“Great Food and Staff, But Room Cleanliness and Booking Issues Disappointed Us”
We stayed at this hotel for two nights, and while there were some positives, our experience was not entirely pleasant. The room was dusty from the start, but we didn’t think much of it. However, after spending about three hours inside, both my husband and I started sneezing continuously. When we went out for dinner, the sneezing stopped, but it resumed as soon as we returned to the room. The next morning, we asked housekeeping to clean while we were at breakfast, but even after that, the issue persisted. It might have been due to dust on the curtains or other areas. On a positive note, the food at the hotel was very good, and we really enjoyed our meals. The staff were also very friendly, helpful, and professional, which made our stay more pleasant despite the issues we faced. Another problem we encountered was with our breakfast booking. We selected and paid for breakfast for three adults, as listed on Agoda. However, when we received the confirmation voucher, it only covered a maximum of two adults. As a result, we had to pay extra for breakfast for our 14-year-old (considered an adult) and our 6-year-old. If the booking had correctly reflected the 2 adults and 2 children option, we would have only needed to pay for our teenage son’s meal. I raised this issue with Agoda, but they did not resolve it and eventually stopped responding to my messages. Overall, while the food and staff were excellent, the dusty room and the booking issue made our stay less enjoyable. I hope the hotel improves its room cleanliness, and Agoda provides better customer support in the future.
