Best Resort in Phu Quoc”

A wonderful retreat. Jenny the manager and her team are just wonderful. They can't do enough to make your stay relaxing and comfortable. The food was always high quality. We were able to rent a motorcycle and explore the island and quickly came to the conclusion that we chose the best resort available. Beach front, kayaks for hire, plenty of deck chairs and hammocks and of course super friendly staff. It is a little distant to the main town and the roads were poor but that is not the fault of the resort. We would recommend this place to anyone that wants a relaxing getaway in a tropical beach side bungalow.

Great staff, private beach, difficult access.”

Complementary kayaks, old but gets you out in the water to see the sunset! A must do if you stay here, if you don’t kayak walk across the peninsula 15min walk or a bit further to the bay for amazing sunsets! The beach at the resort is one of the best around. Thank you for making our stay a nice one!

Peaceful place with beautiful view”

Lunch and dinner are very tasty, but poor breakfast. The road to go to resort is a little bit scary and difficult when go at night. The view of beach is very beautiful, room looks simple and cute, it's a very quite place, can hear the sound of wages while sleeping and staffs are friendly. Really love the atmosphere here. Sure will back if come to Phu Quoc again.

Staff great, good location, construction nearby. ”

Amazing staff, excellent manager. Very friendly. However, very few speak much English. Manager is fluent. Sea view bungalows are actually deep in the garden - bit of a let down. Food is average - better food up or down the beach at the neighbouring resorts. There is a large pier only 200m which 3 times a week features noisy and smelly sand trucks with a big crane offloading sand from a barge...

A great place to stay”

We had a really nice time. The beach is lovely and so quiet and pretty compared to others on the island. It's out of the way if you want to look around the island, but the peace and quiet makes up for that. Staff are friendly, though could benefit from a bit more experience/ training. All in all, good value and a pleasant stay.

Remote gem”

Wonderful staff, attentive manager, warm and cherry family run feel. Super private beach and spotlessly clean rooms for bargain price. Remote location in Vung Bau is double edged sword -- relaxing quiet pristine hideaway if you want privacy (can stroll for miles on the beach and not see a soul in sight!) but bit of s hassle if you plan to eat out a lot and do a ton of excursions to the south (be prepared to hire a scooter / pay for transport)

quiet paradise, hidden from stress”

When I stayed, the resort had recently opened. There were few other customers, and I felt I had the whole beach to myself. It is a bit far off, in the northeastern part of the island. I wanted to get away, and just relax, and this resort was perfect for my needs. Incredible feeling to walk from your bed, and after 20m you reach the sea! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and they served some incredible smoothies. The chef is a magician with flavours. No rocks on the beach, like some of the nearby resorts had. Some insects, ants found their way inside the bungalow, as is to expect when staying at 1st floor. A bit far off for excursions, so the last day of my visit to Phu Quoc moved further south on the island.

Very good resort, quiet, family atmosphere”

Quiet, not too big resort. It is about an hour's drive from the city by the beautiful beach. Very nice and friendly staff, especially the Miss Jenny department manager, thank you for a nice and family environment. Amazingplace to get away from Vietnams trouble”

Awesome and quite resort for thosewho want to spent some days off the noisy cities of vietnam. Nice resort with only a few rooms or bungalows, very good restaurant and nice beach with only a few people. It‘s a bit far away from abything else and therefore you need to take a taxi to reach the resort, but this is why it is a secret place for everyone who wants to enjoy the quite of the island.

Secluded and peaceful”

The Wild Beach Resort is located away from the crowded beaches of Phu Quoc. The sand is golden and the waves are gentle. lovely BUT”

This is a typical Vietnamese resort in the sense that it must once have been fantastic but then somewhat neglected since it was first built, maintenance being insufficient. The luxurious amenities were designed to comfort and impress, not least the spacious spa-like bathroom, which unfortunately had several holes in the roof so that, it being the rainy season, it always leaked and resulted in a wet and dangerously slippery tiled floor . I did slip and hurt myself, too. Shower was only cold water, which, in the rainy season, is less than ideal. The lazy old cleaning lady did a less than impressive job, and it took some insisting to get basic cleaning done properly. Kitchen staff were super helpful and friendly, however, and my final complaint did result in receiving a generous free meal... I'm writing this review a year later, as I'd initially decided not to write it while still upset, but what must be said must be said. I cannot recommend the place unless you know you won't have rain but only sunshine, meaning the cold showers and the slippery bathroom floor won't be health hazards

Excepcional”

Perfect location for those who are looking for a quite place to stay, very close to the beach. Very nice staff, Jenny was very kind and did everything for us. Free kayaks are a big advantage. Location was very clean, I felt I was in an oasis. Highly recommed to everyone!

