Eur and Garbatella hotels & places to stay

Staying in Area was not only joyfull, it also has the perfect location to public transport like the subway. This saves you a lots off travel expenses. The staff are well spoken english,spanish employees. They are very friendly. The bathroom is build for small sizes visitors. Bending over is not the issue. Making turns in the bathroom will scratch your ass automatically against one of the wall parts. The cleanliness is far most the best in Rome.

We chose to stay at Pulitzer on the last night of our stay in rome. it was perfect as this was away from the hustle and bustle of rome yet it was very accessible via metro. it was a less than 5 minutues walk from the Garbatella metro. the surroundings were quiet and we could relax from the hectic scehdule we had in rome. the rooms were comfortable and was well worth what we spent!

We thought we will get a room with shared bathroom but got one ensuited. The room was really nice. The staff was really nice and helpful. The hotel is close to the train station and there are good bus connections to almost every place. Metro is also not that far. Location can be also seen as a brawback as the road is quite noisy, also during the night. There also another accomodation with similar name in this building which is quite confusing.

Decent stay, nothing too extraordinary. Decent size room, kinda small shower. I am a 6ft tall guy and I was bumping my head on the shower-head. Pyramid Train stop is 5 mins walk and it's just two stops to Colosseum. The staff was super friendly and provided us with free breakfast + early check-in. If we had any questions regards to the city, we just asked the staff. The only thing we didn't like is that its next to the train tracks and you can hear the trains clearly. The noise doesn't bother us, but for some folks, it could be an issue. P.S Train ticket machine only accepts cash or coin. No credit card

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Overall, the hotel was lovely. What made the stay more comfortable was the superior service from the staff. They were super friendly, warm and inviting. They were considerably accommodating in every way imaginable. They held a package I received from Amazon for a week prior to my arrival. I only have a few negative feedback comments about the hotel. First, it is very far from central Rome. However, it is not their fault as I am the one who booked the hotel. Being a first time visitor, I really had no clue that it was as far as it was. Even with that said, you can arrange for the shuttle to take you to the nearest train station and off you go into the city for EUR 1.50 to get to Termini. My second negative point is that the room was very small and that there was no coffee maker in the room. I really believe that they should invest in that. It will make for a better stay. Although the breakfast was very good, there were too many sweets.

i travelled with my husband and love to stay at this modern hotel. we have problem to find this hotel on our arrival at fiumicino airport, as we have mistakenly taken the airport express to roma termini instead of the train to trastevere station. i would like to remind those who is the first time to visit roma must be very careful to avoid taking wrong train because the station just parallel with each other and no clear sign for you. when we finally arrived the trastevere station, we couldn't find the bus stop for no. 170. we have asked more than five people but no one can clearly indicate where is the station is, therefore we have to walk there. it took us more than 1.5 hours to find the hotel. fortunately the hotel didn't disappoint us, the reception is simple but modern. the room are nice with very clean environment and comfortable bed. toilet with modern and simple design and with all toiletry. staff were also friendly and helpful. buffet breakfast was good but a little boring after you have the same food every day. they should make some change on the menu. also need to mention that it was very quiet to walk from the bus stop to the hotel, although it is only less than 10 mins walk but probably not too suitable for those family with young kids or anyone afraid to walk at the dark. other than that, we were happy with the stay. nearby the hotel, you can also find lots of shopping place. must try the gelato nearby the hotel, it is about 15 mins walk. it is located at the main street on the side of the bookshop feltinelli. must mention that i booked this hotel via agoda, as they have low price guaranty policy, it helped us to get a very good rate. their service is great and response very quick. this is the first time i booked hotel via them.

On arrival mid morning I was told checkin wasn't until 6 pm unless I paid €10 per extra hour because the prices offered by Agoda were so cheap that the hotel made hardly any money after Agoda commissions!!! So I paid the extra €50 as I was tired after a 4:30 am start that morning. The location is abysmal! Sort of in an industrial yard with car repair places and the like around and right near the ring road. A taxi to center is €30 minimum.

I recommend City Lights Rome if you travel in Rome. The room is very nice, clean and comfortable with balcony and Agnes is very nice and she made my stay so comfy and relaxing. I will definitely stay with them when I go to Rome again. Location is very good. Piramide (metro) and Ostiense (train) stations are very close and it takes less than 10 min by foot. From Piramide, you can access to Colosseo easily (two stops) and also from Ostiense you can access to Rome Fiumicino airport without exchanges (around 30 min). The guest house offers an airport pick-up so if your flight arrives at Rome late at night you may want to purchase the service. They are located in an apartment and Agnes is not there for 24/7 (seems like this style is quite common in Italy), but she always responds e-mails very quick and you can expect her swift action when you have any issues during your stay. One day she helped me with arranging another blanket when I asked her for and that was very helpful. The guest house is surrounded by some coffee shop, pizza place, gelato, supermarket, Ramen place, fruits shop, supermarket etc. Very convenient. Again, City Lights Rome is highly recommended in Roma!
