Legian Beach Hotel is just so good that it keeps us coming back year after year! The location of the hotel is PERFECT, with the beach on your doorstep and a short stroll down the road to Garlic Lane and a multitude of shopping and dining options. We stayed in a Premier Pool Villa (upgraded) for this visit and it was pure luxury. The enormous bed was so comfortable and the pillow menu allowed us to have the pillows that were exactly right for us. The bathroom, including double shower and huge spa bath, was beautifully appointed with quality toiletries and super soft towels. We loved having our private swimming pool which was set amongst a tropical garden paradise. Will definitely book this class of villa again! Throughout the resort we used the restaurants and bars on multiple occasions. There was such a large food and beverage selection and the food and cocktails were always delicious! The buffet breakfast every morning was the best start to the day that you can imagine. One thing we love doing is having a facial and massage at Usada Spa within the resort. The therapists are so experienced and the products that they use are high quality and lovely. The large treatment rooms are set up so beautifully and are so peaceful, you literally float out after having a treatment. Aside from the wonderful facilities that Legian Beach Hotel offers, the staff are first grade throughout the entire resort. From the front office, concierge services, housekeeping, restaurants and bars, spa, right the way through to the gardeners and security, the staff are so beautiful presented, well spoken, helpful and friendly. They are just one of the reasons that this is our favourite place to stay when we are in Bali, and why we keep coming back! Thank you Legian Beach Hotel, can’t wait to see you again soon!

We had a lovely stay here at the Legian Beach Hotel. The hotel in our view, was very good value for the cost. The staff were very polite and courteous and always had time to say hello and even have a brief chat. The rooms were very clean, and the breakfast was plentiful, with lots of choice. The gardens were attended to everyday and looked amazing. The location for us was central to everywhere, where we wanted to visit and walk. The hotel was very efficiently run and as a couple we wouldn't hesitate coming back here to stay again. Thanks for all your staff for a wonderful 1 week break. We weren’t off to a great start on arrival . I had originally paid for a family room which was finalised 5 days prior to our arrival. When organising check in , they gave us two keys. When entering our room we had been allocated two rooms side by side. This wasn’t going to work with two kids. Back down to reception when I questioned and the were adamant they were interconnecting. Which they were not. Back and forth wanting the room I had payed for , they tried to give us another set of interconnecting rooms. I declined and wanted the family room we had booked 8 months prior and finalised payment 5 days ago. To which they couldn’t fullfil. They eventually put us in a bungalow for the night where we would move to an upgraded family room with mezzanine the next day. 4 hours this took and we waited around in the lobby with no room to settle into. Turns out, the rooms we had booked haven’t even been built yet!!!! After finally getting sorted and somewhere to sleep the rooms were lovely and clean. Some of the best pillows I had ever slept on. While I will definitely recommend this hotel, I would be cautious booking the superior family rooms as a this point the stil don’t even exist.

Very comfortable bedding, awesome house keeping and beautifully kept gardens. Well done to the gardener's. Friendly staff overall, great choice at breakfast with egg stations and pastry/ donuts (coffee not so good too bitter) you can order barista coffee for a charge. Pool's are refreshing and relaxing, spa service was excellent. Downside was some nights you could hear the neighbours talking through the wall so it took away from the overall relaxing vibe, the bungalows have a layout in blocks of 2 and 3. I would stay again.

Stayed just overnight at Legian Beach Hotel, as the hotel we booked very near here had one night where they couldn’t accommodate us. This hotel is a Lovely hotel centrally located right on beachfront on Legian Beach. Superb for shopping, eating places and an easy walk along the footpath or beach path to Beachwalk Mall where we enjoyed several very good meals during our stay in the area. Breakfast was very nice with everything you required for a delicious start to the day….the setting at breakfast was amazing with the restaurant perched high , so beautiful view over the beach and trees surrounding the dining area where squirrels played happily in the branches! Sun lounges along the front of hotel overlooking the beach and road/path were great …plenty of time could be spent lounging and crowd watching from this great vantage point ! Adult pool was nice…not as big as I expected…but plenty of lounges and nice gardens. Plenty of room and lounges at the family pool too, complete with its own raised sundeck also…. We stayed in a garden bungalow 12c which was only meters from the pool…these rooms are very nice with lovely spacious bathroom , and probably the most comfy bed and pillows I’ve had in Bali…in 30 years of holidaying here🥰. Room was well lit which was good as the beautiful thatched roof bungalows were a little dark being only one level. But being situated in highly manicured green gardens the setting was beautiful. Plenty of room between bungalows with two bungalows to a structure. Highly recommend.

