This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel. Although the standard is still acceptable, it has certainly fallen since our first visit in 2013. Particularly the situation at breakfast leaves a lot of room for improvement: hot dishes were cold, coffee machine not functioning properly; tables not cleared from previous guests, seems to be a shortage of staff. We were also looking forward to our evening meal in the hotel restaurant; but were disappointed as the presentation , quantity and standard had fallen remarkably since last year. It is quite sad to observe this, since the location is unbeatable, the staff (the few) very helpful and doing their best; the rooms are excellent standard. We will certainly stay there one more time, and hope that things have improved. However, we will not take an evening meal there again, unless it is obvious that some effort has been made to provide a value for money eating experience. There are many restaturants within walking distance who provide varied menus in each price category which are better value for money.
