Exceptional”
Our general experience of accommodation in Portugal was high service, fantastic customer focus of hotel staff and good, cozy, very clean and nice quality of all accommodation we used. We arrived to Pousada de Sagres on Christmas Eve and even received some Christmas treats from the hotel. There were welcome and Xmas cards and nice notes about the history of the place in the room. The room was big, with a big balcony over-looking the sea. We had Christmas dinner in the hotel restaurant, warmed by a real wood fireplace. The smell of the burning wood and decorations gave us a feeling of magic and nice emotions. The breakfast was OK, everything you basically need, but not as extensive as in some of the smaller Guesthouses we stayed in. It was a bit chilly in the room and we tried to heat it using the aircon. Parking was free of charge with plenty of spaces on the territory of the hotel. Personnel was very attentive and helpful.

If you are wanting to lend some time in the area then don’t hesitate for one minute about where to hang your hat for your visit. The views are simply stunning. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Just as one expects from a great hotel group as this there are no disappointments

Marvelous Historical Hotel”
This hotel is in a great location on the point. The staff were lovely, our room was very big and the towels (my personal check point) large. We had a large balcony with a great view. The restaurant was a little disappointing for dinner, breakfast were very good.

The End of Europe”
We were there one night in January so didn’t enjoy the beach or a swim but did visit the old fort which was quite enjoyable. Accommodations were reasonable and spacious. Dinner in dining room was more pricey and acceptable quality as was the service.....7.5 rating.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cette Pousada; l'emplacement est extraordinaire en bord de mer; notre chambre était très adéquate; les petits-déjeuners étaient bons et variés; le personnel est attentif; il y a aussi une belle piscine et des terrasses bien aménagées; grand stationnement pour automobiles; plusieurs bons restos à proximité.

Grande batisse des années 1930 rénovée avec de grands espaces, salons, salle à manger, grandes chmabres avec belle vue sur la mer. Endroit très calme, seul le bruit du vent qui souffle du large. Pour les amateurs de calme. Très bon buffet pour le petit déjeuner et service très présent et très disponible. Proximité du centre ville, des plages et du port.

Stilvoll, aber etwas antiquiert ”
Das Hotel ist wie alle Pousadas eine stilvoll und historisch eingerichte Unterkunft, die aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Bett war durchgelegen und furchtbar hart, Türrahmen stark beschädigt. Die Lage ist toll, das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Phantastische Lage, mäßige Küche, fragürdige "Deals"”
Die Lage der Pousada ist großartig, ja sensationell. Unbedingt lohnend ist der Strand unterhalb der Klippen, auf denen das Hotel steht - mit genialem Blick auf die Seefahrerschule Heinrichs. Das Abendessen war mäßig und überteuert - da bietet z.B. ein Fischlokal direkt am Strand deutlich Besseres. Überaus ärgerlich: Die Rezeption lockte mit dem (Nepp-)Angebot zum Verbleib im Hotelrestaurant, dass bei einem Konsum über 40 Euro eine Flasche Rotwein kostenlos sei. Es wurde also mäßig gut zu Abend gegessen mit zwei Portwein als Aperitiv und zwei Gläsern Weißwein passend zum Fisch für über 50 Euro. Auf die Nachfrage am nächsten Morgen, doch nun zum Abschied die Flasche Rotwein zu bekommen, hieß es nur lapidar und recht unhöflich, der "Deal" hätte nur gegolten, wenn der Rotwein am Vorabend konsumiert worden wäre. Das nenne ich Nepp.

Tolle Aussicht in einer alternden Unterkunft”
Historisches Gebäude, liegt direkt am Meer, ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, hat aber tollen Charme. Unser Zimmer war ein Superior, ausreichend groß, das innenliegende Badezimmer war alt, der schöne Balkon mit Meerblick und groß, Frühstück absolut ok, sehr freundlicher Service.

Underbart läge”
Mycket trevligt och hjälpsamt bemötande trots strul med boningen!!Hotellet ligger längst ut på en klippa med underbar utsikt! På frukosten saknades inget, även champagne fanns:))middagen var utsökt och servicen av toppklass.Detta hotell passar om man söker lugn och stillhet i en mycket angenäm miljö som kan tillfredsställa alla sinnen.
