El hotel esta en frente de la playa de Kuta. Está en la zona de bares, restaurantes, tiendas. Siempre que voy a Bali me quedo en esta zona, nunca antes había estado en este hotel y la verdad que ha estado muy bien. Calidad precio es bueno. Probablemente lo elegiré la próxima vez que vaya a Bali.
El hotel se encuentra en una zona turística, en frente de la playa. La localización es perfecta. Cerca de tiendas, restaurantes... Volvería a elegir este hotel si volviera a Bali.
De todos los hoteles en Kuta que hemos probado, éste es el que más nos ha gustado. Acceso directo a la playa, (con la comodidad que ello conlleva) y restaurante justo enfrente. Es un hotel realmente conveniente. Si quieres ir a la zona de fiesta y bares restaurantes, puedes ir caminando sin problema. El desayuno es muy abundante y hay bastante variedad. La única pega es que la habitación era bastante húmeda (se podía observar agua en el suelo) y lo disimulaban poniéndonos el aire acondicionado en lo más frío, yo prefería abrir la ventana del balcón (estábamos en la parte antigua del hotel, bastante más bonita que la nueva por cierto). Pero en general este hotel vale la pena, eso sí, nos costó unos 65€ por noche la habitación doble (no lo veo excesivo). Si volvemos a ir por Kuta, sin duda consideraremos el Grand Inna

The location is also outstanding—strategically situated within walking distance of local shops and essential amenities, making everything we needed easily accessible. The presence of three beautifully maintained swimming pools was a bonus, especially for families. My daughter had a wonderful time playing, and it was reassuring to know she was in a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment. One of the highlights for me was how well the hotel catered to guests with children. When I requested a baby crib again, the staff had already anticipated our needs and arranged everything seamlessly. That kind of proactive service is rare and deeply appreciated. I also had an early check-in, which was handled smoothly. The breakfast buffet offered a generous variety, and while everything was delicious, I think adding more vegetarian or vegan options could make it even better. The room itself was spacious, well-designed, and spotlessly clean. I stayed in the Grand Deluxe room with a super king-size bed—it was incredibly comfortable and made for restful nights. Overall, our stay was nothing short of exceptional. The thoughtful touches, dedicated staff, and family-friendly atmosphere made it an experience I’ll always remember. My husband and I had a great stay for2 weeks at Truntum. When we arrived we had booked a pool side room but unfortunately they didn’t have a room available so they up graded us to a suite which was on the 3rd floor. We were not very happy about it as we were with a group of friends who all had poolside rooms but when we saw our room it was very luxurious. We had the option to move into a poolside room 3 days later or stay where we were. We decided to stay in the suite. The staff were always wanting to please us if we had any queries and they always said hello when ever they passed. The food was amazing for breakfast, lunch or tea. We went to the shows which are held Mondays and Wednesdays. We all throughly enjoyed it (very talented staff) The pools are very clean and inviting. The only issue is getting a lounger. Some would put a towel out first thing in the morning then come and go as they pleased. Over all I recommend Truntum Hotel, thank you for our pleasant stay.
I was so surprised by my stay. I got a great deal and when i arrived the team were amazing. I was travelling alone with my 3 year old daughter Savannah's and the team made her feel so special. They even gave her a ride on the luggage carrier and pretended it was a train. She loved it. I was initially put into a room on the lower floor and it had a view onto a brick wall and was at the very end and felt a little daunting travelling on my own so i rang up and asked what the price was for an upgrade to a room with a view. The team not only complimentarily changed me to a room with a pool view they also gave me the option of a few rooms to make sure i was happy... i was blown away by that amount of care and hospitality. Every single staff member you walk past smiles and acts happy even when they are doing hard labour jobs that would be so hard all day - i hope they know they are appreciated. The guest services team went above and beyond. Checking in every day to make sure i was enjoying my stay. They spent loads of time with my daughter even minding her while i got upto get the buffet breakfast. The back pool is absolutely awesome. We spent the whole time in it and it had two baby pools positioned right next to the bar which meant i could sip on a coctail with my daughter splashing sadely beside me. I also love the steel railings that make it extra safe stopping my daughter being able to fall into the big pool. The room itself was incredible. Much better than i expected, it was spacious even with a massive king bed, it was IMMACULATELY clean and the bed was comfy. The room was restocked and bed made daily and it looked like a brand new room every time i walked in after breakky. They would put my daughters bunnies tucked in which looked soooo sweet!! The team that clean the rooms and keep the hotel looking immaculate truely don't get enough recognition. They do a phenomenal job and truely get overlooked. The place looks so well kept! I especially loved the happy hour that was rubbing at the pool bar almost all day $10 coctaile are so hard to come by in Bali and usually pool bars are exceptionally pricey but $10 coctails meant we could really make the most socialising at the pool. Thats the other thing i loved about my stay, everyone at the pool was so social and welcoming. The hotel do such a great job to make it a very relaxed vibe. Whilst i didnt take advantage of the hair braiding or foot massages i did