Love love love Legian Beach Hotel. It's beautiful we kept gardens, your in paradise. The room, we had beach bungalow and it is amazing. Spacious, clean, huge bathroom and walk in shower. The bed, well was fabulous. We felt like we were in seperate postcodes haha OMG. The pools. Really fantastic. Clean and well maintained. Loved the adults only pool. Everything is so close to hotel location. Beach across the road and Melasti st through other entrance. Our stay was for 17 days. And we can't wait to do it all over again. I wouldn't go anywhere else now.

We had a wonderful stay at Legian Beach Hoetl and truly enjoyed every moment. The place is beautiful, very clean, and well presented, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere that made us feel comfortable straight away. We stayed in the Deluxe Villa Room, which was spacious, well maintained, and thoughtfully set up. It felt private, peaceful, and perfect for unwinding after a long day. A couple of issues. On our last night we had an intruder attempt to force entry into one of our rooms. They were calling out the name of the person who made the booking ( my name) not the actual occupant of the room. They could have only gotten that information from the hotel. Called security and they didn’t care. Spoke with reception who also didn’t care. It was on our last night otherwise we would have moved hotels. Also , small issue, but one that really effected our stay. They serve warm beer at the swim up bar. I have been looking forward all year for a cold beer floating around the pool . We tried every day’ it was always the same. Luke warm beer poured into a hot plastic mug. We advised the hotel who shrugged it off. Anyway, I’d go somewhere else a bit safer that serves a cold beer. Buffet was nice though .

1st time staying at Legian beach hotel. We booked a package deal with Agoda & were given a hotel room near the front of the resort. Very nice room, clean and good aircon however faced garlic lane & could hear very loud music until the early hours . Adults pool & family pools were great. Restaurant was good but probably a little expensive compared to the large resort next door. We paid for breakfast on our 1st morning but decided to get breakfast elsewhere as very expensive for what was on offer.

The hotel is great, my room was amazing, clean and spacious! The staff went above and beyond, be it regular room cleaning or a random request or even the guard automatically helping you cross over to the beach safely, always smiling and super courteous! Location was amazing too, right in front of the beach which made beach activities super easy, hop over to the beach and hop back whenever. Money exchanges and great restaurants right outside too, couldn’t have asked for more

First impressions often shape how you remember a place—and unfortunately, our start here wasn’t great. That said, I wouldn’t want it to overshadow what was otherwise an Excellent overall experience. 1] The check-in experience was disappointing. Official timing is 3 pm, whereas many hotels are more flexible with 1–2 pm check-ins or at least accommodate early arrivals upon request. The team here was quite rigid about the rules, and only after we personally checked and pushed them—when the room was clearly ready—did they finally allocate it. This initial attitude really set a poor tone. 2] The location is fantastic. We’ve stayed at all three nearby properties—Padma, Bali Mandira, and now Legian Beach—and each offers a distinct vibe. Padma feels more polished, upscale, and modern (which reflects in the pricing), while Bali Mandira and Legian Beach lean towards lush, green, tropical villa-style surroundings—perfect for those who enjoy a more natural ambiance. 3] The breakfast buffet is largely similar each day, but the spread is extensive and of high quality. You can easily try different options across multiple days. A standout feature is the 3–4 live egg stations, which means no long queues and the ability to get your eggs just the way you like them—a great way to start the day. 4] The squirrel feeding area is a delightful touch. Watching these tiny, lively creatures is both calming and enjoyable, and adds a unique charm to the stay. Overall, it’s a great choice if you want to stay in the heart of Seminyak/Kuta, with a relaxing, nature-inspired atmosphere.

