confirm) instead of IDR450,000 (USD45 for the full 4 hours) which is 10 times more! Only found o
average service ... excessive price for motobike”
Our stay sas ok, hotel could not propose any diving solution for us after they stopped working with the closest dive shop ... while still mentioning this activity. Room a bit smelly as well. Motorbike rental is per hour ! Ten times the price in Bali or anywhere in Indonesia.
I won't recommend”
The room was full of mosquitoes, I had to wait long at the reception, room service staff were not friendly at all (receptionist were nice though), and they served very slow at the restaurant though it seemed not so busy... I won't recommend to friends.
Others may be better value”
The is no elevator, getting luggage up and down the stairs from the lobby to ground floor is a pain (let alone if you have dive equipment or an esky). The room was full of mosquito's and if we hadn't asked (twice) there would have been no offer of some Baygon. Got ripped off on the wine but no concession from management. As others have said - the resort tries hard, staff are nice, but it really struggles to deliver a polished product. I will stay in town next time as you find yourself having to go in everyday for cash, supplies, restaurants, etc. and there are better beaches around the coast.
Good Hotel with ocean view”
Excellent stay at Natsepa Resort hotel at a fantastic price/night. Managed by expats, this hotel will be the pearl of Ambon. Close to the airport, small shops nearby, the best rudjak at walking distance and the ferry to Saparua nearby in Tuleho. Friendly staff, nice swimming pools, dive center, LAN and Wifi internet for free, we will stay here agin when we visit Ambon.
This hotel is a jewel in the Natsepa Beach. From my room I had a
Big room but the food is not good”
The good thing about this hotel is the room and bathroom are quite spacious but the service is so so. Some of toiletries items were not replenished when we stayed there during new year. Also the quality of breakfast food is not good.
Nice hotel, has a lot of potential”
Unfortunately we came during the wet season so we had a lot of rain during our stay... we did not have a swim in the pool, breakfast was nice and dinner was great too. The staff are ever so helpful and always willing to help, they were all very smiley and wonderful. Overall was a nice trip and stay!
Good value for night stop 25 min from airport”
My 6th time at the Natsepa and there are steady improvements noticeable each time. It is the only major hotel easily accessible from the airport through an efficient and friendly 25 min transfer at a reasonable cost. Good for travellers passing thru Ambon but located a distance away from the actual city.
Looks good but bad food and handphone signal”
The stay was good But as a busniess man connectivity is very important The cell signal is bad , no wifi in room, lan intermet is slow and unstable. Having a hard time calling out even when using local cell provider. I had organize a dinner for my guest and local partner. The buffet cost IDR150,000 per pax and its really bad. Even my local partners are complaining. The nasi Goreng down the road is better den the hotel buffet
