In for Songkron, loved the place!”
I have traveled Thailand for 7 years and found this to be a real gem. The staff was great and very helpful. Clean rooms and quite. Great location as well. I have stayed many places in Chiang Mai over the years but would come back and stay next time. Only recommendation maybe omelet bar.

Excellent hotel with exceptional staff”
The highlight for us during our stay here was the staff, they were so so friendly and so helpful...gave us an option to upgrade our room for free, helped me print some work documents, arranged transportation and guides for us, and gave us a safe place to store our luggage while we waited after check out for our flight. The beds are varied depending on room, some are rock hard, some are very soft and some are a happy medium. Pool could use a wee bit of a sweep and closes early but we didn't end up really using it anyways as we were out and about almost every day. Shower is very good. Location is WONDERFUL. Room was clean and well kept. Over all an absolutely lovely hotel and we'll definitely be back next time we're in Chiang Mai (hopefully soon!!!)

Nice little hotel in an ideal location”
My stay was satisfactory and the room was just fine. Some of the rooms have the headboard close to the door, so you may be awaken by those who walk by, or shut their doors hard. I requested another room in my case, and was very pleased with it. The small outdoor gym is rusted and needs to be replaced. The small pool looked nice, but you can't really do laps in it. As of November 2018, the restaurant was under construction (front building), and there was noise and toxic smells at certain times in the morning and day. The alternate breakfast (free) is being served nearby at a small shop. It's very basic. I'd recommend paying and going to other places close by. My favorite place by far, is DaDa Cafe'; further down the main street at: 20/1 Ratchamanka Rd. Check their hours on Google. I think 9:45am start. The food is excellent. Also, be sure to ask if the hotel transfer is available BEFORE you book. It was advertised on Agoda, but when I arrived, they said it wasn't. 150 baht taxi.
Dear Jay Thank you for stayed our hotel and taking time to reviews for us. I'm pleased to hear that you are happy with your stayed. On the other hand, Please accept my apology for any inconvenience. We find out and take action to solve immediately. Thank you once again for your helpful suggestions on ways to improve our record. Not as advertised. Disinterested staff ”
We booked this hotel because it had a swimming pool so our children could unwind. The pool was unfit for use, the plastic liner was split and there was a lot of black mould and grime at the bottom of the pool - I couldn’t let the children in it. See pictures attached. When I told the manager she made a crying gesture and that was the end of her customer service. We asked for an extra pillow and were charged THB100 as a deposit. When we checked out we were told it wasn’t a deposit and they refused to refund our money. All in all if you are looking to stay in Chiang Mai I would avoid this hotel.
Dear Vicky and Family Thank you very much for your take time to shared your feedback . About swimmingpool we will improve but for extra pillow when you come to contact at reception ,We ready to inform you we have extra charge 100 Thai Baht for 1 pillow not a deposit from the reason why we don't refund money back to you.
Our stay here was fine. I would say that at the normal price, it is not a good value for the money, as things were a little dingy, but it was a great value on sale. The hotel building was nice, but it was a little rundown. The gym equipment didn't work (and it was outside, which, in the Chiang Mai smog, can make it difficult to breathe). Staff were pleasant. Breakfast buffet was great - many options and quite tasty. Good location in the Old City. Beds were too soft.
Comfy bed - not often happens in Thailand, so we were grateful! Pool ok, a/c nice, we were happy, the buffet breakfast was a bit hit and miss but something for everyone's taste/palate. Popular with Chinese.
Payment miscommunication between agoda and hotel”
I booked this reservation under a Pay at the Property option. I chose this option because i wanted to pay at the hotel without using my credit card. If i had planned to use a card, i wouldve chosen a cheaper ‘pay upon reservation option’. Upon arrival at the hotel, i asked if i could pay for the hotel and they informed me that i did not have to. Since i was told this, i expected to pay at checkout. Upon checkout, I learned that the hotel had already charged payment to my card. It was too late to reverse the transaction as I had to leave to catch my flight. The hotel informed me that they received my payment information Agoda. This is the first time I have had any trouble with a booking through Agoda and I hope this issue will not be repeated.