It was pleasant staying in the hotel for a few days. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. Beautiful gardens! Staff were friendly and polite. Breakfast was excellent. Menu selection for lunch and dinner were ok. The local/Balinese food would need to be taste more authentic. The fresh fruit juices were delicious. The beach was right on the doorstep. I enjoyed walking a long the beach every morning and watched surfing. In the afternoon to see nice sunset. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bali.

Great hotel for the kids. The deluxe family rooms were a little far away from the pool area but not a problem. Some Rooms are being updated so there was construction happening but it didn’t affect us at all! Beds where comfortable and rooms where clean and spacious. Kids loved the main large pool but The swim up pool bar in the adult only which I would have loved if I didn’t have my kids with me! Buffer Breakfast was Awsome ! Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again!

My wife and I spent 6 nights at the Legion Beach Hotel. We both thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Our Garden Villa was very spacious, clean and well maintained each day. The shower was great , plenty of hot water available and the pressure in the shower was excellent. The breakfast here is to die for. Great selection to choose from and there was 3 egg stations so really not much wait time. Although most people did not see or use the 3rd station. The pools were great and the water temperature was around 30- 31 all the time. We both found the staff very helpful.

Very nice motel, very clean, comfy beds, great breakfast. Lovely staff. The only let down was i booked a garden view room and got a room with no view, that was the only thing we were very disappointed with.

We did 3 nights in the deluxe garden view villa. We had 31A and was very happy with our room. Extremely clean, staff were lovely and we were surprised with lovely welcome drinks, mini desserts, a bottle of wine, turn down service with biscuits and little goodnight messages. Restaurant was a little overpriced however. As location was great there was many many options to eat out. Would definitely stay again.

Great resort with beautiful grounds. Greeted warmly by all staff from checking in till checking out. The resort feels very quiet and relaxing despite being just on the doorstep of the lively Legian Beach and street. My family booked the deluxe beach bungalow. The room itself is spacious and clean. Very close to the swimming pool and beach as well as the restaurant. Breakfast spread could be better but was decent enough.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming from the mo ent we arrived. Everyday they say good morning and have big smiles as you walk by them. Our house keeper DEWA was fantastic. He kept our room clean, made us towel animals and was always willing to fit in with our daily schedule. I really hope the hotel rewards him for his efforts. Compared to other hotels in the area, this is great value, especially for a large, tropical feeling resort! Good location and generally very friendly staff... the only exception would be the Reception staff! But I think I understand why there's less smiles... they regularly have to deal with guests complaints about theirs Deluxe Rooms! If your assigned an inward facing Deluxe Room, away from the main road... wonderful, large, nice aspect and quiet. But... if you get an outward facing room, especially the ones looking over nextdoor's carpark... they're smaller, have a crappy outlook and have horrible, loud, karaoke blasting out from around 7pm until long after you finally fall asleep... if you do fall asleep! 🤯 Despite knowing the issues and making repeated prior requests for an inward facing Deluxe Room, we were still assigned one looking over the neighbours carpark and the racket was even worse than I'd expected!! Thankfully they moved us to a peaceful room the next day. I would strongly recommend that Management create an extra room category (ie Standard Room), charge a cheaper rate and note it doesn't face the resort! That way, there should be much less angry complaints and guests don't feel ripped off... a win-win situation for all concerned! Apart from that... we really liked this little oasis! 😉👌

Upgraded to a pool villa. Luxurious room with every comfort including bath and separate shower. The kids pool is fantastic and i like that there is a seperate adults only pool. Staff are warm and welcoming. Doctor on site which was so important when my daughter got an infection. Only thing that can be improved is the availability of a kids menu. Overall a fantastic stay and ill be returning for sure!

This property offers fantastic value for the location, with a clean environment and friendly staff that truly enhance the experience. The pool area is a highlight, providing a safe and enjoyable space for children to play, while the spacious rooms ensure everyone has enough room to relax. Excellent location - close to heaps of good restaurants/pubs, money changers, massages etc , great buffet breakfast, lovely staff. We have stayed here multiple times in a garden bungalow & noticed recently that the rooms are looking a bit tired. We had issues with our aircon, the water wasn’t hot in the shower & the safe had to be changed out. We will probably stay again if the price is good.

