The stay at the hotel was not bad
The location, the staff and the distance to the main attractions
It was quite good considering it is within walking distance to tourist attractions, not too far from Hard Rock Cafe

Budget stay. Room was at basement. Poor facilities
Only internet and location was good.
It was good enough for just sleeping. The room was so small we couldn't fit our cargo luggage in. Not very clean. Location was alright though and wi-fi was good. Staff over there were so-so. Enough if you are there for a budget stay. Don't expect any luxury at all.

Cheap and nice
Friendly staff, cheap room, good location
Quentin England is a good place. Staff was very friendly and polite. The hotel is cheap. Room was clean but very small. However, it was quite enough to sleep and to enjoy the trip. Unfortunately there was no fridge in the room.

friendly staff & centrally located
quiet neighborhood / comfortable room / friendly front-desk staffs
Once I got upgraded to upper floor room, there're only positive comments; the room on the upper floor had high ceiling, water pressure was strong, window view towards the quiet street was lovely. Bruno, the Brazilian front-desk staff was very helpful & efficient.

Small but sweet
Clean room, staffs are really friendly and helpful, centrally located
Close to everything(except Central Station) in Amsterdam; shopping, museums, sightseeing boat. Staffs were really friendly and helpful. The room is small, but did not make me feel uncomfortable.

Most affordable hotel for a quick overnight
location, price
A good basic hotel. It was the cheapest option we found for a quick overnight in Amsterdam. Nothing fancy, but the room was clean, and the staff was friendly. Steep stairs and the bathroom was a bit crowded (shower very near the toilet, etc.) so not for people with mobility issues. A quick walk to the lively Liedsplein area (sp?), with good bars and transportation access. City bus to the airport takes a little over a half hour, costs only about four euros, and leaves every 15 minutes (Bus #197) from Liedsplein.
