Great location”
This is my 3rd time stay here. The location is great, very near to Harbour City and you can find many stores around this hotel. The room is kinda old but still clean and well maintained.

not bad but could be better”
marco polo is in the main shopping area of the ocean terminal so location is very good. but the place needs a bit more improvement and maybe some sprucing up is needed to update the feel and look of the rooms. one notable improvement that can be made is the staff courtesy and noise from the lobby can be somewhat daunting when the lobby is packed and the lines in the counter are so slow.

This hotel located in very convenience for almost everything, Shopping places, Ferry Terminal to go to Hong Kong side and nice restaurant. You can use the hotel restaurant or lobby bar for business talk. The room is big, clean and completed amenities and all necessary things you need.

The check in was really slow. One staff has already confirmed that I made a booking through Agoda. But still took more than 40min to check in and was told the room was not ready. We had to go shopping and came back to get a room (we were told been upgraded. But the truth was not. It was exactly the room I booked from Agoda picture). The location is really good in the middle of harbour city but 15min walking from MTR station. There is an express checkout box. Just put your key in the box to avoid a long wait.

I know it was the holiday season and there was a lot of guest but it's hotel should have adjusted and never compromise on the cleanliness. In our room, in particular, we needed to call house keeping to clean the toilet since it was really dirty and smelly even after their routine housekeeping. Room was carpeted and the dirt we saw the day before was still there till the following day. One thing they have going for them is their location.

Awesome Staff, Great Location, but not so clean ”
Marco Polo HongKong Hotel located beside the Harbour City which is the biggest shopping mall in HK, so its convenience for shopaholic family, The room so huge compare with hotel in HK, Staff so nice, easy checking in and checking out, the room service's food so tasty and clean presentation, for some room have spectacular view to harbour and HK beautifull view, but i a bit dissapointing is the corridor from lift to room smell a bit not so fresh and kind moldy maybe because of the old carpet and also prepare yourself to handle hotel without parking area in front of hotel so you need to drag the luggage with or without hotel staff to bring the luggage beside roadway

Maybe it was just the time of the year, but staff customer service was not very good”
It took me one hour to check in when there were only 2 other patrons in front of me, and when I went to another desk to ask if I could be cheked in there instead, I was shooed away back to the check-in line. I know Hong Kong is notorious for not so friendly customer service, but I felt like it took way too long to be acknowledged by the staff. Other than that the hotel was ok, but nothing spectacular. The only thing really that was worth the stay was the location. I had a friend stay over at another hotel for a similar price, and the rooms and service were much better, and pretty much located in the same area.

Breakfast tricks”
We booked a room harbour view and breakfast which 2 time more expensice than other rooms. Actually we could see a coner of some pier from the room and we got real trick with breakfast. For our double price theyt offer "very special" breakfast in Cantone Club with 2 sandviches, 2 chips and 1 rice soup only. Next day we asked staff if we can have "common" buffet breakfast as for other rooms, but they said "NO", so we had to pay $250 HK more for every breakfast. We used to stay in many hotels with "Club" service, but they offered a choice to have breakfast in the Club or common breakfast. Actually we didn't book any Club, we just ordered a room with harbor view and breakfast, but we got a trick which they use to rob clients.

Not warned about ongoing construction and the extent of disturbance”
The room we had was small and the windows were completely taped from the outside with ugly dirty tape. There was noise from workers who were working at the scaffolding right in front of the window. It was impossible to open windows or have any daylight in the room - dark, small, depressing. And for the price of 750 per night due to the last day of the fair. When booking two nights separately the second night was priced at half of that. Totally awful. We left the hotel and booked the W - even though no return or any compensation was offered.

everything is okay except room condition ”
location is great. right next to harbor in the shopping mall at tsum sa tsi but pretty far from MTR station. nice and clean bath room i havent been any other hotel in HK but the carpet and room smell mold. we changed room three time but the crew was very courteous.

Best location in Kowloon for first timers in HK. Staff are very friendly. I booked Harbour view room and it was best choice I made. Couldnt change the hotel and kept extending my stay! Make sure you get harbour view and highest floor to enjoy!

The hotel is an oasis from the heat and bustle right outside. Location is ideal for easy access to the ferry to Hong Kong Island and shopping in Canton Road vicinity. I had excess luggage that the Concierge neatly wrapped before I travelled. Breakfast good by hotel standards and the Premium Room excellent.

Marco Polo Hong Kong has excellent beds that envelop you and you just fall asleep. Woke up mid morning each day. Very good service and response to requests. Concierge Errol is tops for searching a movie theater showing Wonder Woman at our preferred time.

Staff not friendly band rude. The room is very dirty old and smelly. Customer must stand on their ground and don't let the hotel management bullying them to accept anything less than what you pay for
