Excellent value for money”

Excellent location walking distance to robinson mall where you can find everything (food, drink, shops). Brand new hotel with secure parking in front of the rooms. Two negative points: no breakfast and internet too slow.

Great choice”

We were looking for a good cheap hotel for our 4 night stopover in Surin to see the Elephant Festival. We considered others, but kept on coming back to this hotel, the lack of meals at the hotel is not a problem, as for a westerner, there are excellent meals available at the 214 Diner, 200 meters from the entrance to Robinsons. The hotel is great, looks new, but is in fact 3 years old, well looked after, and everything was perfectly clean and worked. More than enough power points to charge the phones etc, staff do speak limited english, but owners daughter speaks great english. I have no hesitation in recommending, if I visit Surin again, I would definitely stay here.

Foreigners Beware!”

I booked this hotel through Agoda about a month ago.I had booked for two nights only as the hotel where we wanted to go had no vacancies for Friday and Saturday night.The weekend i had booked for was the major tourist draw card for the year in Surin,The Elephant festival.On arrival I was told that they were full and had double booked and we would have to go to another hotel(which they were willing to take us to).i was lucky my partner is Thai and was able to argue with the girl at the counter saying we didn't want to go to another hotel.After about 5 minutes we were told we could have a room with two single beds for one night only but would have to move to the other hotel tomorrow.This was not suitable to us because we had to leave very early in the morning and spend the day in the country about 30 kms out of Surin and could not come back at checkout time to move.Again after about 5 minutes of heated discussion between my partner and the staff member on the front desk we were told we could have a room on Saturday night.There were a lot of cars parked in front of the rooms on Friday night and the hotel could very well have been full or nearly full,however on Saturday night there were probably half the number of cars and motorbikes that had been there the previous night.I do not know for sure but I believe there was something not right about this whole affair.It just goes to show you as a foreigner with limited Thai language skills we are at the mercy of any person who wants to take advantage of us.I am not even going to review the hotel as I will never return here.So please beware of The Phant Hotel!

A éviter absolument. Toilette boucher à chaque fois. La télé ne fonctionne pas.pas de sèche cheveux . Le lit est dur comme du bois.

Grande chambre et grande salle de bain. Le tout en parfait état et propre. Possibilité de prêt vélo. Pas de petit déjeuner. Très éloigné du centre.(5 kms)

Hotelli (Matkustajakoti) oli ainakin meidän huoneiden osalta keskeneräinen. Kalusteet puuttuivat lähes kokonaan (vaatekaapit, tuolit, pöytä, tärkeimpinä). Netti ei toiminut.
