You got what you paid for ”
It’s value of money. The location is very close to Gion Subway and Hakata Station. The room is small but no argue about that. The mattress is not even and old. I hardly sleep well for both 2 nights for me. But as I said “you got what you paid for”. Overall, good for money and good location.
It’s near bus stops, a subway station, Canal City, Kawabata shopping street, great food, and Hakata station itself is just ten minutes away on foot. So convenient for everything you want to do when you stay in Hakata. The hotel is a bit old but everything is clean and well kept. The breakfast is simple yet very tasty. The small double room was just perfect for our trip but if you’re taller than 5’7” and travelling with one other, it might not work for you.
Hotel is just a 3mins walk from Gion station. Nearer to Aeon Max Value and Canal City. The room is small in size. Bed is too small for 2 pax but managable. Overall, I had a good stay in this hotel.
Value for money!”
I would recommend it specially for first time travelers in Fukuoka. It’s very near Gion subway station and other tourist spots. Room is clean, staff are friendly and the breakfast choices are good. They also have a luggage counter where you can put your bags if you check-out early. Over all we are satisfied customers!
Very good experience”
The room is bigger than my expectation and it's quite clean and cozy. Location is excellent, just 3 mins form 祗園, and around 10 mins from Hakata Station. The only little thing I am not satisfied is the stairs outside the hotel. If you have lots of luggage, that would be quite not convenient.
It’s location is very good, only 3 minute walking from Gion station. It would be nice choice for those who will move to other cities from Hakata station. And the staff was really kind but interior was a little bit old and smoking smell was awful although I chose a smoking room.
The room was big enough for one person. It's close to the subway and the staffs were really great!
PEOPLE'S IS KIND
Poor hotel experience ever.”
Toilet water spill to my foot when I flush the toilet. When I complain to the receptionist next morning all I get is "sorry about that". I will never ever stay there again!
Parking is maybe on sight but I think very limited and first come first serve basis. There are metered parking around the hotel and for 15 hours of parking I paid ¥2,200. I live in Sasebo, Nagasaki and I drove to Fukuoka expecting an underground parking area provided by the hotel. The location of the hotel is very good. The local tourist and shopping areas are walking distance of 5-10 mins. For international travelers and first time in Japan, lodging is not cheap and the room size is not big. If you expect more room then spend more atleast ¥20,000 in major cities and ¥15,000 in small cities. Japan is not a 3rd world country and if you try a Ryokan style lodging it is an experience living the old style tradition of luxury.
This is a hotel near underground station. Staff re in good manner and helpful. There re many food stores and convenient shop around, visitors do not need to walk far away for diner or lunch. All in all, it is a cheap and convenient hotel. If visitors do not mind that it is small and old, it is a good choice for you.
Good location, fair service”
Just 5 minutes walk from Gion station, exit3 is my recommend due to its simpliest route and evevator for the luggage. Hotel is quite antique but clean, fast check in/out serving in less than a minute. Two speedy elevators serve hotel guest in less than 15 seconds waiting from its top. Standard room is quite small but has some space for 2-3 luggages, small bath tub equipped inside and amenity is full-equipped. Bed also good enough to sleep well, wireless internet is free of charge with fast speed. 7-11 is 1 minute walk away from hotel entrance and Family mart is just cross the road from there. It's great budget hotel in Gion that you can pay less than any, I recommend this one
Pleasant stay, the staff was nice. The hotel is located near the tourist spots and subway station. You can just walk to the hakata station or the canal city.
Near subway station. Clean room. nice staff! If I go Fukuoka again, I will choose this hotel. Really appreciated.
Not too far from train station with affordable price.
Nearby airport express station”
It is just 4mins walk to Gion metro station which is the airport express line so picking this hotel for last day stay is something for a reason. Good price and nice staff.
It's very good choice!”
clean rooms, appropriate facilities
It's an apartment!”
If you are looking for apartment like room with decent price, this is it. Very close to Hakata Station. (10 mins walk) very convenient!
Budget and clean hotel ”
Have stairs in front of the hotel which makes it hard to carry luggages up and down and the staff did not offer any help . Staff knows very limited English which makes communication hard. Quite close to Gion station . A very old hotel .
First time visiting Japan ”
Getting to the hotel was a bit difficult at first. But once we were able to locate a map, we found it. The room was clean and neat. The staff was friendly as well. The hotel was surprisingly comfortable and wish we could have stayed longer!
No frill cheap hotel”
For the price you pay, this is acceptable. The single room maybe small for big size human but it is adequate for me (1.77m average size guy). Location is superb just right after gion subway. Only bad thing is the laundry is at the carpark basement so please do bring along insect repellent and there are only 2 washing machines and 2 dryers. Hotel do provide free washing powder.
Not recommend for woman solo traveler.”
It's not too far from Gion station but if you have a big luggage, i wont recommend here cuz' you will get sweat before reach the hotel and i was very scared when i came back to hotel at night time(it's dark; its ok if you have friend) Plus there is no slope way to drag the luggage to front desk and no staffs to help. The room was very old, standard small size of japan room. The wifi here cannot connected and low signal.
Not bad, but can be better”
Not bad; but the configuration of ramp is needed in between reception and downstairs, it is not good for guests putting luggages upstairs; and the room soundproof is not that good, can hear the voice from others in mid night.
Tiny, unclean, no wifi”
The room was tiny with a very small "double bed" and no internet. No places to hang towels. No do-not disturb signs. They lied about the wi-fi signal, stating that the reason it was weak was because students were taking tests. Turns out it's only available in the lobby.
Not suitable for guests with bulky luggage”
The room was small (typical Japanese hotel room) but clean. There are staircases at the entrance of the hotel and you have to carry your luggage and walk up yourself. No staff will come and help you (not even opening the door or ask if you need any help when your checkout with bulky luggage).
All of things were so good ”
All of things were so good
Room space large enough but dirty pillow and duvet”
Choice for backpaclkerif budget limited
The hotel is just okay for staying.”
The room and the bathroom are quite small. Air condition does not work well.
place is nice. stay with my friend last June 11-12, 2017. Accessible location.
Nice place, well located, great rate and everything that clicks and buzzes. Friendly staff to boot.
The location was wonderful, we don't need to walk very far to get food and some attraction in the city.
Great price and staff but small bathroom is not perfect, but recommended hotel!

So, room is too bad, smell smoking very very much. Air con and heater is too bad, it very loud and dirty, dust everywhere.
Nice,the location is convenient ”
But there is few steps to the lobby
Good for place to sleep
convenient but small and old”
the room is tiny and aged... but clean as what u expect in japan.. location is convenient and many restaurants around the hotel.
very old, but comfortable”
the hotel is very old, but comfortable. staffs are very nice, have good value.
Urgent booking for a hotel near to subway station”
Quite decent room but the TV inside the room is old-fashioned and the corridor environment can be improved
Hotel Sky Court Hakata”
rude, over booked”
not great, rude, gave me a smoking room, not accommodating
Not good, smell bad,,”
I did not like it so cheap and bad dirty. so don't stay
Compact but very clean comfortable”
Internet connection available in lobby area. No Internet in room as far as I could tell, though I didn't ask.
