Ok hotel”

Nothing special or fancy. There was cable TV, A/C was working, hot shower was working. You get what you pay for. I wasn't really expecting much for Php 800 a night. Overall, room was a bit gloomy and old-looking, but I have no complaints. It served its purpose.

The hotel location is the best part. I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and it was quite a good stay. The amenities is basic and the room is just passable but given the hotel price, I think it's just fair and equitable. It's just a short walk and you will reach the boulevard and the restaurants. If I will go back in Dumaguete, I will still stay here.

No integrity, set a good seafood processing fee increase prices after dinner. Mosquito mosquito house incense is said to be smoking, there is no common sense or cheating money? Good mood for holiday now is a mess! Absolutely will not come again!

Front desk was a little cold when I checked in but they improved over time so that may have been an anomaly. The hotel doesn't provide bottled water except for purchase and the window type air conditions are noisy and could use cleaning. Other than that basic but clean and centrally located.

Good stay right in the center of the city”

The review is more for Agoda than the accommodation. When we arrived, we were told that our reservation was cancelled, even when Agoda has already charged my card. I cancelled a prior booking (2 nights) then booked another one for 1 night. The receptionist at Grand Pension called Agoda to fix things, and we had our room after about 30 minutes. We were told we werent the first one to experience such with our Agoda booking.

Clean,comfortable room at affordable price”

Of the 22 hotels we stayed at this trip the Grand Pension Plaza was the best city hotel. Only 5 mins walk from the centre of dumaguete but far enough away from the hussle and bussle of the city. At AUD$28 a night it was a bargain for us.

Great Value for Money in an Awesome Place”

Location was superb, staff was nice, rooms are clean though they should pick up the trashes on daily basis. We did not expect anything spectacular with this hotel since the price is relatively low but boy o boy our stay was so pleasant.. keep it up!

We had a comfortable stay here. Although the hotel is not new, it is well-maintained and clean. Our room has a mini ref which helps esp in keeping our pasalubong, Silvanas! The water pressure in the shower was so strong! In a way, it is good, but it's sometimes hard to control and adjust the water temperature. I love dogs am happy to see two adorable doggies roaming around their lobby. :) The staffs are very helpful. They always assist us whenever we need something like when we order food delivery or in renting a van. The place would've been perfect had they serve breakfast (esp if it's free!). Overall our stay was pleasant and we would be happy to stay here again.
