Great Hotel with an awesome view”
Stayed there for 4 days. The hotel and the rooms are very clean. The staff is also very friendly and the restaurant is very good. You can rent snorkeling equipment at the hotel and jump right into the water to see turtles. The major drawback is that the sunset is at the other end of the island, but the sunrise is magnificent to watch with a cup of coffee, just step out of your tent at the beach.
Luxury Hotel for couple ”
Pro : - very near the ferry terminal - beautiful view from the room - good hospitality from staff - clean Cons : - Air con not cold (we have given feedback to the staff, they tried to fix it but it did not work)- you might sweating in ur bedroom if you inside your bungalow/ bed room in noon time - noisy in the morning, since the location near the ferry terminal, you can hear the announcement since morning - no blind curtain, the bungalow facing the sunrise, if you easily wake up with light better bring the eye cover
Gorgeous, Convenient, Welcoming”
Best place to stay on the island. The staff are extremely friendly and the owner welcomes you when you arrive with a map of the island and helpful tips and recommendations. Breath of fresh air.
Sleeping in nice location with sound of the waves”
Good location, professional service, extremely good and tasty food. Staff friendly and helpful.
Great 3 days!”
Very helpful and friendly staff
We enjoyed every moment of our stay at Karma Reef. I love the rustic feel of the bungalow. Special thanks to Lorenza for her impeccable service, Zacky for being helpful and Chef Wayang for going the extra mile for our vegan bee hoon goreng on our last breakfast at Karma Reef. The vegan bee hoon goreng was delicious! The vegan nasi campur specially prepared for us on our first day was amazing too! Thank for the beautiful memories!
not at all a 4.5 stars as sold...very disappointing about the facilities. The cost for the quality is outregeous.. Except the location, the beach, the water and the quiet environement of this island.
Not a 4. 5 stars has described online maixmum 3 stars. Way over price ”
The island is great for a day trip. Definitely would not stay here again. You can stay in lombok st a 5 star for a fraction of the price
Exceptional service and beautiful rooms”
Exceptional service with the most beautiful sunrise you can watch from the comforts of your bed. We had the pleasure of staying in both the sea tent and the bungalow which were each unique experiences. But the common points for both were falling asleep to the waves rushing against the shore and watching the sunrise. Point to note is that the bungalows are made fully from bamboo hence the room may not be insulated and the air conditioning may not be very cold. But that’s what being close to nature is. Service at Karma Reef were impeccable. From the meet and greet at the reception by Lorenza, to a detailed map of where and what to do on meno, staying at Karma reef is an experience on its own.
A memorable stay. Great service and thumbs up for the staff!”
The location of the hotel is awesome. It's only 2 mins walk from the harbour. I booked a Seaview tent, but was assigned to a tent at the second row, where half of the view has been blocked by the tents in the first row. The water from the shower head in my tent was extremely slow and and the TV was not functioning. Fortunately the hotel staff was friendly enough to change us to a Seaview bungalow. The Seaview bungalow was excellent, but do expect loud music from the opposite island til midnight. And the power and water supply were cut off few times in a day, once during the midnight and once when I was in the midst of showering. The food available around the hotel is very limited. You gotta ride on a horsecart to those sunset view restaurants, which is about 15min away. Good things about the hotel is their staff are really well trained and helpful. All staff in the hotel would remember your name and great you every time they meet you. They do provide free bicycle, kayak etc.
good staff 👍”
best location and view
All was good ”
Our stay was excellent, the food, service and the rooms are ok, but there's no pool area, and the access to the beach is limited, because you need footwear.
Beautiful bungalows but not recommended in front of the pier ans the queues”
The bungalows are beautiful and well furnished and arranged with nice Terraces. The restaurant is also nice with good food and cocktails. BUT the bungalows are very noisy, located in the front of the pier where boats are coming and leaving all day. Moreover, the gazebo of each bungalow is used by dozens of people waiting for their boat and looking for shadow. Just in front of the bungalow, in addition to people in queue there is the queue of horse cars waiting for customers. No way to enjoy your Bungalow, terrace or gazebo in this condition. To bad beacause the bungalows are really great, as well as the personal and restaurant. The bungalows of this hotel would be recommanded only if you intend to leave your room all day until 6.00pm or if you have bungalows 108 or 109 (not in front of the pier).
Good location among 3 Gilis. Best in Gili Meno.”
Romantic, Quiet Facilities & equipments should improve
The room was good, the food at the restaurant is amazing, but too bad the sea is quite dirty, it might be the effect of the rain, the waves brought trashes from Bali or Lombok all the way to Gili Meno, but I think they should clean it more often. It ruins the experience really...
Overpriced for what it is”
This was our last of 4 stops during our honeymoon, and was one of the more pricey places we stayed (definitely so if you consider no breakfast was included unlike everywhere else...). We emailed in advance (after friend's suggestion) to request one of the quieter "luxury" tents, which we had had confirmed, so were surprised when we arrived to find a mostly empty selection of tents, and that we had been placed in the closest tent to the Restaurant/Bar & Sun loungers/seating area. This was mostly a problem due to the fact that the restaurant/bar pumped out heavy bass music through both day and night (although never too late), and when the place was really quiet the staff would play on some sort of mixing desk, making it sound like a rave / fair ground! Unlike everywhere else we stayed in Indonesia the staff just didn't seem to care about our satisfaction. When we ran out of toilet paper (!!) and requested more whilst leaving the resort we returned to find it still hadn't been replaced- and had to return and request again. It was continual things like this, and one word answers that we found most unwelcoming. The facilities are just basic. Not luxury at all. Our TV didn't work, a critical bathroom light bulb had blown before we even arrived so we had to ask for maintenance to fix, and most frustratingly there were a considerable amount of power cuts throughout one day - a problem which I'm sure is very common for hotels on the island, and we didn't begrudge, but there was no mention of it, or apology. A simple acknowledgement would have softened the blow... the tents get VERY hot without air con! Finally the cost of the restaurant / bar / travel is unbelievable in comparison to the rest of the island. We didn't eat here once. We did get a bar snack once and paid more for it than we would pay for a mains elsewhere. And when we enquired how much it would cost for them to arrange our transfer back to Lombok airport we were quoted 1,700,000 IDR (and no doubt th

Love The Food
Great Location, Great breakfast
Booked 9 months ago, yet we had no room”
I booked this hotel as part of our 25th wedding anniversary. We tried to call the hotel numerous times once we arrived in Bali because my husband had to leave early and we didn't really have nough time for the trip to Gili Meno. They never answered to phone so we spent over $200 and a full day getting there rather than just forfeit our money for the room. Upon our arrival we were told there were no rooms because they had over booked! I booked this hotel 9 months ago and they didn't even have the courtesy to contact us to let us know they had no space for us. The manager did arrange for a room at the alternate hotel and bought my husband a beer but I was so mad I wouldn't accept a drink. He offered that if I came back in a few days I could have one of their "glamping" villas for free but I would not waste the money or the time to get there again not trusting that our accommodation would even be available. We wasted 2 travel days and had to spend the night in a hotel that wasn't nearly as nice. If they would have let us know, we could have gone to another resort. They ruined our last two days in Bali on our 25th anniversary. Unforgivable.
