Location is the key with this hotel, central London with walking distance to Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, Theatres etc. Having come from a catering background I could not fault anything. From the minute you walk in through the entrance door, the service was very impeccable. You were treated like you were the only one there. We stayed over for a birthday party just around the corner. The morning breakfast was also very good. Hot buffet service with tasty sausages, and the coffee was so good (not the powdered coffee) lovely fresh ground coffee. We also had after noon tea at the Horseguards Hotel the following day, and if you have time I really recommend it. The staff could not do enough for you and checked to see if everything was ok, topping up with sandwiches cakes and more tea. To Re-Cap if you want to stay somewhere central, have good food and be looked after by excellent staff. This is the place to go.

Best hotel during the whole trip”
My husband and I, together with another couple went to Ireland (Dublin and Limerick) and London. We stayed in a total of 4 hotels. All 4 described themselves as "5 star". One in Dublin, one in Limerick, another in London (to be close to the airport the day before we were to fly home) and The Royal Horseguard was the best! There is no better location. The building is beautiful inside and out. The rooms were clean and a very good size. As far as we are concerned, next time we will stay there.

Birthday break”
Booked for my wife’s birthday and was not disappointed. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff pleasant and polite. Our evening meal was cancelled due to staff quarantining, so we ate out. However, breakfast was served and was first class. Lots of options available to choose from. The only drawback was the price of the drinks and the fact that we were charged a Service Charge on the drinks. Apart from this, I would happily recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel in a great location. not exactly cheap and not as flexible on check out time as i would have expected after staying twice for a combined stay of 8 nights. but otherwise no complaints

Located along the River Thames, overlooking The London Eye, and within walking distance of Charing Cross, Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus and the many West End Theatres you are assured of making the most of your London stay. 5 Star location, 3.5 star service”
Great location to all major sights. Beautiful view from room. Large room/bed Minor issues that should but were not addressed: - Shower head sprayed water on bathroom floor, head needs to be realigned and cleaned. - t Shampoo rack on shower slopes so items fall on floor - loose - lightbulb missing from side table lamp -Coffee pouched for morning coffee were not replenished- some days 4, others 1 or none - Doorman is not focused on customers, he is distracted by colleagues and looking at his cell phone. Overall, stay was lovely but these minor issues are irritating and should not occur in a 5 star billed hotel. -