think that the ladies walking around giving massages by the pool added to its overall relaxation as an option for guests - great idea. There wasnt anything i could fault. The only thing i think the hotel is misssing is opening up the pool bar at the sunset pool. It was sad to see that pool empty at such a beautiful time of day and i believe even opening that bar for the sunset hours would completely change the vibe of the hotel and make it that little bit more exciting for guests. Besides that ill definitely be back and i think at the price point it is, this hotel is incredibly value for money and worth absolutely every cent. I want to pay a special mention to Utik to was so accommodating in helping me find a room that made me feel safer i need to say her giving me a choice of rooms made my entire trip, her customer service skills are next level and she is a true asset to the company. Additionally Intan was PHENOMENAL. She checked in on me every day and took time to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Yani and Laksmi were also so beautiful and always beautiful welcominy faces to be greeted by! The other people i want to thank are the porters who help with bags... they do it non stop alll day - with a smile on their face. They are so patient and so professional and truely are an asset to the conpany. They also took time out to pay special attention to Savannah getting her fish food so she could feed the fish each day and making her feel special - this is something that made out stay one to remember and for that
This hotel has so many positives - three pools, beachfront location and easy proximity to shops and services. Fantastic breakfast, wonderful staff and comfortable bedrooms. We met many repeat customers.
The hotel has amazing facilities, very well located and the staff is specially nice and kind, always smiling and willing to help. Cleanliness is not the best I ever saw but it was correct, and knowing that you are sorrounded by nature and climate is specially wet its understandable. The towels both for bathroom and pool were old and not in the best conditions but you could request to change any time when they were wet. Breakfast is fantastic in front of the sea and in one of the pools. Hotel has 3 pools with bar inside the water with very affordable prices. Iniatially we took only 2 nights because we were planning to change the location, but we liked it so much that we decided to extend for other 4 nights.
We were very disappointed with our previous hotel and ask the room tour in this hotel. The Front staffs were very friendly and helpful, so we booked straight away for almost a week. The staffs were exceptional from the Bell boy, Front Desk, Restaurant staffs, Housekeeping, Pool and bartender staffs even until Security were soooo gooooodddd. The room was always clean, the breakfast menus were a lot of option, even if we were hungry the restaurant food was so good. The location is in front of Kuta Beach so it's easy to reach the beach just by walking. If you wanna shopping , the shops were around the hotel. The Security system was good so we always feel safe there. When we checked out at night due to out night flight, it was so smooth and easy because the staff was coming with the scale and check the weight of our luggage before taking them out. Thank you for your great service, we will be back when we visit Bali.
Let me start with the good review: - location is awesome, direct access to kuta beach which is this is the main reason why we decided spent the night in truntum. - one of the staff, which super helpful and understood my complaint an even explain the tips n trick for my room condition… - swimming pool is great, clean, fresh water, not too crowded.. How ever i have very bad experience in terms of my room since beginning. -I booked the room with notes and asked the pool view, but they said there is no available room with pool view, however i ask the other staff about the occupancy and said theres many room still available, and after complaint, they provide me with pool view but need longer time to wait but still acceptable. - the room is dirty, it seem not well prepared, but since we already tired the we decided to stay in that room - after take care our stuff, in the beginning we found no problem with the AC then we go for fresh air and back to hotel about 1 hour later and then we found the AC is having very disturbing noisy, super noisy..it sounding all night long, I think i only sleep for 1-2 hours - in the morning we request to switch the room and they try to accomodate which i really appreciated and the decided to proceed our request to other room and they said alresdy check all the things especially the quality of AC..again, in the beginning theres is no problem, seems its all good, but after 1 hour in the room, then we realized that our floor is wet, at first we think maybe the kids still wet from bathroom but after we dry the floor, then we found that floor is getting wet again, which of course this must be something not good with the AC. We asked the staff, then they explaint its because the AC is maybe not performed well. For me, if i stay with this not well AC all night, i afraid it will affect our health which i also have 19 months baby.. This is very disappointing..I try to ask the room what happened but no one explaint but they offer to switch the room.. after check the other room, i think its very2 not convenience time for us to move to other room, and we decided stay in the room but we shut down the AC… i reallly hope if they already move us due to complaint, at least they provide us with good room (checking n make sure everything is good) but what i got is unexpected room.. - breakfast is very limited menu, I can easily find much variety of menu in other hotel with similar stars.. So, for me, definetly will not come back to this hotel..even if its a business trip, if they put me on this hotel for free, will find other hotel.

