Worth the Money”
This is the cheapest hotel we could find in sf the last minute. We read the reviews before going and thought it would be bad but, it’s clean, there’s a tv fridge and microwave in the room, and the location is right in Chinatown so you can walk to everything very easily. Downsides, it’s above a topless bar so it’s loud. I can sleep though anything, but my bf needed earplugs.

Great value in a fun neighborhood! ”
North Beach is for energetic people who enjoy living! The rooms are larger and have both a fridge and microwave but there are plenty of spots at all price points to grab a bite on the streets! A delightful stay if you can handle some noise in the evenings!

Great value for the money, would stay here again.”
The rooms and bathrooms and showers were very clean. Shared bathrooms for the floor but the rooms are equipped with a sink and mirror, fridge, and microwave., as well as a large flat screen TV with satellite. There is wifi but the connection is hit or miss. Only complaint is no fan or ac in the rooms so they can get a bit stuffy. Ad also says there's hotel parking but there really isn't. You have to pay to stay in a garage, lot or metered parking . Or try to find 2 hr or free parking on the streets, being mindful of street sweeping days and times and the times you are not allowed to park there. Be careful to Read signs around the area you intend to park . Other than this, the rate and centralized tourist location is hard to beat.

Very good”
Super handy old hotel that looks down on City Lights bookstore and up at the Transamerica building. We walked down the hill to the Embarcadero and over to Fisherman's Wharf. I have a breathing problem, so my daughter and I rented those street 🛴 scooters to go back up the hill. It was a blast. We had lunch on the wharf, and breakfast both days at Cafe Trieste, which is just down the street from the hotel. Chinatown for dinner one night, and a slice of pizza and salad at the restaurant to the left of the hotel, and a great carne asada burrito at the restaurant to the right of the hotel. There's a liquor store where you can buy water around the corner. The thing that made us laugh about the hotel was the stairs as you open the front door. They go straight up. No elevator. Everything was perfectly clean. The only thing was the vomit on the threshold of the room nextdoor still had vomit on it from the person who didn't quite make it all the way inside to puke. In the afternoon it was cleaned up. The room was nice. There were high ceilings. Tasteful painting and decor. The TV was fine. The beds were new and the sheets were new. The friendly clerk handed us the clean blankets when we checked in. My daughter's only complaint was that she was cold. It's central heating without room controls. My wife and I were fine. She climbed into bed with us the second night, and she was warm. But we're from Arizona and not used to the cold. The bathroom was new and clean. I could have used a plastic cup, but I bought a water bottle the next day and used that. And the bustling Columbus Ave view from the corner window, which you could slide open and take the city in, was amazing. Just know that this area is also home to old strip joints, but I think because of covid-19, that all seemed to be shut down. A few homeless men and few tourists these days. Chinatown on Grant for the tourists was mostly shut down, but the food markets of the residents were busy on Stockton. Some restaurants are

I am a regular traveler. I do so for work. I want a clean quiet room. I don't need a view. I am not there to party. Despite my request I was put in a central room. Ok garbage can shuffle is Hotel driven. Noise in halls well. Noise above and next door all night and morning not ok. The bedbugs and bites say it all. The waste cans are used for All types of waste. I should get a refund. Enough

Place for the night only”
Stayed for 5 days First day I froze. Went to office to get a blanket and it was closed. I had to use towl and put feet in second pillow. I said something about the next day and Eddie said there should be a blanket in the room.the following nights where okay to sleep.one night a mentally ill, homeless person was beating on my wall and yelling outside my door at night. I open the door told him to get away . It was trash all around my door like outside. No apologies from hotel. Someone stole my items from the bathroom I went to office to get key and see who it was and Eddie let me stand in hallway with nothing but a towel for 30 minutes as I knocked on his bedroom door and yelled for him. If a guest didn't help me by calling over and over he would have not came out. The bathrooms are always disgusting. With better management this would not be a bad place.

Really nice hotel”
this hotel is actually a good choice for people come to san francisco to have a vacation, suitable price, good supplies inside the room : television, refrigerator, microwave...it's clean and has a nice view to the city. however the entrance is quite small, the frontdesk is in the 2nd floor, and if you have a lot of luggage, it's problem, 'cause u have to carry them by urself to ur room, no elevator :(. and also, it has no laundry. but, in general, it's good.

Convenient but noisy hotel”
My stay at Europa Hotel can be considered a satisfied one. The hotel is located conveniently near Chinatown and is only a tram/bus ride away to Fisherman's Wharf. The hotel rooms are also reasonably priced but it is located right beside a Gentlemen's Club, which can get pretty noisy and rowdy till late at night. The staff is friendly and helpful and were very flexible in allowing us to deposit our luggage till at night while waiting for our flight, allowing us to travel the city without worries.

Great location wedged between Chinatown and Little Italy. ”
Close to very good and authentic food and people. The Saloon only a hundred metres up, good live music there and drinks at very reasonable prices. Rooms facing Columbus Street a bit noisy at weekend with strip club and other bars just downstairs. But that's the tradeoff for the location. Busy intersection. 15 minute walk to fisherman's wharf. Showers are a little letdown but it's manageable. Staff are really friendly.

Surprisingly not bad”
So many of the google reviews are negative and I’m here to actually defend this hotel because it’s not THAT bad! Yes it’s loud and The mattress could use an improvement... it looks that floor was renovated, there is wifi, there is a TV and a REALLY good location! Okay yeah it’s surrounded by strip clubs and topless bars but it was all part of the experience. The front desk were really friendly and heck saved me lots of money. I’d recommend this this if you don’t mind the shitty bed and loud streets. Oh and there are shared bathrooms!