I loved the fact that it was central and close to markets, and good restaurants. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our rooms were very clean and spacious. The two pools were great with plenty of very comfertable poolside chairs. Great breakfast..everything about this resort was great. We'll definitely be going back again, and I highly recommend it 👌

Very good resort at Legian. The location is superb and the resort is a mature and pleasant hotel with gorgeous greenery just beside the beach. The room as very clean, spacious and bright. TV had loads of streaming services and free to air TV for your viewing consumption. Only catch was that the water in the bathroom had a peculiar smell. Breakfast buffet was great too, with loads of choices, both hot and cold meals. Service from staff was excellent - all helpful and friendly. This resort is strongly recommended! And great value for money too!

Fantastic location, close to beach, shops, restaurants, bars. Lovely family pool which was huge and very deep. Always found a lounger. Staff very efficient. Rooms comfortable with all amenities (fridge, tea coffee , toiletries, tissues etc). Lots of room types to choose from according to your budget. If you can get when there is a special on, then even better.

Hotel and bungalows are in a very nice tropical feel with the gardens flowers palms etc . However on the whole I did not feel it justified the very high priced room rates . Checkout is 12.00 noon. Late checkout is 13.00 . Still does not help if one doesn't have a flight until 23.45 . Upon asking if I could pay for an extension. I was told no not in my room but in another room. Total cost would be $150 and check out time is 18.00hr . Not acceptable ! Management ( who are all very unfriendly not in the least accomodating and penny pinching) insisted that this was 50% of the going online price ! Not true .The whole object of the facility seems to be geared towards making that extra dollar . Breakfast dining area is open large and very nice . The buffet has a wide variety of items and plentiful. However having to pay for lattes ( not cheap) is ridiculous . The coffee provided was hit or miss one dsy its so very strong the spoon could stand up in it . next day mediochre . Tea I think one bag was used in the caraffe . Water . The breakfast staff chssed you down if they thought you hadn't given in your room number .Embarrassing especially when you'd already given it in. Pool is on the smaller side One pool is for Adults and children the second pool is for Adults only . Obtaining pool towels you have to wait whilst they write down the numbers from each and every towel you take out . Removing a towel from the property is liable for 550.000 rp. I get that many people like to steal towels . but was a bit over the top. The usual food drinks were obviously much higher priced than outside . Spa was I'd say more than double the price from outside . However you could earn a 20% discount voucher if you left the card on your bed for not changing the bed sheets or towres everyday .Which is a good idea to save costs / energy etc but it still didn't make the spa prices attractive . After staying here for 11days and comparing it to other hotels we'd stayed just beforehand .I would not stay here again . There was mould in the shower and toilets in all the kalking . Which is an easy fix . but I found it disgusting an unhealthy . There were no toiletry items incase one had forgotten their razor of toothbrush etc . No body lotion either . On the plus side the soap/ shampoo and condiotioner were in large bottles attached to the wall and not the disposable ones . The beach area has been cleaned but still find plastic bags cips etc floating around in ghe ocean. yuck . Loungers umbrellas etc are rental . no special area for hotel guests . We spent our remaing hours at a hotel near the airport which ..I could've had 3 rooms for the price they charged at Legian for 5 extra hours . I think management should take a lesson in hotel hospitality and definately retrain their Reception staff to be at least friendlier and more accomodating .

What a fantastic hotel! I took my daughter here to celebrate finishing year 12 and we couldn’t have had a better stay. The location is perfect and the rooms are super comfortable and clean. Our stay at Legian was absolutely amazing! The property is huge and beautifully maintained. The rooms are stunning, especially the cottages with their own outside veranda — the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. There is so much greenery all around, which makes the whole place feel calm and refreshing. The breakfast was a big highlight of our stay, such a huge variety of food that no one will go hungry, that’s for sure! Everything was fresh and delicious. The welcome drinks were also very tasty and a lovely touch when we arrived. The beach bar and pool area are just beautiful, creating the perfect holiday vibe. Being right at the beach and so close to many food options makes the location even better. Overall, this property is definitely worth a visit. We would love to come back again!