Beautiful calm place with great staff”

Me and my husband loved our 3-nights stay at Wild Beach Resort and wished we could have stayed longer. The place is located right at the nice and quiet beach. The rooms are also nice, simply decorated but had everything we needed. Air-conditioner worked perfectly - while in many other places we stayed in Vietnam we had to turn off the a/c during the night and turn it on again since it did not keep the temperature and it was too hot or warm, in Wild Beach it kept the perfect temperature all the time. We also liked a lot the staff, especially receptionist (I think her name was Jenny - not sure if I wrote correctly). She was really friendly and cute and spoke good English. The food in the restaurant was not maybe superb but was completely fine and nothing to complain about. Place was also clean. It would be good if the dirt road that takes to resort would be in better conditions. Now it was really fully of holes and bumpy and it can be quite dangerous to go around with motorcycle.

Awesome”

My boyfriend and I experienced a wonderful journey here. We took the front beach room and its view was so fantastic beyond our willing. Holding hand, walking along the beach and kissing under the sunlight and sea breeze was so romantic. His voice from some favorite songs together with the sound from sea created the best rymth of my life. It’s a very nice place for every couple. Moreover, staff is very nice and effective. My boyfriend forgot his ID card there and they gave back to him immediately by express. Nothing to complaint except for the reason that it located too far from Phu Quoc Airport. Thank Wild beach Resort very much for our trip.

Beautiful and relaxing”

We loved Wild Beach Resort. The bungalows are very comfortable and the property and beach are quite nice. It is definitely a place to really unwind and relax. There are only a few neighboring resorts on this beautiful cove, so it’s quite quiet. But we did boat and taxi excursions to explore other places, and then were akways happy to come back to Wild Beach to relax. Jenny is fantastic and helped us organize everything. She and the rest of the staff do a great job making everything comfortable for their guests.

Small resort, very secluded and quiet, away from everything. Ideal if you need to rest.”

The resort was charming, small and secluded so very quiet. The road access is not very good so we chose not to leave it often on our 7 days stay. Enough variety in menu for a week stay, excellent food. Friendly and helpful staff! The beach is beautiful. We had a very relaxing time there!

Relaxing days ”

We spend 3 very relaxing days at wild beach resort. The staff is very nice and helpful to make the best out of your stay. Far away from the completely overrun and overrated Long Beach, this place is located directly at a beautiful beach surrounded only by a few authentic small beach resorts. You can rend a scooter and drive to the more populated places within 30 min. If you feel like spending a few quite days at the beach we can absolutely recommend it.

Beautiful resort ”

If you're looking a safe heaven away from the outside world, this is it. The resort was very beautiful and clean. Their staffs were the friendliest. We went there in June and the weather was quite rough on this side of the island. It was all good because we did get to swim between the rains and I think the peninsula nearby helped break the rough waves. The resort was quite empty the season we were there, so it's ideal for getting away from people, though it wasn't our plan. This place is quite far away from everything else on the island, so it's a great choice if you only plan to relax and enjoy the scenery and the beach. Overall we really enjoyed our time there. Staff 100%”

The best thing about this resort is the Staff. Oh it was quite also. From here, I find it difficult to be positive. There just seems to be something missing. the room was spacious and clean. The resort is about 2 km from the main road, and it is along a rough, potholed earth road that is well overdue for some maintenance. When you get to that main road, you still have to travel further to get food. (if you want something different from the resort food) so you will need transport of some sort. The breakfast was basic but acceptable for the 3 days I was there.. The room was lacking some essential fixtures like a fridge. There was no TV (not that I watch much but others might) There was no pool, It was right on the beach but after dark I feel that a pool is more acceptable. In general I felt that after the evening meal, the place was, well, it just had nothing going for it. At the reception area I did not see any small counter where I could purchase some small personal toiletries or what ever, that I may ran out of.

Lovely luxuriant garden by the sea”

Pros: very attentive staff, rooms just a few meters from the water, clean and comfy bungalows, lovely verandas, beautiful green garden. Cons: room was ready at 4pm, 2 hours after expected check-in time; checkout took over 30min and extra item was wrongly included in the bill; smoothies had very little fruit in them. Overall, we were absolutely in love with the place.