The **hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and offers great value for money**. The rooms are well-maintained, and the facilities (pool, dining area, etc.) are lovely. What stood out the most was the **friendly and helpful staff, who made our stay even more enjoyable with their warm hospitality. One thing worth mentioning is that during the Bali-wide blackout, Truntum Hotel **was not affected** (or had backup power), which was a huge relief. It showed their reliability compared to other places in the area. I would highly recommendTruntum Hotel to anyone looking for a budget-friendly yet quality stay in Kuta. Will definitely return on my next trip to Bali!
Staff were awesome , very polite helpful and accommodating. The room was nice and spacious and clean and tidy . Enjoyed fast room service and breakfast every morning with something different on offer everyday. Large facilities half of which we didn't see because everything we needed was in the wing we were in . Enjoyed a party on the rooftop , again the staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay again . And hope to soon . Nice spot close to everything you need just by walking. And easy transport options near by if you want to get out further. Nice quick holiday , this spot had it all .
Great hotel very clean, great staff and great variety for breakfast. At breakfast they asked me if they could surprise my wife with a birthday cake. I agreed and the some staff came out sing happy birthday. When we went back to our room they had a beautiful display on the bed with happy birthday and a lovely message with flowers and sweets. It made my wife's day. Was a great holiday and we have booked again for later this year. Special thanks to the staff :)
We spent 7 days with our son and daughter-in-law and two grandchildren. We all loved the breakfasts and the direct access to the surf beach and clean sand and the pools. We liked our room without a balcony in the newer section looking out on the Kelapa Pool better than the rooms in the older section with balconies. We loved the activities for kids available on the beach , including the release of the baby turtles.
Stayed in a Grand Deluxe room for 7 nights. Was initially on the ground floor. Room safe didn't work and was eventually replaced, but was not secured properly. Room seemed a bit damp, and after hearing water dripping in the bathroom discovered that water was leaking through the ceiling above the shower. Ceiling was bulging and appeared to be an old problem by the amount of mould in the shower area. Disappointing first day, and we were then moved to a room on the upper floor with a pool view. This was much better. This section of the hotel is quite old, and rooms are starting to show their age. Comfortable enough though. Location is probably the best part of this hotel if you want to be in the heart of Kuta, and right on the beach. Swimming pools (3) were all good. Breakfast was a big disappointment. We have stayed at numerous hotels in Bali, and this was by far the most disappointing. Coffee was like black sludge, so we reverted to tea which was often empty and not refilled. Not enough food options. Egg stations were a saviour, and fruit was okay. We would be hesitant to stay here again, but may be tempted mainly because of the location.
1st time staying at the Truntum Hotel and everything was what we needed. Location is perfect with mini mart , spas , laundry outside the gate and taxis easy to get. Beach right next door . The buffet Brekky was amazing with a huge selection. Cafe coffees come at extra cost. There were themed nights for dining and shows. We had a pool side room at the kelepa pool which was clean tidy and replenished every day . The pool did fun stuff like a foam party on Tuesdays and water aerobics on Fridays. There were plenty of clean swimming towels available with a bar for drinks and food if requested. The swim up bar in the front was being renovated when we were there (we originally booked for the poolside rooms)so unfortunately I can not review but will definitely stay at this hotel again without hesitation. Check in check out a very easy process. There is a good money changer on the premises. The staff are amazing very helpful and friendly.

I recently stayed at Truntum Kuta Hotel in Bali for four nights. The hotel is quite old but well-maintained, with a sprawling layout that gives it a grand, nostalgic charm. We stayed here for 1 week, the hotel is clean and the rooms are comfortable the buffet breakfast was great, the only thing I had a problem with was the price of the drinks around the pool at around $17 including tax for 1 cocktail is very expensive, the drinks are small with very low alcohol content, had about 10 cocktails in the space of 2 hours and could of run a marathon this is my only disappointment. Other then that is a great hotel and the staff are lovely
The hotel is at a very nice location in kuta just next to beach giving u nice breakfast feeling.. i had gone with my one year old infant … the stay was pleasant and room was also clean.. just that they dont give u more than 2 water bottle per day which is a disappointment.. and also they charge for milk for infant which is mostly complimentary all over the world.. hotel should take in to notice about this
One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at! Staff is so friendly and attentive. Restaurant is well priced and meals delicious. The family room was spacious, clean and the staff surprised us one day by creating animals out of the towels - kids loved it! Room was cleaned everyday. The buffet breakfast was delicious, different options every day so we didn't get sick of it. We can't wait to stay at Truntum again!
