      Such a pity”

      Gorgeous venue, very friendly owner, menu looked amazing but nobody wears maks. Stressing about covid is not the best way to enjoy a place like that. Such a shame.

      Enjoyed our stay, even though there was no water and electricity in the morning due to generator being faulty after power outage. They gave us tokens of a apologized. Genuine people and great stay.

      We stayed at Esther's Lodge over the Valentine's weekend, it was blissful! Esther and her husband are both very involved at the lodge and ensures the best service. Tasty food, clean, relaxing and friendly. We would love to spend another weekend there in the near future. I do most definitely recommend Esther's Country Lodge.

      What a lovely place Esther has in the Magaliesberg. I traveled with 2 friends & on the second night we had the place completely to ourselves! What a treat. Comfy beds, lovely grounds and pool, great wifi, fabulous breakfast (and suppers in the restaurant!). Esther went out of her way to ensure we were well taken care of and my guests from the UK were impressed overall with the quality of accommodation and service. I will definitely stay here again - thank you Esther!

      Incredible hospitality”

      Esther’s place was clean, well-appointed and very relaxing. Esther herself was an amazing host - even though the restaurant was closed on Sunday evening (which we had not realized), she offered to cook us dinner and whipped up an incredible gnocchi with pesto. Lovely long lazy breakfasts on the veranda, and a gorgeous yoga studio with incredible views.
