Ramada by Wyndham Madinah Al Qibla
the hotel only a few steps from the haram.I was given haram view which was excellent by the manager named Ahmed.the breakfast provided was also not too bad.the only thing need to be improved is their cleanliness especially toilet.
Excellent for Baab as-Salaam but nothing else”
No hot water, telephone didn't work despite reporting it to reception, no wi-fi in room and only patchy service in reception, bath but no plug (but no hot water for a bath anyway, 4 teabags 2 small bottles of water and some sugar on arrival and had to take other tea bags from the trolley on the landing, no more water given until the last day, room not cleaned until the last day when I bumped into a cleaner outside the lift, asked reception if there was a restaurant and was told no, when asked where we could eat he pointed out the junk food kiosk next to the door, asked if anywhere else he just shrugged. For a chain hotel it is appalling, and easily the worst hotel I've ever stayed in at the price range.
Location is very good near Haram”
Washroom is not very clean,
Not recommended ”
The cleaness of the hotel is very poor. Water is leaked everywhere in the bathroom. No Hot water. I suggest not to stay
Good hotel ”
front desk staffs are boring
Cannot believe the low quality of a hotel this close to the Haram”
There was a fight at the front desk when we got there. There was a fight amongst the staff the one time we went to breakfast. Their breakfast had almost no options. A lady' chair broke in the lobby. All this and we were there a day and a half
Very close to Men’s Haram entrance but Hotel had room full of Bed Bugs”
I initially reserved this hotel based on some reviews and the close proximity to the Haram I travelled with my elderly mom and dad for me and my father it was very near and only a 3min walk to enter the haram but for my mother was a very long and tiresome walk to the women’s section . Now the staff are not too friendly and house keeping just come around and give toilet papaer and towels and not much anything else usually when I have stayed in other hotels in Saudia they come and actullat vacuum and clean the room . Also one of the major issues was the room they gave us had an excellent view but was infested with bed bugs just roaming around the bed and blankets we noticed them the second day and went straight down they try to play it off like it was nothing major but when I started to note the number of government officials to notify them they started getting very nervous and gave us another smaller room but still a great view . Make sure you check all options before booking this.
value for money”
very good location for men only few steps from haram.I will definitely stay there again next year
worst Experience of Mismanagement and Dirty Prperiety ”
I stayed 3 days they never cleaned room even I requested few times, never changed towels or clean room.
Very bad service & no cleanliness even when we informed ”
Bad service, no Wi-Fi in room, no cleaning of room.
Wifi limitation to the lobby should be extended to rooms.
very nice hotel”
The disadvantage is no internet in rooms
Wouldn’t recommend ”
Upon checking the receptionist was more interested in chatting on his mobile instead of serving clients. When I enquired about breakfast I was told it was until 11am. But when I visited the dining it was finished and on top the kitchen manager Ahmed was abrupt. Secondly because of my early flight I’d requested a wake up call but nothing. I was glad I’d put an alarm on my mobile otherwise I would have missed my flight. The rooms were dirty there weren’t enough plugs to charge your mobile phones, everything was dirty and filthy. I totally regret booking this hotel and would never ever stay there in the future. Just sum up in word NIGHTMARE
We chose ramada due to price and because we needed to be close to the VIP coach pick up point. The hotel is small, the rooms was a good size as we had 4 single beds with a good size bathroom. There was no wifi in the rooms and was poor in the lobby. The north side is always tough due to lack of food/shops and it is a bit of a walk for the women. For men its excellent as you get to go to the front of the masjid and baab as salam very quickly. The hotel is ok for a quick stop, anything more than 2 days consider the other side.
Worse hotel ever seen —never go back again ”
Nothing good about it . Location far for ladies Reception staff are arrogant and not helpful at all Booked 25m2 room got less than 10m2 room . Not clean smelly no WiFi in the rooms Breakfast is worse one ever seen NOT RECOMMENDED TO ANY ONE ... LESS THAN ONE STAR HOTEL....
The best location with a great view ”
Good, basically this hotel is ideal for pilgrimage. You're close the mosque like literally 5 mins away and near bab al Salam (the first gate of the mosque). I got my room on the 10th floor with view of the mosque which was amazing. The lifts good as well didn't take time me to go up or down. The bad part was the service which usual around these places. Room never picks up. You have to get the basic amenities your self water, tea, towels. The bed was not that comfortable. And the breakfast was really awfully so pack yourself with food for the morning. The hotel staff were kind but there service insuffienct. Alhumdulilah my stay was good has I pay not too much to expect a lot I just needed a hotel close which I got.
Lovely hotel and service with a smile”
It was a nice staty at the Hotel Ramada, Masjid Al Qibla. I was originally booked for one night only, then decided to stay another day, which I had to request the Hotel Manager since the booking could not be modified.
The service was very bad, the worst service in my experience.. the staff is lier, they tried to cheat us, breakfast was very bad...
Did not get the same hotel which was booked”
Ditched me to there other building