We have stayed at the Truntum 4 years running location is perfect wish they had a gym .. some hotel areas could do with some up keep but very small things .. hotel has most things on offer well cleaned rooms comfy extra large beds. Breakfast is great but egg stations were super slow they need a work on for that in peak season we were waiting up to 40mins some mornings . Kids always enjoy truntum. For the price you get good value
My room overlooked one of the pools. It was a spacious room, very large king bed, good water pressure in the shower. I didn’t opt for the daily breakfast, but there are heaps of dining options within walking distance which is what I preferred for the 3 days. It’s in a very central location, just a shame the beach front is a mess! Overall it was a comfortable stay, I just wouldn’t stay in Kuta again, too busy for my liking.
We love returning to Truntum, the rooms are comfortable, with a range of movie channels. Three pools, great breakfast and events in the evenings if you want some entertainment and a little Balinese culture. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Not to mention the location, a few steps to the beach and plenty of shops/restaurants nearby. We regularly stay here, highly recommend!
• Absolutely excellent – highly recommended, can’t wait to return – nothing to fault • After a dive liveaboard trip, I stayed for 3 nights in a deluxe pool side room • awesome access through rear door of the room to the pool area, which always had plenty of sun lounges to enjoy & a small bar always ready to provide drinks – really quiet & hard to believe you are in the centre of everything. • Huge excellent quality pool towels provided near the pools • The room was spacious with super comfortable KS bed, lovely lounge • Inconvenient that there are only 2 power points at the desk – none bedside • Excellent location – right on the beach, separated by the footpath, making for spectacular sunset photos. By being tucked in the corner, it provides peace, tranquillity & solace, while still being so close to restaurants, cafes, markets, beauty/day spas, ATMS, money changers, mini marts – all things Bali! • Shampoo & body wash provided, along with soap bars. No conditioner or body lotion provided – but easy & cheap to stock up from one of the mini marts in close vicinity. 2 bath towels & hand towels provided – which were tired & could be easily replaced (the pool towels were better quality!?) No face washer provided.
Loved everything about Truntum! The resort is beautiful, the food is fantastic, the facilities that the resort have are also brilliant. The staff are always day in day out incredibly friendly. Stayed in the family room which had plenty of room for 4 ppl and was clean and tidy. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you Truntum!
Location is prime to everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The staff were so friendly and attentive at breakfast and just in general. We stayed in a grand deluxe in the older part and found it nice & quiet, breakfast was good, the view from there was nice. Overall this place is a family friendly vibe, with nice staff and reasonably priced food & drinks
This place was way bigger than we expected, has three pools and the rooms are so clean, air conditioning is brilliant and massive comfy beds. Staff are so accommodating and my only complaint would be you have to do the whole loop to get anywhere. That’s not the Hotels fault but the pool overlooking beach is always cooler and it was just such a great place, price was fantastic and Spa was also reasonably priced.
We had the most amazing time at Truntum. Our first time back in 7 years. The hotel itself is still as grand as it was located on the beach and close to everything you could want in Kuta. The staff were so attentive and friendly, the room were clean and the buffet breakfasts were delicious. We will be back next year with the family that's for sure.
Honestly there is nothing to complain about. In the heart of absolutely everything. Hotel is very clean. We stayed on the ground floor in a pool room with the numbers beginning with #241 The pools are plenty. Always have sun lounges available. We are not big on buffet breakfast and usually only have a coffee so we have skipped the buffet, although took a walk this morning to have a look and there was plenty on offer. If you are not into buffets there is so many cafes and restaurants. We will be trying the warung tonight at the front of the hotel as the smells coming back from dinner last night were mouthwatering. It looks amazing
Great location with excellent food options around and also in the hotel . Swimming pools were clean and hygienic . The resort also gave vouchers for pool drinks . The resort also had several in house activities and events to entertain house guests . Just an awesome experience .
The staff are wonderful at the Truntum the hotel is conveniently located. Rooms were cleaned each day, we stayed in the older rooms which do need updating but there is a newer section as well. If your looking for a base to just chill and your going out and about then this hotel serves the purpose. The breakfast is great and the dining menu also.
