Good for the price. ”
There isn't a whole lot around the hotel. You have to catch a ride if you want more action. It's also a bit old and lacking in amenities. But it's very affordable and what you lose in luxury you get make up for with a very friendly and accommodating staff. Also the price makes it more than worthwhile. If your looking for something different or want to save some money but are worried about quality, I recommend here!
The room ,the wall inside and outside very dirty”
It was dark a little light and scary the dirty everywhere
lovely owner, noisy room”
I will definitely recommend this hotel, owner and staff are very friendly. But be careful, rooms facing the street are too noisy and there is a mosquito infested pond at the entrance. Ask for a room at the back.
Very kind owner, excellent bang for the buck!”
Remember the price you're paying first and you're getting a lot for it! Spacious room with no street noise at all, close to angkor wat, not that far from downtown. The owner was beyond kind and courteous, helped us with every single problem and question we had and was always available. The breakfast is simple but good and enough to get you started. Rent a scooter downtown and have your Base Camp in between siem and angkor.
high price performance ratio”
Hotel staffs are nice and helpful, great to have arrival pick up arranged by the hotel. The hotel room has a/c, it is comfortable in overall but quite a many mosquitoes staying in my room. Also, the hotel location is close to Angkor Wat area, it is just 5-10 mins tuk tuk ride to be there and the hotel staff can help arrange driver and tour guide to be there. Even though you travel alone, it is not difficult to go sightseeing.
should be bit more clean , breakfast should more”
stay was good. people are nice, room was clean, hotel should be more clean, breakfast should give bit more.
Very near Angkor Wat”
Just another place to rest
Great owner and staff
Average but comfortable”
The stay was OK, the place is clean enough and the beds very comfortable. Location requires a short walk to the fabulous Mai Cafe, so that in itself makes it worthwhile. Tuk tuk to Pub St is $2 - $3
The hotel rooms are quite simple for European standards but had everything we needed. Unfortunately it had No warm water. The staff is very nice though and try really hard.
Friendly owners and staff”
There was a power outtage all over SR when I stayed at this hotel. The owner was very helpful althroughout my stay. I also appreciate all the help and assistance I got from Ponleu, the hotel's designated tuktuk driver.
close to Angkor wat”
The hotel is one of the closest ones to Angkor wat and that's why i booked it. The room i had had dirty walls and gelt almost like a cell without windows. There weren't even bed lamps. Breakfast is pieve of toast.and omelette, nothing to mention really. Staff performance wasn't too good either. Not up to a 3-star standard.
Excellent place! Would stay here again :)”
We got a good deal that included accomodation, breakfast and transfer to and from the airport. The hotel is comfortable, clean, you have hot water, A/C, closet, good beds, towels. Staff is very friendly and the best thing is that the owner is there almost the whole time, so he will do the best for his customers. This place made my stay in Siem Reap unforgettable... just amazing for a very very good price. Definetely would stay there again and would recomend it! :)
Cheap and ok for resting”
During our stay in Putheavatei Hotel, we felt that the staffs are friendly and willing to help with some of our needs. However, two of the toilets in their rooms couldn't flush properly but they fixed it after we have reported to them. They are quite hardworking to clean up the room everyday but they have mistakenly threw away some of our belongings and also some of them were placed on the floor while they should have kept on a cleaner place (table or bed). Furthermore, they haven't replace their broken electronic devises and we were unable to use. The breakfast provided were yummy but it was too slow even we have tried to place the orders in the earlier time (more than 30 minutes). This has delayed our journey and our driver had to wait us outside the hotel. Their response to email is not sensitive enough and led to miscommunication. Overall, this is a cheap place to rest and get ready for the next day trip. And it would be more convenient if the services mentioned above could be improved in the future. Thanks to all the staffs that had served us well most of the time during our stay in Cambodia.
Close to Angkor wat. Need tuk tuk to go everywhere”
Very clean rooms. No windows in some. Ask for front if u need windows.
Best deal ever!”
The room was clean and the hot water is VERY hot which I enjoyed because that is what you'd be dying for after a whole day of temple visiting. The owner, MR. Phirun is extremely friendly and helpful. And the location is just 10 mins away from Angkor Wat, 15 mins from the Pub Street and 25 mins from Airport. I highly recommend this place!
Delightful Economics stay”
I enjoyed my stay at this location and found the staff extremely enjoyable. My only note would be to consider the flights of stairs required to arrive at your room; there is no elevator. If you unable to climb stairs, this would be a drawback, otherwise I heartily recommend their service and accommodations.
Good location & staff service”
Agoda: I already wrote a review and submitted it. But when I checked the hotel's Web page, my review's not on it. And when I logged into my Agoda profile, found out I still haven't done a review of this hotel. Please, please, please, Agoda, can you make your interface efficient? We take the time to do these reviews, but you make it difficult for us. Please do something about this!!! We're busy people. We can't rewrite reviews all the time!!! Do you expect us to rewrite everything??? Please!!!
Lovely hotel, friendly staff.”
A pleasant stay, which was improved by the helpful and friendly staff who helped us organise a number of activities including the sunrise tour of Angkor.