Fantastic location, hotel is super clean, nice breakfast, stayed in deluxe, unfortunately renovations occurring next door so noisey, they did offer to move rooms but if I had known before booking would have chosen another room. Adult pool gets busy isn’t a huge pool and lots of people. Would stay again! Value for money for what I paid!

Loved our stay , the hotel is beautiful with lush gardens , clean renovated rooms. Bed and pillows comfortable. Staff lovely and the location is the best . Only concern was our room number 305 was loud at night from the bars on garlic lane , so if noise is an issue request a room not facing garlic lane .

Arrived at midnight, 16 year girl and 18 year old boy children put into a room with one bed despite specifically asking for one to be twin. by 1am we were told it couldn’t be sorted tonight so my daughter had to sleep on the ‘fold out’. Which was awful and not what we paid for.. Housekeeping were lovely. Asked for a quiet room, we were right over the extractor fans, so noisy, see our view as well, definitely a room with no view. It seems they don’t listen to room requirements/requests, so don’t expect to get want you’d like or what you really need. sure if your 18 year old boy and 16 year old daughter can share a bed but mine certainly can’t. They did get a room but took holiday time away, nothing offered by way of apology either not even after questioning if I had even asked, states clearly on my confirmation, which is disappointing . Hotel is beautiful staff are lovely, food drink pools all great. Location fantastic. Horrible start.

This was not my first stay at this lovely hotel, and I was excited to return. I had booked a garden-view room, which I loved upon arrival. However, my excitement quickly faded when I realised there was a group of cats living in the roof above me. Their screeching and banging kept me awake all night. The hotel staff moved me to a bungalow near reception, which they called an “upgrade.” Unfortunately, this room was dark, with broken items, a non-functional safe, and no decor on the walls, making it feel unwelcoming. I also noticed the bungalow next door was being renovated, so I suspect the one I was in was due for an upgrade as well. Still, it was preferable to the cats. Unfortunately, my stay in the bungalow was interrupted again when a heavy leak directly above my bed woke me up in the middle of the night. I was moved once more, this time to a beautiful bungalow with no issues. While this room was great, I lost a lot of valuable holiday time dealing with these disruptions, not to mention the lack of sleep. On top of this, I encountered a troubling incident while getting help with connecting the TV system after all the room changes. The IT staff member resolved the issue but then asked for my phone to link it. Specifically, he asked for access to my Google account, which I found odd. After he left, I checked my phone and discovered he had searched “f***ing playing,” which brought up inappropriate websites. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable, especially as a solo traveler. While the hotel has its positives, this experience left me disappointed and hesitant to return.

Overall very great amenities, relatively clean excpet we had hair in the shower drain from the last patrons. Room 116 was a bit noisy being on the ground floor with the staff service area just behind. Its also the nearest the entry and lifts. Pools and shower rooms for day of departure were just excellent 👌

Third stay at this property and it lived up to all of our expectations. We stayed in a Garden Bungalow and the room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Housekeeping kept it this way throughout our 3 week stay. Great pools, excellent dining options and a fantastic central location. Highly recommended.

I have stayed at the Legian Beach Hotel a few times now, and always thoroughly enjoy my stay. The highlights: - Buffet breakfast: sensational and the best I have had in Bali - The staff: all staff are wonderful and friendly, but the housekeeping staff are a standout - Cleanliness: my room was reset to perfect each day I did not really have many issues when I stayed. My airconditioning in my room was not working on my second day which i reported to staff. Within an hour the maintenance team were there and replaced the unit. Only small thing was that I could not get the TV casting to work with my device. Not a huge issue at all as i was still able to login to Netflix directly on the TV. I did not report this when i was there, but i'm sure it could have been resolved if i did.

Lovely one night stay at Legion beach hotel. Room was large, clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was plentiful and varied albeit the atmosphere was very loud and the restaurant hot and stuffy as its outside so only ceiling fans as opposed to aircon. The grounds and pools were Lovely. Our room was great but I hated the fact we had no view on our balcony it was enclosed with a concrete wall. We didn’t even get daylight . I’ve stayed at many cheap hotels with beautiful garden views from the balcony. I was only there for three days so put up with it but longer stays no way. The rooms across the hallway had ocean/garden view balconies . Maybe if I paid more I would’ve got those rooms. The food and drink is a bit expensive but The breakfast is amazing (look it up on YouTube) eat a late big breakfast then you’re not hungry until dinner. The staff were very lovely. The pools are nice although my son was disappointed he was told to stop doing bombs in the kids pool. Maybe they can have an hour or two designated to bombing time after all there is a separate pool for the adults to relax. Location is perfect by the beach and next to melasti street for great restaurants and shopping.

