Centrally located in Granada in a revamped historical building, the Hotel Comfort Dauro 2 continues to exceed its reputation. The convenient location provides great ease of access to the Cathedral, Capilla Real, Alcaiceria, Bibarambla Square, and Corral del Carbon, all of which are within 200 meters of the hotel. Known as one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Alhambra is only a 20-minute walk from the hotel. Rooms are furnished with a modern twist on rustic style and still retain the atmosphere of the ancient setting. They also come equipped with satellite TV and a mini bar.

Very Nice Hotel!”
I stayed at the Dauro II on Saturday May 24, 2014. This hotel is very difficult to find and without a GPS or a decent map I was fortunate to find a policeman who helped me find this place. It is kind of tucked away on a pedestrian street. If you tell someone it is on Navas Street, that will be easier. No one recognised the other street name. This hotel has recently been renovated and everything is updated. There are safes in the room, air conditioning, super comfortable beds and pillows, and the fluffiest towels ever! There is a minibar in the room, complimentary bottle of water and small bottle of wine in your room when you arrive. I really liked the energy conscious feature where you put your room key in to turn on the lights. When you remove the room key, the lights turn off! Floors are laminated hardwood. The bathroom had a bidet and toilet. I was in a double room and the bathroom was a little tight fitting with the sink and the toilet the way it was situated. The hotel is very comfortable and the check in and out was fairly quick. In the lobby area there is a room where you can get complimentary coffee and tea all the time. The cafeteria attached to the hotel is open until 2:00 in the morning. My only drawback was the noise. I was on the 3rd floor (which is the top) and the bars stay open until 2:00 AM. With the narrow street and tiled walls and street, noise bounces around and up. It was extremely noisy the night I was there and I was kept awake by the shouting, singing, and yelling until almost 5:00 in the morning. I don’t know if this is typical though, it was the night Spain won the Soccer Tournament and everyone was very happy. Ask for a high floor, away from the street if they have such a location.
Great location, friendly staff, and comfy bed”
A 5-8 minutes walk from the bus stop - we took the bus from the train station to Gran Via 1 (where the cathedral was). It's on the calle navas street where a lot of tapas bars are...lively location. Close to the city center and the surrounding area. Granada is small so its all walkable...besides the Alhambra (unless you are up for the challenge). We got there around 10/11 in the morning and we were hoping we could check in early. The friendly staff gave us our room right away. We had a corner room so it was great so we didn't hear any noise...not sure how the noise level would be if it was a room on the main street. The downfall was that the elevators only go to the third floor and our room was on the 4th. So carrying our huge luggage for a flight of stairs wasn't so fun...but that shouldn't stop you from picking this hotel. The bed was superrrrr comfortable...memory foam. The staff English proficiency was great. It truly was a great value for an awesome location, great staff, and a great room. The overall decor is on the older looking side and doesn't look super modern/high end. But you pay for what you get.
Excellent in all ways”
Located in the heart of Granada this hotel is perfect for exploring the city, including of course The Alhambra which is about 15-20 minutes walk away. Your car will be parked for you and the cost is €17 per night. Our room was spacious, clean and well-equipped; the staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful and efficient; the breakfast in the attached cafe was very acceptable; the room rate was very reasonable. All in all everything that we'd hoped for and we would definitely return.
Excellent”
Most enjoyable 3 night Anniversary trip. Clothes hanging space very limited but lovely room and great beds.Finding the hotel by car was so bad we had to hire a Taxi and then follow it !! The staff were excellent and a special thank you to Noelia Valencia for her patience and invaluable help. Step out of the Hotel door and straight into the vibrant "tapas alley" and onto the wonderful city of Granada. Gary & Ann Marshall
LOOK NO FURTHER”
We stayed at this property from Oct 21 to 24 . Right from the time we checked in till check out they did an outstanding job. Ms PAQUI at reception did a superb job . She was very helpful in guiding us to travel . She even booked Flamingo dance place for visit .. Location of this hotel was superb with hop on hop off train going just behind the hotel from the square . Also lots of place to eat right at the door step..super market El Cortez de ingle was less then 5 minutes walk . Breakfast at the hotel was marvelous with multiple options for vegetarian like me , Quality was excellent . I will definitely stay next time I visit Granada without a doubt .
