Hotel is well located. Close to museum, royal palace, and riverside quay - within a block! Basic accomodation, but clean, and with a lovely open air pool. Staff were happy to help with bookings, tours, taxis, etc. Only real negative was the breakfast. Much better elsewhere...
The place was ok. The room had good beds but nothing else was provided in the bathroom (except for towels and toothbrush/soap) so you really have to bring your toiletries like shampoo, soap etc. Some of the staff was actually quite helpful and willing to offer recommendations. Unfortunately, I also had a bit of a disturbing experience with one staff. He was very friendly at first but then he started making comments about how I look, like “you’re beautiful” which I understand can be a compliment. But he also mentioned knowing my room number and bed number which was a bit disturbing especially for a solo female traveller like me. I decided to check out early and the next day he sent me a message about only two other girls sleeping in the room. This was a bit worrisome so please do be careful. I am writing this so that other travelers will be extra careful.
Nice and charming place right behind the Royal Palace, Riverside in walking distance. Friendly staff and big community area plus big pool and trouble-free WiFi.. One downside is that the standard rooms don't have windows and thus no daylight, let alone a view.
Great Location Hotel”
Very good location close to Mekong River and Royal Palace. The staff were very helpful at organising the best tours and places to visit. The staff and the location made this hotel. There were some nice friendly local earteries in this street as well as some western ones that were ok. The sunset river cruise that the hotel recommended was very good way to get a feel for the city and the enormity of the mighty Mekong River.
New management and better than ever!”
Eureka Villas has been my accommodation of choice for a number of years when visiting Phnom Penh. Now under new management, Ling and her partner, supported by many of the existing local team, go out of their way to ensure that guests feel at home. The whole exterior has received a welcome coat of paint and you can clearly see the ongoing investment and enthusiasm to take the place to a new level; I'm sure that there are more improvements to come! If you're looking for spacious, comfortable rooms with a bit of tranquility in a great central location, with a fantastic swimming pool, you'll not go wrong here.
Nice hotel. Great location.”
I only stayed here for 3 days as I was moving onto Siem Reap. It was recommended to me by a friend who had stayed here in the past. Large rooms with a nice bathroom. Relatively quiet and the street wasn't that busy. Quick and easy check in and check out. Short stroll to many restaurants and about ten minutes from the Mekong. Friendly tuk tuk drivers out the front that weren't too pushy. The driver I had was Sim and he was excellent. Breakfast was ok and certainly did the job. Would certainly stay here if I was ever in town again.
Great value for your money”
Great location, friendly staff, pretty good food , rooms were clean and had everything in the room what you needed!! This was my second time here so obviously I recommend this hotel if you are sole. Oh and it's guest friendly as well!!
Ain't what she used to be ”
Still a great place to stay, but I noticed it was unclean if you looked under or on top of things. Aging decor. Still in a fantastic location and excellent staff. But you can now find newer, more elegant boutique hotels with a swimming pool that are much better value for money.
Khmer New Year”
This was a short stay here. I know many friends who come to use the pool with their families so it was good to run into them. This place is just a simple joint but feels comfortable. The owner Paul and his Cambodian wife are pretty relaxed so it has a feel to it like it is a friends house you are staying at.
Return visit does not disappoint”
I have stayed here on a number of occasions. The staff remembered me and very welcoming, were helpful about late checkout, the location just near the Royal Palace is excellent. There was easy parking for colleagues who were travelling with me. All in all, a great place to stay.
Good hotel for a solo traveller or couple or famil”

The best hotel in Phnom Penh”
Excellent hotel, One of the best hotels in Phnom Penh. Excellent location, close to bars, shopping centres, the riverside and nightclubs. The staff will take care of you and are to be trusted. Not really much to say apart from if you're reading this, I strongly suggest staying here.
A return visit to the Aussie Oasis ”
This is a great place to stay - is you are an Aussie the little touches of vegemite, peanut butter and milo are great! Never thought I would sa that a shower water in Cambodia was sometimes too hot.. was undergoing renovations so a little noisy during the day but is a fantastic place to stay
Centrally located, friendly staff”
Our stay at Eureka was very pleasant, The Manager, Mr Hen, could not do enough for us, we will definitely go back there again, we will also recommend Eureka Villas to all our family and friends, Eureka Villas is centrally located and very close to The palace and restaurants
centrally located accommodation ”
Our stay was excellent, highly recommend;, they have little extras like milk in the room and Vegemite at breakfast, are extremely interested in any advice you could give to make your stay more comfortable ,very clean hotel, very friendly staff, centrally located
Convenient location and friendly staff”
Small hotel with spacious rooms in very central location near to Royal Palace and most tourist areas in Phnom Penh. Very helpful and friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere, staff keen to help and speak good English. Great value for the size of rooms and location
Superb Experience, Highly Recommended!”
We stayed at Eureka for 3d/2n. My sister were teasing me for choosing the hotel because of its pool but too bad, it was under renovation when we stayed there. Eureka Villas is 5-10 minute walk to Royal Palace and Riverside. It is sooo accessible to the tourist spots and you can walk as far as Wat Phnom and Night Market. The management can recommend you a kind, polite, honest and english-speaking tuktuk driver that will take you to Killing Fields,S21 Prison and Russian Market in a cheap price. He even bought us masks to cover our nose. As per him, the road to Cheoung Ek is so dusty. And dear, we are very thankful to his thoughtfulness. What I love about the hotel is their service. The staffs are all polite, attentive and friendly. The room where we stay was big. And the breakfast they serve? It was soo delicious! The only thing that was on the bad side is that the aircon of the room takes a long time to cool down the room temperature, but i guess it is normal as it was the same issue we had when we were at Ho Chi Minh and Siem Reap(or maybe,it was just really hot) Eureka Villas really made our stay worthwhile. If ever I got another chance to visit Phnom Penh, I will definitely stay at their hotel and will surely recommend this to my friends. To Eureka Villas' management, Thank you so much!
Small Boutique Hotel”
Overall we were pleased with this hotel. only a few small niggles. After a hot long day traveling all we needed was a warm shower and a cold drink. When arriving the mini bar was warm and the shower had no hot water. The villa is a nice 3 star place, nice pool to cool down in front of the hotel, pleasant bar (but maybe suited more to singles). Clean and staff were generally nice. Location was fine, near the Royal Palace but take a tuktuk as the entrance is at the opposite end.
Great Place for a Family!”
stayed for 1 week and had an amazing time. we felt right at home during our whole stay. we have 3 very young children so we booked a family suite. the hotel also provided us with a baby cot. all the staff were very helpful and friendly. the kitchen ladies even cleaned out our baby bottles for us. the rooms and grounds are very clean. breakfast is very good too! outside there is always a tuk tuk waiting to take you where you want to go. the location is central and is a short walk from the national palace and the river. there is a also the paragon mall that is a few blocks away that has a great play area for young kids on the top floor called monkey business! we will definitely stay here again next time!
Lovely hotel in a nice setting”
nice location, great service from chivorn and team. stayed there 2 times, first time my room was on the ground floor near the kitchen which was quite noisy and dark as there was no window, but 2nd time was on the 1st floor and the room was first class. nice swimming pool, breakfast done its purpose. not far to the riverfront.
