a beautiful place tucked away in Mandaue”
The premises are beautiful! and the building itself is so charming. The staff are sweet and kind. It may be a little "away from the action" in the Cebu area, but it's quiet and easy to find. I've stayed there several times. The bathrooms could use a little renovation (old fixtures, standing water), but the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. This has become my place to stay when I'm in Cebu.
Beautiful but peculiar”
Delightful opposite of a bland central tower hotel: Amazing decoration inside and out with bonsai trees outside and silk flowers inside in all the many reception areas around sculptures and designer chairs. Its kind of a gallery cum tired hotel. The hotel really needs a front gate doorbell, 10 times the Internet connection speed, some tweaks to the effective but noisy air-conditioners, some maintenance on the doors and windows to seal the cool air inside and to keep the mosquitoes outside. Lovely friendly staff. Good restaurants are an electric tricycle ride away.
The location is accessible. The place is quite. ”
it feels like a haunted place. Too quite. But, hey..they have tv and hot water. Though the internet is a little slow in my room. Hehe. Coffee cost a bit high.
Beautiful place lots of policies”
It's a beautiful place with nice landscaping well taken care of on the outside the staff is wonderful it's a good bargain if you can put up with the policies the worst policy is the hot water heater they turned on at 6 p.m. so if you want to take a hot shower before then you're out of luck l ask them about turning it on earlier they said no .2 is the internet out of all the places i've stayed in the philippines i think this is the worst for the internet. 3 would have to be the electricity they turn off the circuit breakers to your room off when you leave so if your charging batteries it will not happen .4 is the noise they have a barking dog and the walls are paper thin so u can hear everything going on in the next room i had to sleep with earplugs in. 5 is the gate anytime you come and go there is no security guard one of the ladies from the office has to open and close the gate sometimes you find yourself waiting to try to get back n. 6 the ac was to hot or cold hard to control.
Great Value for your Money, Peaceful and Discreet”
I always enjoyed my stays here for the past 3 years. Breakfast was really filling so I always ordered it. If the location was better this would be my goto place. The location is in Maguikay so far from City Center and from the airport. Taxis are a hit or miss during rush hour and you have to cross a 50 meter alley to get to the road with some traffic on ML Quezon...same road as the bridge.
Great Value with American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) Like Feeling of Stay ”
Satisfied with my stay here with very filling breakfast. Great value for your hard earned dough. Only problem is the location is off the beaten path, somewhat far from airport and city center plus sometimes traffic and 20 meter walk from the road. The nearest mall is still 15-20 minutes away in Jcenter or Parkmall. Sometimes there was a wait for taxis and grab, so as a local option, you can ride a fixed route tricycle to Savemore Supermarket near Hiway for 8 pesos. TV usually works but that night it did not work. No hot water. Other than that, I would definitely recommend. It was funny that there were signs that said "NO PHOTOSHOOTING ALLOWED" so maybe visiting cameramen like the ambiance of the hotel.
This hotel is a quaint place to stay. Embellished with a unique style. The air conditioner worked fine, and the room was nice. The sink in the Comfort Room was a bit tight behind the door, but fine once the door was closed. There was no fridge, but we had access to the one downstairs. No microwave, but didn't need it anyway. Safe, secluded, and best rate in Cebu. Our only problem is that it was too far for where we traveled every day. However, that is not the fault of the hotel! I would stay there again!
It's not the 4- or 5-star in town, but our stay was wonderful. The air conditioning was great!. The CR was a tight squeeze for the sink area, but everything else was fine. No flat-screen TV; a bit blurred, but still okay for the money. We were happy to find this. It's an amazing little building with a European appeal. We would stay there again. It was just a bit far from our family south of Cebu City.
It was actually okay.!”
I stayed here for one night since it was not too far from the airport and I didn't intend to stay more to the south since I have a trip by the next day to Bantayan Island for the Holy Week. It was a risk though, with all the negative comments here and there so I gave it a try. And to my surprise it wasn't bad at all. The inside is really European style with a hint of dark vibe HAHAHA, but the outside looks more like a Balinese style except for the statues. My room was clean, there's no denying that it's quaint with low maintenance whatsoever, but for a price like this, it's not so bad actually. I really like the house, call me ignorant but I like the gothic feeling with the interior designs, from the pillars, to the stairs, the dusty curtains (I touched it out of curiosity). HAHAHA The staff was helpful and nice. It's pretty laid back kind of treatment but at least it's doesn't meant to disrespect in the sense of being polite and alert. No restaurant btw. Just delivery..
Given upgraded room and relaxing comfortable stay”
Tremendous experience but location in Maguikay Mandaue is very far from center of Cebu City or from Mactan. Sometimes the low rates to stay in the hotel is offset by high taxi fares. From the airport or city center expect to pay 150 -200 pesos.
Very Comfortable Stay with free breakfast that makes you full”
The experience was like a museum. The staff are like family and always take care of me. I found a slightly better place a little more expensive but closer to the center of Cebu but I do think highly of the Europa experience.
Always Returning to Great value with free bfast ”
Continual returnee to this place which has a museum feel. Always Returning to Great value with free bfast. Only problem is it is far from the airport and mango and fast food also hard to find taxis sometimes and hotel is a walk from the road. There is a 7~11 pharmacy and 2 internet cafes nearby.
A very pleasant stay”
Yet again, this place is home from home. The staffs are friendly and vigilant. The place is clean and the good great. It was the manager's birthday during our visit and we were invited for some delicious food. Thank you
Comfortable Stay Nice Value but not flexible ”
Comfortable Stay with free breakfast and nice value for your money but the check in check out times are not flexible even if your arrival flight is delayed and you arrive in the early morning, they will charge per hour after the 12 o-clock checkout like most hotels. So I only stayed for 8 hours here instead of the original plan of 14 hours.
Great Hotel and Service Excellent Value for Money”
Great stay there and felt very safe and comfortable. They accomodated all my special requests and allowed my different guests to stay at different times of the day and night. Only criticism is that it is a bit far and out of the way from downtown, shopping malls, and airport in the other side of Mandaue. The airport is a straight drive crossing the bridge then make a left taking 30 minutes by taxi in the mid morning.
safe & comfortable”
This. hotel is my family"s Favorite place to stay when visiting for either business or pleasure. Its proximity to the rest of the City and the hospitality of the staff are great assets. Thank you for another pleasant stay.
Will visit again and recommend to others. The place I a secure and gated property that was private but at the same time only yards away from main road. There are different types of transport such as jeepneys and taxis which are affordable.
Creepy but Cheap”
We arrived at night and the place was really creepy. The room is quite old but overall the place was really well decorated (maybe too much). The breakfast was good considering the booking was actually cheap.
This is a nice place to stay. It feels like home. It's very clean and personnel is very kind.
Nice place. Very romantic.