Best beds!”
The beds and pillows are so comfortable! I had the best nights sleep on our trip here! The room was clean and very pretty and spacious! Just perfect. The one downfall was the wifi. Only one side of the bed and the bathroom got service intermittently. A little disappointing but it works great in the lobby. The room and bed made up for it. The location was ideal - close to lots of bars and plazas. We walked everywhere and had an amazing time. Would love to stay here again next time I'm in Granada.
Very good hotel in excellent location.”
Excellent location to explore Granada this very good hotel is very reasonably priced for the standard of the accommodation would definitely stay here again. The hotel also offered good breakfast options.
Very good ”
The hotel is just near the city center and many restaurants nearby. The room is very clean and not small for a single room. The bathroom is large too for a single room. The bed is good for sleep. All are valuable in this hotel. Staff are friendly too, they try to give me a room earlier check in when I arrived hotel at 8am. very good experience.
Nice”
Good location, though parking was in the other dauro hotel and was just for small cars, so we had to put our car in a public parking paying 20 euro for the night
Great Location”
Perfect location, on a little street with lots of restaurants, from which to explore Granada. Excellent price and helpful staff. I did not eat at the hotel restaurant, so cannot comment on it. Walkable to great vegan restaurants. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
the best hotel in spain”
This hotel was the warmest in Spain I've visited in winter. The people in here was very kind. I strongly recommend this hotel in Granada. The place is also very easy to find and convenient to use the bus.
Nice comfortable central hotel”
Clean and comfortable city centre hotel. Single room was adequate for one person with a large bathroom. Some noise from local bars and restaurants late at night. Good attached cafe for breakfast. Free coffee and tea available all day in residents lounge.
Outstanding personnel ”
We liked it here , not quite easy to find , thanks to a shockingly complicated traffic system in Granada , the parking a nightmare - the nearby park garage was closed , still , once in the hotel lobby , it all turned sweet and it stayed like that for our whole stay.
Fantastic location”
the hotel is located on Navas street where you can find all restaurants. everything is super close. the room is very clean. there are little balconies in the room and the bathroom that was nice. the bed was very comfortable. the best part is the pillows. they are memory foam pillows! my friend and i slept very well. there were some reviews about the noises outside, but we didn't hear much though. book early to get the cheaper rate. i booked in last minutes so i paid about $80 per night but it was still a good deal when i thought about how comfortable the bed and pillow were!
Review of stay ”
The room I was in was right next to the stairs. You could here everytime someone walked up and down the stairs. There were children who especially jumped on the stairs which was very noise. You could hear them upstairs on the floor as well. It made a lot of noise. Would have been nice to have my own tea/coffee kettle in the room instead of at reception. There was also no milk at the coffee station. So if you did drink milk with your coffee there wasn't any. Reception staff was good. Buffet for 11Euro was pretty average. I wouldn't take it again. Hotel is central
perfect three star in the center of Granada”
The perfect location for visiting the sights in the town of Granada. Many possibilities for outdoor dining fight outside the hotel. Everything is in walking distance
Excellent”
Great value modern hotel. Friendly staff, good location, comfortable bed and spotless room. Couldn't fault it
solid and reliable hotel a solid three star.”
This solidly three star hotel is very conveniently located near all historical sites in Granada. the rooms are standard but well taken care of. a good hotel to be used as a base for touring.
Good location, comfortable rooms”
Hotel is located along a street with lots of restaurants, and is a few mins walk to the shopping street. Alhambra & Albaicin although much further was also within walking distance (30 - 45mins) - it's a nice walk. Room & bathroom were clean, beds comfortable, strong AC. Staff at reception were not very helpful nor were they very friendly. Overall a great stay.
Excellent Centrally Located Hotel”
Stay was excellent except that the room does not have coffee or tea making facilities. Seamless checking in and out. The room was good size and the bed was comfortable with large bathroom. Safe area and vicinity.
