Pricey but nice stay!”
This is my second time staying with the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo. The clerk and service is the best! Location is also very great! Tons of shopping and restaurants right downstairs! Facilities are good and satisfying. Will definitely come back!
Nice hotel ”
Nice hotel and service, good location, 5 mins walking to Ginza, lots of eatery and drinking places nearby
Great hotel. Great staff. Great location”
It's our first time to travel to Tokyo with 15 month kid. So a good location, facilities and services were our requirement, even the price was kind of over our budget. The Imperial Tokyo was our right decision. We got all our requirements. Actually the services were beyond our expectation. Bellboys always gave us hands every time our taxi reached to hotel.-tons of stuff to carry because of the baby. The hotel offers the greatest facilities but disguises in old styled fashion. I can't think of the greater and more convenient hotel than The Imperial. Besides, there are many good restaurants in the hotel complex. pricy but what you will get always worthy
Impeccable service although the facilities were pretty dated esp the bathroom. Just one thing - the walls are paper thin. Had a room next door to rowdy Japanese guests who were partying until close to 12am and had to explain repeatedly to the front counter about the situation. Took quite sometime to get it sorted (more than 30minutes). Surprised that this would have happened at this hotel.
Have stayed several times. Became greater location than ever because of area redevelopment . ”
Big luxury Japanese traditional but modern hotel. Facilities and room are well maintained, and staff are very polite and well trained even though there are many guests in the lobby. Have stayed at the hotel several times in the past. The previous impression of mine is that the location had been a little aloof from the center but now the area has been re-developed and reborn, there are lot of places to eat and shop just in front of the hotel, and you feel really close to Ginza area so you can enjoy walking to Ginza too. Maybe just 5 minutes to 7,8 minutes on foot so it's just really nice walking around. Hibiya park in front of the hotel may be also great to walk around. It's so nice to see new office buildings near the park too. I definitely recommend this hotel, but for travelers who want to stay in the quiet luxury environment, this hotel may not be appropriate, because the lobby is really busy with full of people.
This is a big hotel with spacious room. The triple room is very cozy with 1 bathroom, 1 toilet and 1 powder room. Location is excellent, very near to Ginza and parks. will stay here again whenever I come to Tokyo
An Immaculate Experience”
The Imperial Hotel was perfect from check-in to check-out. The staff is most courteous, the room was immaculate, and there isn’t one thing I didn’t love about the hotel. I would be back in a heartbeat.
A Mature Hotel”
There are many fine hotels in excellent locations in Tokyo and the Imperial is as good as most of them. Perhaps it is not the most modern or high-tech, but it would be hard to fault any aspect of the hotel and its operations. Many of the more recent additions to the "5-star" hotels in this wonderful city would be twice the price. For a business traveler whose company watches expenses, this is the perfect combination of prestige and price.
Comfortable, clean and spacious”
If you want to stay in the Tokyo/Ginza region and are willing to pay the 5-star prices then this is the place to stay. It has an almost old work charm but that didn't mean in need of revocation. The room gadgets all work well and the bathroom is modern. Staff are very helpful. The pool and gym aren't large but each time I went I was the only user. Do join their Imperial International Club (or whatever it's called) on their web page as it makes checking in easier. Agoda slightly beat the booking direct price and everything went smoothly.
I liked the combination of nostalgic touches along with all the latest gadgets. The room wasn't large, but very comfortable. The most notable part of the experience was the amazing service and support from the staff.
One of the BEST SERVICE Hotel, i’ve ever been in”
My stay in Imperial Tokyo is memorable. One thing about this hotel that i highlight is their level of customer service, is really really great. The hotel room itself looks very modern , good, and very comfortable. The location of the hotel is also very strategic, 1 minute walking to Hibiya metro station, also very near with Hibiya shopping mall. When i saw some pictures from the websites, i was kind of worried that the hotel looks a little bit old from those pictures. But, let me tell you, that this is wrong. The moment you stepped into lobby of the hotel, you’ll find really good atmosphere of what a 5 star hotel should be. Their level of customer service is really high with a touch of Japanese hospitality. All in all, i suggest everyone to stay in this hotel.
Extremely good service”
We are extremely satisfied with the service. All staff we met were very friendly. Although the hotel is not the most modern style (if it was, I believe it should be 50% more expensive), all room facilities are very convenient to use. Only slight drawback is that it requires 5-10 min walk to subway stations. But most of the time it's not an issue. Definitely value for money and you feel warm and comfortable staying at this hotel!
Excellent service and location”
I would return to the Imperial hotel. The service was great and it was within walking distance to the Tokyo Station and a very short taxi ride if you have luggage. The airport limousine was very convenient. We were informed that we were given an upgrade and then the check in staff crossed out the complimentary continental breakfast on the upgrade information sheet. It was alright with us, but found it a bit "tacky." To cross it out in front of us.
It was indeed a 5-star experience. Staff were very accommodating. The location is near the shopping area and the JR line station. Hibiya park is just right across the hotel. Airport limousine bus also stops at the hotel.
Excellent location, great facilities, top-notch service”
This is our 2nd stay at Imperial Hotel and the experience is just as great as the first. The hotel has 9 restaurants serving excellent food.. especially the Ten-ichi restaurant with the best tempura in town. Service standards are overwhelming, great bathroom, clean and comfortable room. Will stay here again for our future trips to Tokyo as well.
An Iconic Hotel that represent Japan”
Our stay was good, the service was excellent right from the checked in area we were warmly greeted. the location was near shopping center, but the room is rather small. the decoration was Japanese style.
Great service and location”
This was my second stay at the Imperial Hotel and it has one of the most polite and sincere guest services. One minor gripe is that similar to most other Japanese hotels, they do not provide complimentary bottled water although the other beverage amenities were great. Location is great for exploring the area between Shimbashi and Ginza. Lots of great food places around to try out.
Very good standard in general”
Very good standard in general, but so large that getting around the hotel is time-consuming, particularly the Tower wing which does not have a spearate street level entrance.Check in was chaotic, took my own bags to my room as all bellboys busy. Room is very comfortable, toiletries are high quality. In room internet access via LAN was fast.
First visit to Tokyo, and this hotel felt Central to where we wanted to go in different directions. Staff was incredibly helpful. Lots to do in the hotel itself and just around it. The beautiful bar which retains Frank Lloyd Wright original elements from the early 20th century incarnation of the hotel does allow smoking, which kept us out of it, but could be a positive if that's something you like. Overall, a great experience.
Excellent location ”
Excellent location, very attentive staff. Rooms in main building are light and nicely decorated, well equipped bathrooms. Drinks in the bars are expensive even by Tokyo standards. However the location in Ginza means there is a huge number of restaurants and bars nearby, great transport links and proximity to the Imperial Gardens
