If you are looking for a calm and peaceful stay with the main attractions in nearby, then go ahead. The staffs are polite and quite helpful in guiding us. Moreover you receive a feel of your own home. The only negative I see is, there is no daily room cleaning service. You receive your neat and tidy room, but expected the cleaning service every day.

The staff is good and very helpful, but because the place is an old structure, even the basic facilities were not maintained well, like washrooms were not cleaned till asked for. There were cockroaches in the room and needed cleaning.

Excellent staff, beautiful room ”
We have been staying at the Esparan Heritage for five days now and are delighted with all it has to offer. We were only supposed to be staying two nights but can't seem to leave as we're so happy here. The staff have catered to our every need, they're always happy to help with a smile. Our room is beautiful and perfect - extremely comfortable four-post bed, elegant furniture, wood beamed ceiling, safety deposit box, TV and a very modern bathroom - and in my opinion great value for money. The staff have been ever helpful in both helping us with information on the local area and catering for our stay - we get asked what we would like for breakfast the following morning, if we need anything bringing to the room, if we would like the room cleaning, a night guard and morning wake up calls if required (with tea and toast!) The manager says he wants to create a place where anyone that stays here can get whatever they need so he is very open to suggestions and happy to oblige This is a place I would definitely recommend staying if you visit Pondicherry.

Fantastic Heritage Hotel in a very interesting part of town.”
We stayed here in a beautiful room, it was our favourite room in all of our India holiday. Our room was so cool and after site seeing in the heat coming back to relax was really lovely. The location is fantastic in the heritage area but still with a very vibrant local vibe. We had a balcony to look out over the street scene below. Our breakfasts in a great upstairs breakfast room were really delicious. Also the staff here were helpful and made us feel really welcomed from the moment we arrived. We were sorry to leave here and will be back. Well done to all David