The bungalows are a must have over some of the rooms. The resort has lovely gardens, it’s in a good location, the pools are nice, especially the adults only pool but more policing must be put in place to stop people reserving sun lounges for hours & hours & not even using them, or reserving the beds & not even being onsite at the facility. This was extremely annoying where people arrived wanting to sit around the pool but were unable to do so due to the hotels green towels being placed on the beds by inconsiderate guests….yet nothing was done about this by hotel staff. So that was disappointing. Breakfast was more than adequate but fresh orange juice would be nice over the syrup type orange drink they serve. A decent departure lounge for guests would be a very welcome addition to the resort facilities rather than their tiny room with a couple of showers in it that they have currently. Would also be nice to have a sauna, or steam room & a gym which I personally didn’t see on the property. With a few added additions & a bit of fine tuning, the resort would elevate itself from a good resort to a fabulous one. Overall though, good value for money in a great location & I would stay again.

We are a family of 6, 2 adults and 4 children. The children are 15, 8, 7, and 1. We stayed in the Junior Family suite which was excellent. The older children stayed on bunk beds and the baby slept with us. There is also a couch / daybed than can be turned into a bed as well. The rooms were great, with google cast tvs and the beds were separated into 2 rooms with sliding glass doors. A small bathroom that was super clean and beautifully furnished with a giant deep bath and enormous double shower. The breakfast buffet is huge and had something for everyone even the fussiest child and is all inclusive. The pool is great, huge with a water slide and a shallow pool attached to the big pool so everyone has fun. Right close to the beach and super family friendly, the staff are amazing and the children ( and parents) love it. Will definitely be staying here again.

Loved staying here. So central yet so quiet. Best buffet breaky in Bali. Laundry service is quick. Staff are so helpful and our bungalow garden villa was clean and amazing. The bed was like sleeping on clouds. Highly recommend

We hadn’t been to stay in this hotel for many years and we were pleasantly surprised. It was always a good hotel but they have done many upgrades since then to make it one of the better places in the area. We had a bungalow. The room was spacious and clean. We had interconnecting room with other family which was handy. There are 2 pools - 1 for adults and 1 for families, good idea. The restaurant is very good and breakfast buffet was excellent. Staff were fantastic and friendly. Garlic Lane is just behind hotel. Plenty of restaurants to choose from in area and lots of markets and small shops close by all in walking distance. Would highly recommend

Was here as solo Mum with 1-year-old baby. So much bigger and nicer than I expected! Staff are so lovely. Rooms are clean and nice. Huge shower and separate bath tub. Fun on site bar. Close to walk to everywhere, nice area and best of all for young kids it's right across road from an epic Aussie restaurant that has a full playroom! The hotel is also great with nannies and will organise a badge for them. Room was so comfortable and well set up, fridge, couches etc. Actually we were so busy we didn't even get time to try the kids club or the pools but they looked great. Next time I stay longer!

I highly recommend staying at Legian Beach Hotel. The entire property is exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained, with lush tropical gardens and immaculate grounds that create a relaxing Balinese atmosphere the moment you arrive. The swimming pools are fantastic—plenty of space to cool off, comfortable loungers, and a brilliant swim-up bar that makes it very easy to settle in for the afternoon. It’s the perfect place to unwind with a cold drink and soak up the holiday vibe. Breakfast is another highlight. The buffet is terrific with a great range of options to start the day, whether you’re after something light or a full breakfast. Location is spot on as well—right on the beach and within easy walking distance of everything in Legian. In the evenings the sunsets are absolutely epic, making it the ideal spot to relax, watch the sky light up over the ocean, and truly enjoy Bali. If you’re looking for a place to chill out, enjoy great facilities, and experience Bali at its best, this hotel ticks all the boxes. Highly recommended. 🌅🍹🌴
