The hotel is up high on a hill, where you have to take a 70 steps to reach to your hotel!!, but the view is excellent and the service provided were good.

What can I say? If I give a too nice review, the place will be full soon :) Honestly it's a fantastic retreat if you are a couple who is looking for a quiet place. It's beautiful, the rooms are well decorated and have all the facilities you can expect (the villa SOL is just breathtaking!), the swimming pool is very much appreciated and NEVER crowded, all the staff will be at your beck and call to satisfy your requests (thank you Jemma and Jenna!), the breakfast is delicious (especially the pancakes), it's only 10 mn walk to the beach (through the main road) and all the villas are in a fantastic garden very well kept. In 4 words, you feel at home! Now the little drawbacks :) The stairs... yes it's hilly but honestly we loved that we had to "suffer" a bit to arrive in paradise. Also they don't have a restaurant so if you feel lazy and suddenly decide to relax in the evening... it's a little bit annoying. Nevertheless Jemma the great cook can prepare a dinner for you if you plan it in advance or you can always order a pizza or something. All in all our stay was fantastic! I strongly recommend Villa Oceana!

Quiet, beautiful, little hideaway. Love the villa's and the breakfast and the staff. There are stairs to the accommodation - but we survived using them every day. If you struggle with mild exercise then maybe not the best place for you to stay.

Amazing”

Wonderful, quiet place with amazing pool overlooking the sea. Kind staff. Due to small amount of rooms (villas) only few people are present so you can really get away from the crowds of Boracay beaches. Great breakfast (you can choose from english, filipino, american etc.) is served by the pool. Overall, we absolutely recommend to people who want quiet private space.

Awesome view”

Although it's a tiring walk up to the villa but the view makes it all worthwhile. The sunset view from the pool is beautiful.. And the honeymoon suite villa sol view is the best ever.. Waking up to the ocean view and watching the sunset view everyday was the highlight of our trip.. Would definitely choose this hotel again when I'm back to boracay..

It was a amazing stay ! we original booked 2 days out of 6 days of our trip to see how the hotel likes, Everything is fantastic , and we got upgraded to the big villa which is huge size with a really reasonable price for our next 4 days ! Besides mosquitos and the cold shower , everything is good ( do think they shld check and maintain the facilities regularly ) . Staffs there are super nice too! we definitely will go back !

Perfect when in the right miind”

There are only 4 villas on the property, which is located on a hill overlooking the beach near station 3. We stayed in the biggest, as it was the last available and I would recommend to anyone to chose that one as it is very LARGE. The property itself is surrounded by lush greenery, birds and garden flowers which is a great escape from the hustle of things going on. A total recommendation, if you are in the right frame of mind. Since the villa is located where it is, there is a moderate staircase hill you have to climb to get to the property. Additionally, because of the greenery there will be ants on occasion and even mosquitoes and/or snails as well. The pool is a bit small and the a/c was small but adequate. But all of these things are minor because of the personalized staff and coming with the right frame of mind not to be annoyed with these small things and enjoy all the other GREAT things this villa is.

Unique, quiet, relax”

We stayed 10 days in Villa Oceana during the Typhon Glenda It was very special. Manager Yuki, her husband and team are very kind and enjoy. They upgraded us in the very nice villa. This place is very quiet and beautiful especially when it s sunny. All the team take care of you like family. Perfect for couple and very good situation from the center.

Wished we had stayed somewhere else”

We booked this hotel because of the great reviews written. However, what we experienced was pretty unsatisfactory. There were mosquitoes everywhere, and the staff didn't bother inorming us about what was included in our stay package. Even with five mosquito coils burning throughout the villa, we were still attacked by mosquitoes. They have a long flight of stairs up to their reception and there isnt any bell or intercom at their front door. We had to struggle with our luggages on the first day, where it was raining heavily. The villa was always sandy and the floors were never really clean. There were stains on the sheets and walls, with cobwebs in the corners. We were visited by all sorts of bugs, especially mosquitoes at night. There were no mosquito nets on the windows and parts of the villa where it led directly outside. The best place was to stay on the bed, where we were protected by the mosquitoe net around the bed. We found this hotel to be more like a motel with the level of service they provided. We also found their check out time to be way too early compared to others.We asked to check out at 12, which we thought was the normal check out time. But we were instead told that we had to leave by 10am as there was another reservation.

The location and the resort itself was great. Very beautiful views, nice receiving area/gazebo and pool. The room we stayed in also have a small safe, kitchen, a small refrigerator stacked with drinks and a small oven. Service is very good, even the small details are not left unnoticed, they will provide you with umbrellas when it's raining and will turn on the lights to your room when it's dark and you're still not around. The only thing that bothered us was how they cleaned the room. The oven had some ketchup/sauce stains on it, there were undisposed mosquito repellant as well as some tiny stains on the sheets. Overall though it was great!!

Очень хороший сервис и персонал, но расположение”

отель очень этнический, что меня и привлекло при бронировании. Но расположение - это первое что оттолкнуло и пришлось менять отель. Проход к пляжу долгий и опасный, спуск очень крутой и узкий, без перил. Внизу нужно буквально пройти через двор дома местных жителей. И потом еще метров 100 до моря по узкой грязной улице через стройку (на тот момент). Вобщем невероятно не удобно. Есть и другой путь со стороны города, но мы там не ходили (там тоже лестницы и не красивый вид вокруг). Вид с отеля хороший, если не вставать со стула))) встанешь - увидишь трущобы, ну и красивое море. Номер la isla: сосиоит из четырех отдельных помещений (туалет, душ, комната с кроватью и кухня). В душе нет ни одной полки и крючка, зато был скорпион и муравьи ))) туалет хороший, комната маленькая и без шкафа. Сейф на замке. Кухня нормальная, стол стулья пластиковые. Переходы от зданий под открытым небом, когда был дождь перемещались перебежками. Бассейн маленький и было всего два лежака на момент нашего прибывания. А так отель в целом очень мил, очень хороший и приятный персонал и менеджер.

Blick über die Insel Boracay”

Die Zimmer waren sehr schön und sehr sauber. Der kleine Garten in dem die Bungalows liegen ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Die Lage des Hotels ist fantastisch, da es auf einem kleinen Berg mitten in Boracay liegt. Vom Hotel hat man einen Blick über Boracay und der Sonnenuntergang vom Pool aus ist atemberaubend. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich. Wir würden jederzeit noch einmal kommen... Dadurch das die Anlage sehr klein ist, hat man das Gefühl alleine zu sein. Die Besitzer haben noch ein Restaurant in Boracay. Wahine. Unbedingt ein Dinner hier einlegen. Sehr gutes Essen.
