Great breakfast”
We enjoyed our stay there and the breakfast was really good and they changed it every day. Location was also good. Wifi didn't work that well.
HI Iida, thank you for staying with us. Thank you for appreciating the varied breakfast we serve our guests. The internet is really something which needs improvement not just in the island of El NIdo but the Philippines. we can only hope that service becomes better in the near future. Signal is grossly dependent on the weather because fiber optic connection is yet to come. That is why wifi connection is free and that we have both Smart and Globe wifi is not an assurance that one will get connected instantly.
So close to the city”
Easy spot to get to and from all of the major tours leaving points. Staff at the hotel were unaware we were coming but very quickly got our room ready for us and didnt make us wait long. During our stay the staff were very kind and always happy to help out. Theres somewhere to hire a bike 2 doors down which does good pricing and dont try and rip you off. Would definitely return again
Very good value for money”
Location was great and they have complementary breakfast, which is rare in the Philippines for this kind of accomodation. They even serve it at 5am when you have to catch the ferry! We really enjoyed our stay
Good Hotel in El Nido Town”
We were just a couple but we booked the loft room and it was spacious for a family at affordable cost. Good airconditioning. Kind staffs. Amazing free breakfast. Good internet connection. Walking distance to the boat port and to restaurants and establishments. Quiet location. Cons: low water supply. We ran out of water twice and we have to wait for the tank to be refilled before we can take a bath. Mosquitoes were around so make sure to bring your insect repellant.
Good hotel”
Because the price of El Nido is too high, it is no surprise that the price of the hotel is high. Services and facilities are sufficient. There is no problem if you only stay. The location is good. Close to the beach, there are lots of shops around.
Nice place at a good price”
In a quiet street, has a comfy bed, clean and a friendly owner. Free breakfast and the staff even went out to get me a trike for the airport while I was having breakfast. If the internet was good it would be a perfect 😊
Good overall”
Pros: good location, good value for money, breakfast is decent, close to everything, staff is accommodating. Cons: mosquitoes find their way into the room, AirCon was leaking on us right outside the room, showerheads need to be maintained, since our room was right next to the garden, we had a few scary crawling guests (I politely let them back out). Depending on your standards you might like it or hate it - it was a generally good stay for us.
Extended stay at this delightful BnB”
See my previous review, but for about £3 extra each a night we got a private bathroom with hot water, which we thought was worth it. It's still expensive for what you get by mainland Asian standards, but compared to some or the accommodation in El Nido it's very competitive. Just to note they are building new rooms on the facing street, so there's construction noise in the day time.
Great value for the location”
This proper B&B had easily the nicest staff we encountered during our stay in the Philippines. Our room was tiny but had very effective AC and the shared bathroom was always clean. Breakfast included was filling but unspectacular. Location is epic if you like El Nido town, but withdrawn enough from the main drag to be quiet at night. We liked it so much we extended our stay in a different room for 2 more days.
This hotel is very well located in El nido”
This hotel is very well located in Downtown of el Nido. It is in a quiet street but close to everything. Most of the rooms you have a balcony to relaxing. The breakfast change everyday. Very comfortable room. The wc is ok.
Võrratu”
Very good location if you want to do boat tours, canopy walk, taraw cliff climb as they are all walking distance. Bing, the owner is also a gem. She is a good conversationalist although she can give you some quiet time. Mark also gave some good tips. We appreciate very much when we got in after dinner and Mark was outside and offered us coffee. The only con would be the running water as it had a bad smell. I don't know if this is the same deep well water in all of El Nido or if it is just in BNKY.
Easy breasy checkin and out”
Travelled with my 12 year old son. Lady at the kitchen was very kind to ask my son if he wanted hotdog for breakfast as she noticed my picky eater on our first day's breakfast. Another lady offered her aqua shoes to us for our tour but i have ours ready all the way from Bacolod. You can cook at their kitchen and they have a laundry area for your wet clothes from the island tour. Should we be back in El Nido I am still staying at this place. Felt like home away from home.
WATCH OUT FOR THIS ONE! ”
We stayed here for couple of days. The room we booked was good enough for a family of 10 and take note that there were only 2 of us. The B&B was awful to say the least. The water that came out of their faucet was murky, brown, and definitely smelled funky. The room was full of dust. and there were only 2 thin pillows and 1 thin blanket. They had free breakfast so i thought that it would be a plus. WRONG. We got pancit, egg, and 2 slices of toast with butter. During breakfast, the front desk lady told me that according to my agoda booking, it was only for 1 person. So they asked me to pay P 800 pesos PER DAY. Take note that we got here around 6 pm on the first day and left around 7 am during check out. We booked 2 days but only stayed less than 32 hours. We had breakfast ONCE. The room was for 10 persons. It was weird that the booking was only for 1 person while all my 7 other bookings were for 2 persons. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE IM TELLING YOU GUYS.
The generator had issues as well. You have to wake up the staff to make breakfast. Sleeping staff.”
The room I booked was next to a shouting couple. When I asked the person in charge about the noise level, she answered that the couple next door have been in a domestic violent incident. The staff did not consider calling the police. The staff told me that the other person was not even a guest at BNKY. I had feelings of anxiety because the staff did not resolve the issue with the yelling couple next door and they did not call the police. I asked to move to another room. The staff moved me to a room with a ceiling full of mold. I called the staff again to change rooms. The staff moved me to a suite and charged me overpriced. In the suite, there is minor mold problem in the bathroom and a tarantula ( a huge spider!) I had taken a picture of the tarantula. Unfortunately, I cannot upload here. The staff is so inconsiderate. For the price I paid, I could have booked a 5 star hotel. It was just a horrible experience. On top of that, BNKY is under construction. There are rats everywhere.
Simple accommodation in town”
The room was spacious with wardrobe, table and big mirror. The furniture was quite old, but more than enough. They provide towels and shower soap. The shared bathroom is not really clean and is quite small. Not bad for the price, but could find better places for the same mount of money.
Not Recommended”
I have been traveling for four months now and this was by far the worst hotel I have stayed at. Staff were so unprofessional it felt like the place was run by stroppy teenagers. Despite informing staff my partner and I are vegetarian we were served Meat every morning. Giant spiders all over the accommodation; when we asked the staff to remove them they laughed at us. Showers were unclean and the water had a very bad smell to it. There were two toilettes for about 8 rooms, and they were often broken/clogged. Staff did not bother maintaining them. Location was ok, but absolutely not worth it.
Exceptional”
The Hotel is very close to the busy areas but it is very quiet , has a nice feeling The rooms are super clean Studio room is so big with a nice balcony The Staff : Johanna, Bing, everybody are so helpful and friendly I have to thank them again, for all the help!
Good stay”
We stayed here four nights and had a very good stay. The staff were very accommodating in answering any questions or responding to our needs. At this price point there are nearly no other places that offer wifi right in the rooms around the El Nido town proper. It also included a fridge which is somewhat rare as well. We stayed in a queen studio and it was well worth the price.
Good Place”
Considering the cost, this place is a good choice. We stayed in a Studio Queen room. It's walking distance to the beach and anywhere in town, you get wifi in the rooms and AC with a fridge (If you choose the room with it). It's hard to find that combo anywhere at this price point in the town proper. The staff were very accommodating though sometimes hard to find.