This is the most amazing hotel! 26 trips to Bali and this hotel tops them all. Food, service, room, cleanliness, pools everything is amazing. Photos are genuine and very accurate if anything they are not as good as reality. Perfect for first trip as well as seasoned travellers you will not be disappointed.
Nice and modern property located smack dab in the heart of Kuta by the beach. Several pools to choose from. Staff are all friendly and responsive. My Deluxe room was spacious, clean and modern. The King size bed is bigger than a usual King. A firm mattress, which I prefer. Bathroom had the basic amenities but missing body lotion. To us, it’s a negative! A small bottle of body lotion should be a must in this resort.
We have been staying at the Truntum Kuta at least once a year for the last 36 years. We think that its absolute beach frontage, in walking distance to a big choice of restaurants, shopping and other activities, makes this hotel hard to better for the price. On top of that, the hotel is very comfortable and the staff are wonderful.
So first time staying at Truntum and it was awesome. Hotel was very clean and it was old building renovated the only thing I would tell you that there’s no elevator which would help but stairs which is good exercise anyways, service was exceptional! I highly recommend this place because of its great service! The staff always smiling and happy to help, we loved our stay and looking forward to returning again, thank you

We really enjoyed this room. It was clean, modern and spacious, with a door to an outside patio with chairs, directly next to the pool. Good atmosphere at poool too. Had previously stayed in cheaper poolside room at back pool and room was old and tired. Definitely worth the extra if you want to stay at this resort.
The price is high for such a small room, but the wonderful staff make this place comfortable. Especially Dhea, who showed special and proactive concern when my boyfriend was ill for the last few days. She noticed he was off and prepared breakfast for him – a thoughtful gesture that only a human touch can truly offer.
We stayed in a Junior Suite at the Truntum to celebrate my 70th Birthday. Our suite was well appointed and large enough to entertain at least 20 of our guests as an after-dinner meeting point. Staff went out of their way to make our stay very comfortable as we had a party of 29 adults and children occupying a total of 15 suites. Our suite was very well serviced each morning by Gede. My 70th birthday celebration function was well coordinated by the most efficient Karina, the Ballroom was beautifully decorated and the buffet menu was delicious and thoroughly enjoyed by the 35 guests present. I would definitely recommend the Truntum since it is perfectly located in terms of access to the beach , a host of eating venues and shopping access without the need to use taxis or other transport means.
My second time in Bali and it was perfect! Came here for my birthday trip and it was the best decision ever made! The room is quite spacious and clean. Got partial seaview. I came when the weather was very very hot but the room aircond was cold and that's a plus point. On my birthday, the staff made a suprise during breakfsat with a cake and candle and even sent a dessert tray to the room right after - they really went above and beyond and this is really heartwarming! The breakfast spread was great, stayed here for 6 days and most of the menu changes each days. Love the restaurant and pool by the beach. Although when I came here the other part of the hotel was still under renovation, still managed to enjoy the rest of the facilities. Kudos to all the staffs for their excellent services and made my stay memorable! Will come back again next year April!
We booked the family room for 6 nights. The room itself was spacious. There was two bedrooms with a connecting door, kids love the bunk bed. The bad was comfortable. The room itself was on the 3th floor and there was no lift. Felt terrible with our bellboy who has to carry our luggages. Breakfast was OK, lots of choices.
Our experience at this property was fantastic! The location was perfect, with convenient airport access, great walkability, and a beautiful garden view. The facilities were excellent, featuring strong Wi-Fi and a well-maintained outdoor space. The staff was warm and welcoming, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay. We had a wonderful wedding anniversary vacation in this hotel. Our room ( deluxe poolside room ) was beautiful and had a nice location near the Kelapa pool. The king sized bed and the pillows were very comfortable. The staff of this hotel are so helpful,polite, and very nice. They helped us arrange our tours and our airport transfers. Location is perfect. The hotel is near the restaurants, ATMs, mall and local shopping area. St Francis Xavier Carholic church is near the hotel as well. They surprised us with a beautiful decoration in our bed for our wedding anniversary. They also packed 2 breakfast boxes for us as we had to leave early for our flight back. We highly recommend this beautiful hotel! Thank you Truntum Kuta Bali for such a beautiful wedding anniversary vacation in your hotel!
For the umpteenth time staying at this hotel, I’ve always been satisfied with the service and hospitality of the staff. The hotel’s location is undoubtedly excellent. However, the cleanliness and quality of the furnishings in each room need to be maintained to avoid disappointing guests with the room they receive. As for the breakfast restaurant, it might be good to add more fans or air conditioning to improve air circulation.