Hotel was nice but unfortunately under some construction/upgrades. The work was during the day and mostly wasn't too bothersome, One of the rooms had a consistent problem with the toilet. The rooms weren't anything to write home about but had the softest beds we have had on our vacation for the last 2 weeks. I will note beds in Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia have been very firm (hard as rocks). Breakfast was a buffet style with several Thai options, fresh fruit, and the standard pancakes and french toast (which made my boys happy). The staff were very helpful and Right next to the hotel is a nice Thai lady who offers laundry services for 30 baht per kilo. Great deal, Food vendors aren't far. You can eat at the restaurants but the food vendors are tasty and cheaper.
Eurana Boutique Hotel”
Hotels located in central Chiang Mai, very closed to Ta Phae Wall. Therefore it was very loud from the traffic outside. There is smell from drain water or dogs. The pictures showed in webseit look nice but it only clean and nice at lobby, at pool and other area looks like it has not been renovated for a while and not well maintained. The room has air condition but bathroom is not clean, you can see dirt on tap. Showerhead has broken. We have booked for 4 Persons and got 3 pillows, for 1 more pillow we need to pay 50 Baht. Also for key you need to put 500 Baht deposit and get it back after checking out. Breakfast are ok. Staffs are friendly.
Overall reasonable hotel little overpriced for what you get”
Overall a reasonable hotel, slightly over priced. Good location. Quite area off main street Room good size Old but fairly clean Bathroom could do with a update, lack of hot water in shower, would not be good in coler weather, had hot water for around two hours most days. Has pool but not great, very little shade, plastic liner on old pool Breakfast each morning reasonable
Great location! Kind of expensive though.”
What I like about this hotel is that the staff are incredibly helpful. It’s so close to the night life about a 6 minute walk. The room is kind a decent size and it has a fridge. One of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed at. It is rather expensive for Chaing Mai but you will not have a bad time.
Dear Jose Thank you for stayed our hotel and taking time to reviews for us. I'm pleased to hear that you are happy with your stayed, location, cleanliness and staff. Thank you once again for your helpful suggestions on ways to improve our record. I certainly would love to have the opportunities to welcome you again in near future. Best regards, General Manager
Great location, friendly staff, but could improve a few things!”
Overall, it was a great stay. The few things that were bad was that it was noisy at night, bc the person in the room above me was stumping around at 12 mid night for 3 nights & slamming the door. The safety deposit box was not working (couldn’t open/ close it!) and it was not bolted to the floor! So, if there was theft, they could easily carry the entire safe away. I usually leave my passport in the safe when i travel, but I did not trust it to leave it in the safe at Eurana. Also, another con was the WiFi was not great, keeps dropping, and have to re-login every 10 mins! Also, on the website where I booked it, it did NOT indicate that you have to leave a cash deposit, for the room key.
Dear Binh Thank you for stayed our hotel and taking time to reviews for us. I'm pleased to hear that you are happy with your stayed. On the other hand, Please accept my apology for any inconvenience. Unfortunately we were bitten by bed bugs as soon as we arrived in a deluxe room. We caught the bug and showed reception. They moved us to a suite which was lovely and no bugs there. Pool is fab and sun loungers comfy.
Dear Colleen Thank you for stayed our hotel and taking time to reviews to us. I'm pleased to hear that you happiness our pool. On the other hand, Please accept my apology for bug in your room. We find out and take action to solve immediately. Thank you once again for your helpful suggestions on ways to improve our record. I certainly would love to have the opportunities to welcome you again in near future. Best regards, General Manager
Great location ”
Perfect location for being in the city - great for exploring. Nice staff especially the smiley luggage man! Breakfast was nice, basic but just what we needed really. Rooms were nice and included a fridge. Bathroom smelt a bit damp but that was the only downside for us. All in all a good stay :)
Dear Leanne Thank you for your kind to taking the time to review your stay with us. We are very pleased to hear that our staff made your stay pleasant. On the other hand, Please accept my apology of the defective of smell in the bathroom. we will find out and solve that problem as soon as possible. On behalf of Eurana Boutique Hotel, we are wishing to welcome you again for your next visited. Sincerely yours, General Manager
Best for the money!”
We stayed at four hotels in Chiang Mai. This was the best for the money. The "gym" was to pieces of equipment, so nothing to speak of, but the pool, was wonderful. Most are too cold! This was perfect! Nice lounges, etc. The staff were exemplary, the location good and the price (around $30) well worth the facilities. Right inside the gate, the location was awesome!
Good value but hard beds.”
Great location in Soi 6, close to many cafes; bars and the Soi 6 Kad. The pool needs s lot of work due to algea, and if you stay in the renovated delux pool rooms the bath rooms are still in need of attention. The only real criticism was the very hard bed. However, that's not unusual in Chaing Mai. The staff are very helpful and the hotel is clean. Like anywhere in Chiang Mai you will experience Jeen (Chinese) en masse and if you are un lucky enough to have them at your hotel with a pool side room you'll regret paying for the delux pool side room.
Spacious family room and good overall”
We got a good deal with a family room which is one double and one twin connected with a sitting area in between - spacious! It was facing inside so was dark but ok. Breakfast had a wide range of choices. Staff was friendly. The entire hotel was clean except the pool. The bottom must have not been cleaned for a while and had some debris. The pool water had some sour taste. I did not ask and assumed it was the sanitizing agent.
Standard 3 star hotel in old city in good location”
I had what they called a Superior room. It was decent and clean, but the bathroom needs work. The tiling was grotty, and the shower tended to flood the bathroom. The breakfast was decent, and they were flexible about making other items that were not there on a given day. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is fairly exotic & warm . Despite situated within the busy town district but sleep well as noise level is low Very close the airport & all shopping mall The only set back with the hotel are : Poor maintenance of room Cleanliness of toilet
It was pleasant for what I needed.”
I asked for an airport pickup and waited for about 20 minutes and then got a taxi. When I got to the hotel they said the driver was there. I asked for a late check out and they told me 2 p.m. Person cleaning rooms came before 1 p.m. and then They called at 1:30 and said "check out now!" My plane didn't leave until 7 p.m.
